Crescere insieme.

Questo è uno dei pilastri che nel tempo ha creato uno speciale legame nella Grande Squadra dei collaboratori del Gruppo Autotorino e che ci porta a maturare ogni giorno la passione e la dedizione nel nostro lavoro. Ma siamo cresciuti soprattutto perché iniziammo un lungo, ininterrotto ed importante percorso anche insieme ai Clienti, a tanti amici ed alle comunità dei luoghi ove operiamo.

Un solco delineato che viene da lontano, che vogliamo rendere sempre più profondo e tangibile.

Attraverso strutturate attività di formazione ed il supporto di sempre più efficaci strumenti informatici, il legame tra tutte le persone impegnate nelle attività quotidiane del Gruppo è diventato via via più stretto, attorno ad un fine che dobbiamo sempre tenere in primaria considerazione: essere a servizio del Cliente.

Anche in questo, le opportunità del mondo digitale ci spronano ad essere ancor più concentrati nell offrire un esperienza significativa e soddisfacente per chi si rivolge a noi: oltre al fondamentale ascolto personale, in rete aumentano i canali e gli strumenti con cui raccogliere aspettative ed opinioni del pubblico.

Non tutto si risolve e si conclude nella piazza digitale, ma qui possiamo comprendere opportunità, modalità e ambiti per continuare a crescere nella qualità come nella varietà dei servizi. Dobbiamo confrontarci con quanto fatto sino ad oggi e saper di dover sempre evolvere e maturare, specie partendo da dove non siamo stati pienamente all altezza delle aspettative nostre e del Cliente.

Il punto di arrivo si sposta sempre più avanti sospinto dai costumi dei tempi, ma rimane ben fermo nello spirito e nelle radici di Autotorino: accogliere tutti i nostri Ospiti in showroom come se stessimo aprendo le porte di casa nostra ed offrire loro il meglio della nostra attenzione ed ospitalità. Perché non solo la nostra missione, ma anche il bello del nostro lavoro è poter essere davvero il trait d union tra le esigenze delle persone e la loro piena soddisfazione, fino alle emozioni e ai desideri più profondi.

This is one of the cornerstones which over the years has created a very special bond between the Extraordinary Team of collaborators of the Autotorino Group, and that continues to direct us to develop the passion and commitment to our work each and every day. But we have grown above all because we embarked on a long, uninterrupted and vital journey together - with Customers, a host of friends and in association with the communities in which we operate. It’s a conception that has taken shape whilst coming from afar, and which yearns to become even more profound and tangible.

Through structured training programmes and the adoption of increasingly effective IT apparatus, links between everyone involved in the work of the Group on a daily basis have become ever-tighter, revolving around an end which remains our primary communal consideration: that of being at the service of the Customer. And with this in mind, opportunities served up by the digital world encourage us to be even more focused in offering a meaningful and satisfying experience for anyone who turns to us: in addition to fundamental personal accounts, on-line channels and appliances increase our awareness of the public’s expectations and viewpoints.

Of course not everything is resolved and finalised in the digital “forum” but at least here we can comprehend opportunities, methods and an environment within which we can improve both the quality and the range of our service provision. We must measure what we have achieved up to now and recognise that we have to continue to evolve and develop, and especially where we might not have fully lived up to both ours and our Customers’ expectations.

The point of arrival moves inexorably forward propelled by the changing times, but remains well-established in the spirit and roots of Autotorino: to welcome each and every Guest in our showrooms as if we were opening the doors of our home and to afford them the very best of our attention and hospitality.

Because this is not only our mission, but also the beauty of our work in having the ability to become a genuine liaison between the needs of the people and their complete satisfaction, and even their most profound emotions and propensities.

Editoriale Siamo tutti dentro il grande cambiamento e ogni giorno ci misuriamo con scenari imprevisti e imprevedibili.

Ciò che ci risulta più difficile è adeguare il valore e le priorità degli asset aziendali ai nuovi valori dominanti. In passato la consistenza degli immobili strumentali, delle attrezzature aziendali, gli avviamenti erano un parametro riconosciuto e valorizzato. Non è più così dobbiamo provare a pensare che altri sono gli elementi che danno un valore all azienda. Se poi ci occupiamo di un azienda di servizi, mi viene da dire che il valore principale di quell azienda sta nelle modalità e qualità di erogazione di questi servizi.

Diventano centrali donne, uomini e piattaforme digitali con cui ci relazioniamo con il Cliente, e i bilanci aziendali futuri dovranno contenere una valorizzazione dell intangibile rappresentato dalle persone e dai processi.

Questa è la sfida che dobbiamo raccogliere se abbiamo l ambizione di essere protagonisti attivi del nostro futuro. Significa ripensare noi stessi, provare a vederci dentro una grande orchestra, l azienda, che parla il linguaggio di questo tempo e agisce secondo i nuovi gusti dei clienti. Proprio il concetto di orchestra, del gruppo che suona in grande armonia, farà la differenza.

Autotorino si è sempre distinta per la sua capacità di precorrere tempi e gusti dei clienti. E stata l antesignana del commercio delle auto giapponesi, fuoristrada in particolare, come dell applicazione di successo del multimarchismo. Allo stesso modo oggi è leader di mercato perché, unica in Italia, offre la garanzia soddisfatto o rimborsato su tutte le auto nuove e usate. Una leadership da alimentare ogni giorno innovando nelle modalità e strumenti di relazione con il cliente. Questo è il nuovo terreno di confronto e misurazione che stabilirà chi resterà nel mercato a danno di coloro che invece ne usciranno.

