Lexus RC300h

The Lexus Hybrid Drive system of the RC 300h has the indelible house “signature” all over it, in the continuing evolution of the “Hybrid” philosophy. The 2,5 litre petrol engine, 4 cylinder Atkinson cycle, combine with a powerful electric motor to provide a total force equal to 223 hp/164kW, which gives the RC 300h an acceleration from 0-100km/h in 8.6 seconds and a maximum speed of 190 km/h auto-controlled, whilst maintaining an average fuel consumption of 4.7 l/100 km alongside incredibly low CO2 emissions of 108 g/km. Special attention as in all the latest generation of models has been reserved for the tapered lines of the body, an invitation to sections of the public who have yet to fully appreciate the quality and values of the Japanese luxury brand. Let’s be specific: the clessidra front grille, the triangular light pattern¸ typical of the Lexus brand of sports cars, the nose, particularly pitched, and the tail, raised

up and evoking a spoiler effect, in addition to the “fins” leading rearwards to an extractor. Additionally in the F Sport version the new RC is really showing off in style thanks to an even more expansive front grille than that boasted by the Executive and a more performance-style set up for the car. No doubt we’re in the excellent company of a sporty coupé which pushes hard against convention: what better way to demonstrate one’s personality?
