Western Australia Academy of Performing Arts For over 40 years, the Western Australian Academy of Performing Arts (WAAPA) at Edith Cowan University has delivered internationally renowned performing arts training in acting, dance, music, music theatre, performance making, production and design, and arts and cultural management. WAAPA provides the most comprehensive range of performing arts training in Australia and their world-class staff provide rigorous and specialised training of the highest order. WAAPA graduates excel in their chosen professions around the world, confirming the Academy’s well-earned reputation.