Un grande chef diceva che un buon servizio pesa il 52% sul gradimento che esprime un cliente al ristorante. Funziona così anche nell auto, siamo vincenti prioritariamente nella qualità del servizio che il cliente percepisce, ben prima che per la bontà del prodotto che proponiamo. Questa è la via tracciata, non da noi, ma dal consumatore.

La digitalizzazione ci sta dando un grande aiuto nell attività di prossimità al cliente. Abbiamo l ambizione, fondata, di costruire un ecosistema Autotorino dove i servizi siano sempre più a portata di click, garantendo efficienza e trasparenza, i nuovi comandamenti del mercato.

Se al cliente basterà un click per raggiungerci in digitale, poi le persone che lo accoglieranno saranno decisive per qualificare in positivo la sua esperienza relazionale. Su questo lavoreremo molto nei prossimi mesi, perché in Autotorino le persone valgono e contano.

There is no doubt that we remain in a period of considerable change with challenging scenarios both unexpected and unpredictable every day.

In particular the elements which influence priority and value in company assets also change, factors readily discernible by the public at large. If then we are involved in a company providing services, it is clear that the key value of the company revolves around the methods and quality of the delivery of those very services.

Hence, women, men and digital platforms with which we relate with our Customers become central, and future Company budgets must contain an estimation of the intangible represented by both people and process.

This means re-examining ourselves, and adopting the configuration and character of a vast orchestra, a Company, which speaks the language of our times and acts appropriately to the changing tastes of the Customer. The very concept of Orchestra, of the group that plays together in grand harmony, is what will make the difference.

Autotorino has always distinguished itself for its ability to anticipate the times and tastes of its customers, and is currently the market leader because, uniquely in Italy, it offers a money-back guarantee on all its cars both new and used. It’s a pole position to be nurtured every day by tweaking and innovating the methods and tools involved in customer relations. Nuovo Lexus UX Hybrid

Nuovo Lexus UX Hybrid è il modello che permetterà a Lexus di raddoppiare le vendite in Italia nel 2020.

Si tratta del primo crossover compatto ibrido elettrificato, con tecnologia Self Charging Hybrid, nuova motorizzazione 2.0L, e potenza complessiva del sistema ibrido di 178 CV. Il lancio di UX rinforzerà il brand nella posizione di leadership nel mercato elettrificato premium dove oggi già rappresenta circa il 50% delle vendite grazie alla sua gamma 100% Hybrid. Le prime consegne del nuovo Lexus UX Hybrid in Italia sono previste entro il primo trimestre 2019 con un listino a partire da 37.900 €.

New Lexus UX Hybrid The new Lexus UX Hybrid is the model which will allow Lexus to double its sales in Italy in 2020. It’s the first electric compact crossover hybrid, with Self Charging Hybrid technology, new 2.0 litre engine, and overall power of the hybrid system of 178 CV (hp). The launch of the UX will reinforce the brand’s position at the head of the premium electrified market where it already accounts for around 50% of sales thanks to its 100% Hybrid range. The first deliveries of the new Lexus UX Hybrid in Italy are scheduled for the first quarter of 2019 with a list price starting at 37.900€.

Ormai ci siamo. Nel 2019 la MINI elettrica sarà assemblata a Oxford, nel sud dell Inghilterra. Pianificata anche la realizzazione delle varie componenti come, ad esempio, le batterie che arriveranno dal nuovo stabilimento di produzione di Dingolfing, mentre la provenienza dei motori elettrici sarà dal vicino impianto del BMW Group di Landshut. Una novità che si annuncia rivoluzionaria per la classica inglese.

Electric MINI We’ve got there. In 2019 the electric MINI will be assembled in Oxford, fine city situated in the south of England. Also in the pipeline is the production of a range of components, for example, the batteries will be arriving from the manufacturing plant in Dingolfing, whilst the origin of the electric engines will be the nearby BMW plant at Landshut. Lots of departures to report on by the leading German manufacturer for 2019. Starting with the new Class B, more sporty and dynamic than the previous generation, which guarantees it as once again the benchmark within its sector. More spacious and technologically-astute interiors, now hosting the revolutionary infotainment MBUX system, and latest-generation driver assistance apparatus, inherited from the Class S. There’s much anticipation also for the new GLE, ever more comfortable and exclusive, with a more spacious interior and the new totally Mercedes-Benz designed artificial intelligence system. The ever more aerodynamic exteriors, have adopted the new stylistic manner of the Stella, with a completely new range of engines.

“Reduce to the max” was the slogan with which 20 years ago smart radically transformed urban mobility. Today the brand is ever closer to its goal of realising its founders’ original vision, thanks to the exclusively electric traction.

Bearing witness to a radical shift of mentality, in October 2018 in Paris the smart showcar “forease” made its debut.

The range of “ready to” applications and the smart EQ control app, as well as making life easier in the city, are an expression of the smart approach to a shared and interactive mobility.

Interni più spaziosi e tecnologici, con l arrivo del rivoluzionario sistema di inoftainment MBUX, e dispositivi di assistenza alla guida di ultima generazione, ereditati dalla Classe S. Attesa anche per il nuovo GLE (sotto), più confortevole ed esclusivo, con maggiore spazio per gli interni e il nuovo sistema di intelligenza artificiale firmata da Mercedes-Benz. Gli esterni, ancora più aerodinamici, seguono il nuovo corso stilistico della Stella, con una gamma di motori completamente nuova.

