Burnt Cedar Pool Update

A 2021 Capital Improvement and Board of Trustees Priority Project, the Burnt Cedar Swimming Pool Improvements Project is now complete, and the brand-new Burnt Cedar Pool is available for the community to enjoy.

The project reconstructed the two existing pools (full size and toddler) at Burnt Cedar Beach, which were originally constructed in 1968. The new pool is wider to accommodate an additional 6th swim lane, and most-notably, the orientation of the pool has been modified to showcase the site’s incredible Tahoe views.

Kids are sure to spend hours enjoying the pool slide, and the wading pool will be very popular with its new fun water feature. The renovations will provide a modern, quality facility for Incline Village that also includes a raised terrace for dining and a new pedestrian path connecting the west parking area to the sandy beach and picnic areas.

We'd like to thank all of those community members who were able to join us at the Grand Opening ceremony held in late June (after this magazine went to press, or else we'd have a few photos from the ceremony here), and if you haven't yet been down to check out all the changes, we welcome you to come see what's new!
