Western Australian Technical Vocational Education Training (WATVET)

The Western Australian Technical, Vocational Education and Training (WATVET) is a quality consortium of Western Australian institutions brought together with the common goal of sharing capabilities and expertise in the identification and delivery of unique training solutions for the global market.

WATVET aims to increase the profile of Western Australia’s Technical, Vocational and Training sector across the globe through excellence in delivery and provision of outstanding educational and professional outcomes.

This will be achieved by the continual identification and management of opportunities where WATVET will utilise its’ expertise by:

• attracting international training organisations and businesses to WA

• developing offshore training partnerships to increase the flow of people and skills into WA

• developing customised training solutions in response to client needs through consortiums

• increasing the awareness and capability of Western Australia’s international training capability

• offering an agile centralised (‘one-stop-shop’) training and project management service

• providing consultancy services in relation to upskilling and skills development.