Reduce to the max era lo slogan con il quale, 20 anni fa, smart cambiava radicalmente la mobilità urbana. Oggi il marchio è più che mai vicino all obiettivo di realizzare la visione originaria dei suoi fondatori, grazie alla trazione esclusivamente elettrica. A testimoniare il radicale mutamento di mentalità, a ottobre 2018 a Parigi ha fatto il suo debutto la showcar smart forease . La gamma di applicazioni ready to e l app smart EQ control, oltre a facilitare la vita in città, sono espressione dell approccio di smart nei confronti di una mobilità condivisa e interattiva.

Nuova Jeep Wrangler

Jeep celebra la quarta generazione del fuoristrada che vanta le migliori performance off-road. La nuova Wrangler è perfetta anche per tutti i giorni in città grazie a eccellenti livelli di comfort, allo stile autenticamente Wrangler e alla dotazione tecnologica con soluzioni avanzate. Wrangler prevede due avanzati sistemi di trazione (Command-Trac e Rock-Trac), bloccaggi elettrici dei differenziali Tru-Lock, differenziale a slittamento limitato Trac-Lok e barra stabilizzatrice anteriore a scollegamento elettronico. La gamma di motorizzazioni della nuova Wrangler ha due importanti novità - un turbo diesel da 2,2 litri e un turbo benzina da 2,0 litri. Entrambe le nuove motorizzazioni sono abbinate al cambio automatico a otto marce.

Il ricco 2019 di Toyota Tante le novità 2019 di Toyota presentate ai Saloni dell automobile di Parigi e di Los Angeles, che saranno introdotte in concessionaria lungo l anno.

Si parla di nomi importanti, ricchi di significato per il brand nipponico: anteprime parigine per la nuova Corolla (in foto - che sostituirà Auris e tornerà ad essere il nome ufficiale della gamma di segmento C) e per il nuovo RAV4, il SUV più venduto al mondo con oltre 8,5 milioni di unità, che si è rivelato con un intrigante presenza stilistica e inedite soluzioni tecnologiche.

Infine l annunciata anteprima della nuova Prius a Los Angeles 2018, pronta a ridefinire nuovamente il mondo Hybrid di cui è capostipite ed emblema.

New Jeep Wrangler Jeep celebrates the fourth generation of four-wheel drive vehicles boasting the very best off-road performance. The new Wrangler is also ideal for everyday city driving thanks to its optimum comfort levels, authentic Wrangler style and technological equipment with cutting edge resolutions.

Wrangler anticipates two advanced traction systems (Command-Trac and Rock-Trac), electric blocking of the Tru-Lock differentials, limited slip differential Trac-Lok and front stabiliser bar with electronic disconnection. The engine range of the new Wrangler introduces two important innovations – a 2.2 litre turbo diesel and a 2.0 litre turbo petrol. Both the new engines are paired with the eight-speed automatic transmission.

Hyundai i30 N novità iridata

Abbiamo visto lottare la Hyundai i30 N TCR per tutto l anno, fino a conquistare il titolo inaugurale della FIA World Touring Car Cup. Una testimonianza del duro lavoro e della dedizione profuse da tutti in Hyundai Motorsport, portato a coronamento dal pilota italiano Gabriele Tarquini e sottolineato dal piazzamento di altre due vetture gemelle al secondo e quarto posto della classifica finale. Un risultato che porta ancora più emozione all esuberante sensazione di guidare la versione stradale di Hyundai i30 N, che garantirà divertimento a tutti gli appassionati, grazie ad un handling unico e il motore che accelera il battito del guidatore, con una potenza di 250 cavalli nella versione standard o di 275 cavalli nella versione Performance. Già disponibile in versione 2 volumi, entro la fine del 2018 sarà affiancata anche dalla filante versione Fastback N.

Nuova Fiat 500X MY2019

La 500X, il crossover italiano di casa Fiat, si rinnova completamente con tante novità estetiche e tecnologiche. La 500X è già protagonista in Italia nel suo segmento, dove detiene la leadership nella categoria, e in Europa dove dal 2016 si attesta stabilmente nella top 5 delle vetture più vendute nel proprio segmento. Le linee della nuova Fiat 500X non sono state stravolte. I fari e gli interni hanno subìto un aggiornamento estetico. Gli interni presentano un cruscotto con grafiche aggiornate, mentre al centro della plancia è presente un display da 7 pollici dell infotainment Uconnect.

Nuova BMW X7

La BMW X7 è l ultimo e più grande modello della famiglia BMW X e apporta una nuova percezione di spazio nel segmento del lusso. La tecnologia Powertrain e Chassis della BMW X7 assicura performance da fuoristrada, il comfort di guida superiore e la maneggevolezza su strada per cui i SAV sono rinomati.

L aggiunta della BMW X7 alla gamma BMW X fa parte dell offensiva di prodotto del BMW Group nel segmento del lusso. La BMW X7 sarà costruita nello stabilimento BMW di Spartanburg negli Stati Uniti e il suo lancio sul mercato è previsto per marzo 2019.

Nuovo Kia Sportage

Kia Sportage, il best seller Kia in Europa, si aggiorna nel design, esterno ed interno, arricchito con nuove tecnologie. Con il nuovo sistema Mild-Hybrid diesel 48 volt applicato anche a Sportage, Kia diventa il primo produttore a offrire sul mercato una gamma ibrida, Plug-in ibrida, Mild-Hybrid ed elettrica. Nel 2017 sono stati più di 131mila gli esemplari di Sportage venduti in Europa, un dato che da solo rappresenta un quarto delle vendite totali europee del marchio.

Il debutto della tecnologia Mild-Hybrid su Sportage consente a Kia di offrire motori diesel più puliti ed efficienti, oltre che più piacevoli da utilizzare.

