TENNIS & PICKLEBALL

Tennis &Pickleball Center

WELCOME LETTER FROM BASIA PHILLIPS Welcome back to another season of fun and competition at the Incline Village Tennis & Pickleball Center, as we continue to expand our programs to accommodate the traditional and the new; the serious and carefree; and the gregarious and reclusive among us.

an atmosphere that promotes friendly competition, novice players, junior leagues, ongoing education, social mixers, and simply an environment for locals and newcomers to meet old friends and make new ones.

to its first Mountain West title and qualifying for the NCAA Tournament for the first time ever. Under Malroux's guidance, the men’s team had four players earn All-Mountain West honors in 2022.

So I hope you’ll stop by to say hello and register for any programs or clinics that will get you out on the courts this summer.

Prior to coaching the men’s team, Sylvain was the Nevada women’s tennis head coach from 2006-11, after which he spent time coaching the San José State Spartan’s women’s team from 2011-15 (taking them to the NCAA Tournament for the first time ever as well), before returning to coach the Wolf Pack men’s tennis team in 2015. Sylvain began his coaching career in the U.S. as an assistant coach at Clemson University (which made two Final Four appearances), and was named the ITA Division I Southeast Region Assistant Coach of the Year in 2003 and 2004. He has also been coaching tennis in the French federation, running many different academies and tennis clubs in France and the U.S.

See you soon,

Here at the Tennis & Pickleball Center, we’re ready to help anyone get back into shape with drop-in play opportunities as well as with clinics directed by our professional staff. We’ve made some big improvements to the facility over the past year, including some nice outdoor furniture on our new deck so we may mingle and get reacquainted. If you haven’t been by the Tennis & Pickleball Center in a while, please come check out what’s new! We are happy to welcome back many of our staff from last year, and also thrilled to introduce a new teaching pro to our staff, Sylvain Malroux, who will teach both tennis and pickleball clinics. Our intentions are to go beyond tennis and pickleball to create
