READERS RIDES

Bret Miller

Saginaw, MI When I first started riding, I was on a Japanese motorcycle. I finally graduated and bought a 2005 Harley Davidson FLHTCuI®. It was maroon and it had some minor lay-down damage. I rode her for one season and fell in love with her. Over the winter, I decided I’d give her a whole different look and some new life; I can’t believe what I’ve been missing out on all this time. I have recently put a stretch front fender, stretched bags and overlay fender stage III kit CFR slip-ons, with Vance & Hines true dual headers and a 21-inch king spoked front wheel. Also I wired in 96 LED lights and then I recovered my seat with an alligator skin seat cover. I also installed a four-inch low windshield, new hand grips and mirrors, and a two-inch lowering kit. To top it off, a sweet paint job was done by Jason Burden (989-280-4797) at Burden & Sons. My awesome photographer Robin Abbott took the photos for me. Thank you! 6 SEPTEMBER 2018 THUNDER ROADS MAGAZINE MICHIGAN