The BMW X7 is the latest and largest model within the BMW X family and brings a totally new perception of space to the luxury sector. The Powertrain and Chassis technology of the BMW X7 assures off-road performance, with the superior driving comfort and road handling for which the SAVs are renowned. The supplementing of the BMW X7 to the BMW X range forms part of the offensive by products within the BMW Group’s luxury sector. The BMW X7 will be constructed at the BMW Spartanburg plant in the United States and will be launched onto the market in March 2019.

Nuova BMW S 1000 RR

La nuova BMW S 1000 RR ha fatto il suo debutto ad EICMA 2018. Con un motore e delle sospensioni profondamente rinnovati, una potenza cresciuta di 6 kW (8 cv) fino a 152 kW (207 cv) (negli USA: 151 kW (205 cv) e un peso ridotto da 208 a 197 kg (193,5 con l M Package), la supersportiva lanciata per la prima volta nel 2009 entra nella sua terza e completamente rinnovata generazione. Oltre all incremento di performance, gli altri obiettivi erano di rendere la nuova RR almeno un secondo più veloce rispetto alla sua precedente versione, creare un design più vicino alle necessità del pilota ed assicurare il massimo controllo e guidabilità.

Sia nell uso quotidiano, che tra le curve delle strade di campagna o nella guida ad alte prestazioni in pista, la nuova RR non lascia mai a desiderare. Specialmente perché BMW Motorrad ha portato i sistemi di assistenza, come i controlli di trazione, l anti-impennata, l ABS e l Hill Start Control, ad un livello completamente nuovo; lo stesso vale per il nuovo sistema di illuminazione a LED e per l ampio schermo TFT.

New BMW S 1000 RR The new BMW S 1000 RR made its debut at EICMA 2018. With a seriously modernised engine and suspension, an increase in power of 6kW (8hp) up to 152 kW (207 hp) (in the USA: 151 kW (205 hp) and a weight reduction from 208 to 197 kg (193.5 with I’M package), the supersports model launched for the first time in 2009 is entering its third and entirely renewed generation. Over and above the increase in performance, the other objectives were to make the new RR at least a second faster with respect to its previous version, to create a design closer to the driver’s needs and to ensure maximum control and manoeuvrability. Whether in everyday mode, or along winding country roads or high performance driving on the track, the new RR leaves nothing to be desired. NEW OPENING LEXUS AT MILAN 2019 for the Autotorino Group started early. Or more precisely on the 23rd November, at Busto Arsizio where some rather diverse concurrences came to be symbolically united.

The new Lexus showroom was inaugurated, enlightened by some extremely refined hospitality standards, in an event that celebrated both the 20th birthday of the arrival of the 100% Japanese hybrid premium brand in the city of Varese, and the preview of the new compact SUV Lexus UX, unveiling for those assembled one of only four examples present in Italy.

A date that has anticipated the baptism of the first cross-over compact made in Lexus, obviously with Self Charging Hybrid technology, whose Italian launch is scheduled for the first quarter of 2019, but which has also created a perfect bridge for the two new nascent entities under the double Autotorino Lexus banner: the service experience dedicated to customers of the premium Japanese brand now extends to the city of Milan, in two competitive localities capable of serving the entire city.

In the Lombardy capital from October, the Autotorino Group is the official Lexus sales and service Dealership in Milan, becoming the reference point for the choice of hybrid mobility in its maximum expression of technology, style and quality. Per Carlotta Cambi, classe 1996, il 2018 è un anno denso di significato. Da un argento mondiale giunto contro ogni pronostico, a capitano nella stagione che sancisce l avvio del nuovo corso del Volley Bergamo, da quest anno sotto le insegne Zanetti Formaggi.

Dopo Casalmaggiore, Pesaro e Novara, dopo aver vinto Campionati Italiani e Champions League, approda a Bergamo ora che le storiche insegne Foppapedretti lasciano spazio sulle maglie ad un nuovo sponsor. Sento l arrivo nella nuova società e nella nuova città con grande responsabilità - commenta Carlotta -.

Stiamo parlando di una realtà dall immensa storia sportiva, dalla quale ricevo la fascia di capitano all inizio di un campionato che si avvia con tanto entusiasmo e desiderio di riscatto .

Un punto d arrivo prestigioso per chi, come Carlotta Cambi, sin da piccolina è cresciuta respirando il volley.

Genitori e fratello giocatori: Da piccola - ricorda - mi accudivano i nonni e io aspettavo solo di veder tornare mamma e papà con il borsone la sera tardi. Non ci volle molto perché pronunciassi il fatidico voglio tornare col borsone come voi . Avevo quattro anni e i miei genitori mi iscrissero all ASD Montopoli, Val d Arno: ero sotto

l età minima, mi accettarono comunque tra i più piccini. I miei genitori, sotto sotto, si aspettavano che questa disparità anagrafica avrebbe messo presto la parola fine al mio approccio alla pallavolo .

La storia, invece, si è scritta in direzione completamente opposta: Ho subito imparato a mettercela tutta, senza aver mai timore d esser la più piccola della classe.

Crescendo, questo si è rivelato essere fondamentale nell approccio a tante situazioni .

