The Chamber of Minerals and Energy of Western Australia is the peak resources sector representative body in Western Australia. We are a member-funded, not-for-profit organisation representing the views and the needs of members.

CME leads policy development on issues impacting the sector, promotes the value of the sector to the community, and provides an avenue through which members and stakeholders collaborate.

With the ingenuity and commitment of thousands of workers, Chevron Australia operates the Gorgon and Wheatstone natural gas facilities; manages its equal one-sixth interest in the North West Shelf Venture; operates Australia’s largest onshore oilfield on Barrow Island; and is a significant investor in exploration.

The Chevron Australia Downstream business delivers quality fuel and lubricant products via its Caltex and Puma Energy branded network of service stations across Australia.

They aim to grow their traditional oil and gas business, lower the carbon intensity of their operations and grow new lower carbon businesses in renewable fuels, hydrogen, carbon capture, offsets and other emerging technologies.