Come quando a 15 anni avvenne il salto di qualità. Era l anno 2011-12 e decisi di intraprendere un percorso in un team che mi potesse consentire una crescita sportiva. Per la prima volta avrei vissuto lontana da casa, in modo indipendente. I miei genitori mi fecero analizzare bene i pro ed i contro della situazione e a cosa sarei andata incontro. Io dissi sono pronta . Mi trovai proiettata al Volleyrò Casal De Pazzi, a Roma. Scuola il mattino, quattro ore al giorno di allenamento, e in campo passai da attaccante a palleggiatrice. Nei primi mesi di ambientamento e sacrifici, qualche lacrima mi ha fatto comprendere appieno cosa volessero dire i miei genitori. Ma nel tempo ho visto esempi di giocatrici da cui ho appreso un insegnamento importante: lo spirito di sacrificio e la dedizione portano i loro frutti e i successi .

Ci volle poco, però, perché Carlotta fosse convocata in Nazionale per l europeo junior. Da allora sempre azzurra, sino alle radicali emozioni che l hanno accompagnata alla finale giapponese dell ottobre 2018: Avevo impressa nella mente la finale del mondiale di calcio del 2006. Pensare di essere nella stessa situazione ma nel mio sport, è stato davvero forte.

Peccato non aver coronato allo stesso modo il nostro percorso, partito sapendo che nessuno avrebbe scommesso di essere nel final 6. Ma ci siamo messe tutte in gioco al cento per cento, e ciò è valso un argento incredibile .

E fuori dal campo, come ritemprarsi?

Mi piace viaggiare, visitare soprattutto le città d Italia.

San Gimignano, ad esempio, è uno dei miei luoghi del cuore. Il lunedì spesso con mamma programmo piccole gite, godendo la libertà e la fruibilità al di fuori degli schemi e dai picchi canonici del turismo.

Mi piace sentire il contatto più autentico che così si può vivere con i luoghi, i monumenti e le attrazioni.

Uno dei vantaggi di questi viaggetti con mamma è che non devo litigare per guidare.

Mi piace molto e non cederei il volante per nulla ed a nessuno: chiedete al mio ragazzo quante discussioni! .

CARLOTTA CAMBI THE SILVER CAPTAIN From a world silver which was gained against all odds, Captain in a season which marks the start of a new lease of life for Volley Bergamo, from this season under the Zanetti Formaggi emblems. For Carlotta Cambi 2018 was a highly significant year.

After Casalmaggiore, Pesaro and Novara, and having won the Italian Championship and the Champions League, landing up at Bergamo in the year in which the legendary Foppapedretti has left room on the shirts to accommodate a new sponsor, “I take my arrival in a new squad and in a new city as a huge responsibility” comments Carlotta, “We are talking about an entity with an immense sporting history, of which I am receiving the captain’s armband at the beginning of a championship which takes off with much enthusiasm and expectation”.

It’s a highly prestigious journey’s end for someone, like Carlotta Cambi, who has lived and breathed volley since she was tiny. Parents and brother were all players: “As a child” she remembers, “my grandparents would take care of me and I had to wait for mum and dad to come back with their

kit bag late in the evening. It wasn’t long before I was declaring the fateful “I want to come back with a kit bag like you do”. I was only four when my parents enrolled me at ASD Montopoli, Val d’Arno: I was under the minimum age, but they still accepted me amongst the other little ones. Secretly I think people expected that this disparity would soon put an end to my interest in volleyball”.

The story, however, was to develop in a completely opposite direction: “I learned immediately to give it everything, without ever worrying about being the smallest in the group.

Growing up, this has proved fundamental to my approach to all manner of situations”.

Like when at 15 a significant breakthrough occurred. “It was in 2011-12 and I decided to embark on a path with a team which would permit considerable sporting opportunities. For the first time I would be living far from home and independently. My parents invited me to consider the pros and cons, and all that it would mean. I said “I’m ready”. I found myself thrust into Volleyro Casal De Pazzi, at Rome. School in the morning, four hours training a day and on the pitch I went

from attacker to dribbler. In the first few months of settling in and undergoing certain hardships, a few tears made me understand clearly what my parents had meant. But over time I’ve seen examples of players from whom I’ve learnt some important lessons: the spirit of sacrifice and dedication bear fruit and bring success”.

And it didn’t take long, because Carlotta was called up to the National squad for the Junior Europeans. Ever since it’s been blue all the way, right up to the emotional scenes which accompanied that Japanese final in October 2018: “I had in mind the football World Cup final of 2006. To consider being in that very same situation but in my own sport was really significant. Too bad not to have crowned it all in the same manner, but we had set off knowing that nobody backed us even to be in the last 6. But we all gave absolutely everything, 100%, and we were rewarded with an incredible silver”.

And off the pitch, how do you relax/recharge?

“I like travelling, especially visiting different Italian cities. San Gimignano for example is one of my favourite spots. On Mondays I often plan outings with my mum, enjoying the freedom and possibilities outside of the standard and routine tourist trappings. I like to make genuine contact and see how other places tick, along with their monuments and other attractions. One of the advantages of these trips out with mum is that I don’t have a battle about who drives. I love it and won’t surrender the steering wheel to anyone: ask my bloke about our regular “debates!”.

La formula è ancora più vincente quando la si abbina ad eventi dal grande valore esperienziale. È ciò che è avvenuto in occasione della manifestazione sportiva Valtellina Wine Trail, la grande corsa tra i vigneti terrazzati, che a novembre ha permesso di sperimentare a Sondrio questo progetto unico in Italia, inserito in una rete di eventi innovativi promossi a livello nazionale da Mercedes-Benz.

TEMPORARY SHOWROOM NEW CLASS A The temporary showroom represents an outstanding opportunity to break free from the constraints of the dealership scenario, and to arrange the brand’s message in rather unusual contexts. It’s an even more compelling formula when it’s coordinated alongside important events of considerable experiential value. Precisely what occurred during the Valtellina Wine trail – the prestigious race amongst the terraced vineyards which in November saw the very first Temporary Mercedes-Benz Showroom, representing a project unique in the whole of Italy, during which Mercedes-Benz Italy interpolated promotions of a genuinely National level in a network of innovative events. The themes communicated by the Autotorino Group concerned matters related to technological innovation and driving safety. The “Mercedes-Benz Temporary Showroom” was in fact a welcoming area enclosed in a “display case” design, and situated in the central piazza Garibaldi. Over a ten day period it became a welcoming place for the public assuming immediately both an interactive and innovatory dimension by using the example of the New Class A, kitted out with cutting edge man-machine interaction technology systems. A structure which occupied the people’s very “living room” in Sondrio, whilst also creating a moment of genuinely special hospitality when, at this “Temporary” station, the delegation of athletes signed up for the Valtellina Wine Trail hailing from Sindelfingen gathered there together, a town twinned with Sondrio and of course a historic production venue of Mercedes-Benz

Una struttura che ha impreziosito il salotto cittadino di Sondrio, creando anche un momento di particolare ospitalità quando, presso il Temporary , si è riunita la delegazione di runner iscritti alla Valtellina Wine Trail provenienti da Sindelfingen, città gemellata con Sondrio e storico distretto produttivo della Stella.

LA CERTOSA DI PAVIA LUOGO UNICO AL MONDO

Immerso nelle campagne che circondano Pavia, a pochi chilometri dal centro cittadino, sorge uno dei massimi capolavori italiani del Rinascimento: la Certosa. Questo luogo venne fatto costruire da Gian Galeazzo Visconti, nel 1396. Nel suo intento la Certosa sarebbe dovuta diventare la cappella di famiglia, collegata al castello tramite il Parco Visconteo.

Come arrivare La primavera è il momento ideale per visitare la Certosa. Per chi arriva in auto, si deve percorrere la SS 35 fino a Pavia.

Da qui si segue il lungo viale che porta alla Certosa. La visita impegna almeno un paio d ore e comincia dalla chiesa con la facciata in stile gotico e i magnifici pinnacoli. L impatto con questo capolavoro rinascimentale lascia senza parole. Sono visitabili anche le celle usate dai monaci nei secoli passati, dotate di stanza da letto, dispensa, studio e piccolo giardino.

La chiesa La chiesa ha pianta a croce latina divisa in tre navate ed è ispirata, seppure in scala ridotta, alle proporzioni del Duomo di Milano. In origine venne affidata alla comunità certosina, passando successivamente a quella cistercense e, infine, anche quella benedettina. Dopo l unificazione del Regno d Italia, la Certosa fu dichiarata nel 1866 monumento nazionale. La chiesa era destinata a divenire mausoleo dinastico dei Duchi di Milano. La navata fu progettata in stile gotico e la sua costruzione fu completata nel 1465. Il 3 maggio 1497 la Chiesa venne ufficialmente consacrata dal nunzio pontificio, ma la parte inferiore della facciata fu completata solo nel 1507. La facciata della Certosa venne decorata con una serie di medaglioni che ritraggono personaggi ‒ storici o leggendari ‒ dell antichità.

THE CERTOSA AT PAVIA A SHORT DISTANCE FROM THE CENTRE STANDS A PLACE UNIQUE TO THE WORLD Immersed in the countryside surrounding Pavia, just a few kilometres from the city centre stands one of the greatest of all Italian Renaissance masterpieces: the Certosa. It was constructed by Gian Galeazzo Visconti, in 1396. His intent was that it become the family Chapel, connected to the castle by the Visconti Park.

Spring is the ideal period in which to visit the Certosa. For those arriving by car, follow the SS 35 as far as Pavia. From here take the long avenue which brings you pretty much to the door of the chapel. A visit will involve a couple of hours at least and starts from the church with its Gothic façade and magnificent pinnacles. The very impact of this Renaissance tour de force is likely to render you speechless. You can also visit the cells occupied by monks over the centuries, equipped with bedroom, pantry, a study and small garden.

The Church has a Latin cross design divided into three naves and was ORARI DELLA CHIESA inspired, albeit on a more modest scale, by a clear correspondence E DEL COMPLESSO CERTOSINO with the Duomo di Milano. Originally it was entrusted to the Carthusian Apertura al pubblico community, passing later to the Cistercian and then finally that of the Aprile - Settembre 9 - 11.30 e 14.30 - 18 Benedictines. After the Unification of Italy the Certosa was declared, Ottobre - Marzo 9 - 11.30 e 14.30 - 17 in 1866, a national monument. Il terzo Innovation Day, organizzato dal Polo della Cosmesi l 8 novembre 2018 con oltre 400 partecipanti, ha animato più di 300 incontri B2B presso i 37 desk espositivi allestiti all interno dello showroom cremasco.

Numeri non casuali, considerando i dati emersi dallo studio condotto da The European House ‒ Ambrosetti sull industria della cosmesi e qui presentati in anteprima. Quella della cosmesi è una filiera che vale 10 miliardi di fatturato per il Paese e che vede il 70% delle aziende in Lombardia, con Crema in testa. Da questo studio è emersa una puntuale e articolata fotografia del settore che solo nel Cremasco registra 4,4 miliardi di fatturato grazie a 450 imprese , ha spiegato Valerio De Molli managing partner e amministratore delegato di The European House ‒ Ambrosetti S.p.A., intervenuto nella tavola rotonda principale della giornata.

INNOVATION DAY AT CREMA The very heart of the national cosmetics industry met up for a day at the BMW MINI Autotorino subsidiary at Crema. It represented the third Innovation Day, organised by Polo of Cosmetics on the 8 th November 2018, attended by more than 400 participants, who were to inspire more than 300 BtoB meetings at the 37 exhibition desks set up within the company showroom at Crema.

By no means unpremeditated numbers either, considering data emerging from a study conducted by “The European House – Ambrosetti” on the cosmetics industry and presented here in a preview. The cosmetic industry chain is valued at a 10 billion turnover for the country and sees 70% of the companies actually here in Lombardy, with Crema at the helm. The study accurately presents a precise and detailed picture of the sector which “within the Crema region alone there is a 4.4 billion turnover thanks to a total of 450 companies”, explained Valerio De Molli Partner and Managing Director of The European House – Ambrosetti W.p.A., participating at the key round table discussion of the day.

Fondata nel 1909 con la denominazione di Società Calcistica Jucunditas Carpi, diventa nel 1919 Associazione Calcio Carpi e nel 2002 si trasforma in Carpi Football Club 1909. Nel 2015 la società ha festeggiato la prima, storica, promozione in Serie A. Un momento indimenticabile, che ha portato la società a confrontarsi con le più grandi formazioni italiane. The story of this club is a quite extraordinary one, all built on the dedication of its leaders and supporters. Founded in 1909 under the name of Società Calcistica Jucunditas Carpi, in 1919 it was to become the Associazione Calcio Carpi and in 2002 finally Carpi Football Club 1909. 2015 saw the Club celebrating its first, historic promotion to Serie A. Parma Football 1913 bears the weight of the legacy of a major football club which under the name of Parma has represented the territory for over a century. In 1913 the Verdi Football Club was founded, dedicated to the great composer Giuseppe Verdi.

Ever since, the successes and achievements have been manifold: 3 Italian Cups, 2 Uefa Cups, 1 Coppa delle Coppe, 1 Italian Supercup and 1 European Supercup. In the 2015-2016 season Parma Calcio 1913 made its final professional gambit with the adoption of Parma FC Spa and started again in the National Amateur League with the first team occupying a place in Serie D. It proved to be the beginning of a new start for a Club which, given its long history, has brought it right back to gain the respectability and status that it deserves.

LA BOUTIQUE DEL VERBANO È stato un giorno di festa quello vissuto il 27 settembre alla filiale Autotorino BMW MINI di Verbania.

In un atmosfera di convivialità, alimentata dai tanti amici che hanno risposto all invito del responsabile Marco Pasetti e dal suo team, si è svolta la serata d inaugurazione dello showroom rinnovato nei suoi spazi.

Da tre anni Gruppo Autotorino è approdato sulle sponde del Lago Maggiore, in una delle sue più belle località, entrando in empatia con i residenti e il pubblico.

Oggi è un riferimento consolidato per chi guida BMW e MINI, grazie anche alle opportunità che l offerta multi-brand del Gruppo ha saputo offrire. Gli spazi moderni della concessionaria aprono le porte al pubblico con nuovi standard di comfort e accoglienza.

Uno stile di alto livello, proposto sia a chi si rivolge al service ufficiale BMW e MINI, che a chi valuta l ac-

quisto della propria vettura. Il tutto in un clima che fa sentire tutti a casa propria.

Per il Responsabile Marco Pasetti la fine dei lavori di ristrutturazione della filiale ha rappresentato il compimento di un sogno. Mi sono trasferito a Verbania nel 1999 per iniziare a lavorare proprio in questa struttura. Con l arrivo di Autotorino è iniziato un percorso di crescita e rafforzamento dell organico, che ci ha portato ad essere oggi in 10 persone, di cui 6 dedicate al Service. Ciò che più ci fa sentire orgogliosi è il fatto di poter oggi accogliere i clienti in ambienti che rispondono nell atmosfera alla qualità che qui tutti i giorni ogni persona esprime nel proprio lavoro.

La filiale di Verbania è diventata una piccola boutique, tutto si rilancia con nuove e più forti motivazioni: vediamo realizzato quello che sognavamo di poter offrire al pubblico da tempo .

In an atmosphere of fulsome good humour, cultivated by the many friends who had responded to an invitation from manager Marco Pasetti and his team, the evening featured the inauguration of the new showroom, with its splendidly refurbished expanses.

It’s three years now since Autotorino landed up on the shores of lake Maggiore, in one of its classically beautiful locations, immediately connecting with both local and the public in general.

Today it is a recognised reference point for anyone who drives BMW or MINI, thanks also to the opportunities that the Group’s multi-brand approach has been able to offer. The modern spaces that the dealership provides means that the doors are open to new standards of comfort and hospitality. A style of the very highest order, providing an invitation to both those who turn towards the official BMW and MINI services, or alternatively those who simply appreciate quality service when buying a car. And all within an environment where everyone feels at home.

For Manager Marco Pasetti the completion of the refurbishment of the branch represented the fulfilment of a dream. “I moved to Verbania in 1999 and started my working life right here. The arrival of Autotorino initiated a path of genuine growth and a consolidation of the workforce, which has led us to a personnel of 10 today, of which six are dedicated to service. What makes us feel particularly proud is to be able to welcome customers within an ambience that reflects an atmosphere in which a search for quality is expressed each day by every member of the team. The Verbania branch has become a little boutique, everything is promoted with new and stronger motivating forces: we are fulfilling all that we dreamed of being able to offer to the public over the years”.

L’IMPORTANZA DI UN GESTO La mission di Cancro Primo Aiuto è riassunta nel Progetto Parrucche , checonsente a donne sottoposte a chemioterapia di richiedere gratuitamente una parrucca, con l auspicio di donare un po di serenità con un gesto semplice.

Nato nel 2009 all Ospedale di Sondalo, in Valtellina, il progetto si è esteso velocemente a tutta Lombardia perché da subito ha avuto un elevato numero di richieste, a dimostrazione di come una parrucca possa aiutare giovare alla riduzione del trauma, in caso di perdita dei capelli.

Cancro Primo Aiuto ha stretto un accordo con un importante produttore di parrucche, che ha realizzato un catalogo dedicato che propone una trentina di modelli, con tagli e colori diversi secondo le preferenze delle persone che si rivolgono ai centri della ONLUS. Contemporaneamente sono cresciute le strutture ospedaliere che hanno creato uno spazio dove le pazienti vengono consigliate e sostenute, anche da esperti acconciatori che si prestano spontaneamente, insieme alle volontarie delle associazioni che collaborano con Cancro Primo Aiuto, nella scelta della parrucca, del modello e del colore, in maniera da rendere più piacevole questo impegno.

Per poter mettere a disposizione il progetto anche alle donne che sono in cura presso strutture sanitarie dove questo servizio non esiste, a Seregno è stato aperto un Centro Parrucche. A fine 2014 anche la Regione Lombardia ha riconosciuto il valore della parrucca nel cammino verso la guarigione di una donna, così ha deliberato di sostenere le iniziative come quella di Cancro Primo Aiuto attraverso uno specifico contributo economico.

Un percorso che, ad oggi, ha permesso di distribuire gratuitamente oltre 10.000 parrucche.

SOCIAL THE IMPORTANCE OF A GESTURE The mission of Cancro Primo Aiuto can be seen to be encapsulated within Progetto Parrucche, which facilitates women undergoing chemotherapy to request a wig absolutely free of charge, thus enjoying at least a little peace of mind thanks to one simple gesture. Initiated back in 2009 at the hospital at Sondalo, Valtellina, the project quickly spread throughout Lombardy having received a substantial number of requests, demonstrating clearly how a wig can help reduce the trauma of hair loss.

An agreement was then secured with an established wig-producing company, who created a very specific catalogue with around thirty different products, with cuts and colours according to the needs of the patients who attended the Cancro Primo Aiuto centres.

In the meantime hospital facilities expanded, creating a space where patients can be helped and supported, often by expert volunteer hairdressers, alongside other regular volunteers from associations who collaborate with Cancro Primo Aiuto. They can advise on the choice of wig, style and colour, to everyone’s satisfaction.

TRE CAMPIONI FISI CON CANCRO PRIMO AIUTO Il binomio sport e solidarietà si rafforza anche nella collaborazione tra Cancro Primo Aiuto e la FISI - Federazione Italiana Sport Invernali.

Per la stagione 2018/19, infatti, lavoreranno insieme sulle piste della Lombardia per dar vita a diverse iniziative, prima fra tutte il Memorial Walter Fontana che festeggia la sua 25a edizione: si tratta del circuito più importante e partecipato dello sci alpino, riservato ai giovani a livello europeo. Collaborazione che da quest anno prende il volto di tre atleti FISI che partecipano alla Coppa del Mondo: Peter Fill, Elena Fanchini e Francesca Marsaglia saranno testimonial di Cancro Primo Aiuto.

The 48 hours of “Service Day” organised by Quintegia and AsconAuto put the entire after-sales, service and repair area under the serious spotlight in Brescia.

It’s a segment within the auto sector in Italy weighing in at around 30 billion euro and which assumes a pivotal value.

An impressive delegation of Autotorino’s Post-Sales team, led by Manager Sandro Ferrari, participated in 25 themed appointments designated within the programme, aimed at investigating managerial aspects, customer relations, from marketing to human resources and to the enormous challenge of digitalisation.

SORRISO NEL MONDO Progetto Sorriso nel Mondo Onlus è un associazione internazionale impegnata nel trattamento e nella cura delle malformazioni cranio-facciali infantili.

Opera in molteplici Paesi in difficoltà tra cui Bangladesh e Repubblica Democratica del Congo.

La storia di questa Associazione risale al 1997. Un gruppo di chirurghi, anestesisti e infermieri volontari decise di mettere le proprie competenze specialistiche a disposizione dei più bisognosi. Da allora, ogni anno queste persone tornano nelle stesse strutture per dare speranza a centinaia di persone prive di mezzi economici. Le malformazioni del viso sono tra i difetti congeniti più frequenti a livello mondiale e colpiscono, in media, un bambino su mille. Nei Paesi evoluti, vengono trattate a pochi mesi di vita e l impressione dell uomo comune è che non esistano più.

Nei Paesi a basse risorse, invece, mancano mezzi e competenze e, di fatto, non vengono trattate adeguatamente. Troppo spesso costituiscono motivo di emarginazione e di abbandono per i piccoli e per le loro madri.

Nel corso degli anni il nostro contributo si è via via esteso racconta Andrea Di Francesco, presidente e socio co-fondatore della Onlus, responsabile dell Unità Operativa Semplice di Chirurgia Maxillo-Facciale Pediatrica presso l ASST Lariana - Ospedale Sant Anna di Como.

Abbiamo avviato vari progetti rivolti a migliorare la qualità della vita delle persone nelle regioni in cui operiamo. Contribuiamo alla realizzazione di iniziative socio-sanitarie, come la costruzione di impianti fotovoltaici, o la fornitura di apparecchi per la produzione del disinfettante ipoclorito di sodio. Sono opere per le quali ci rimbocchiamo le maniche noi stessi, coinvolgendo negli anni tanti amici e sostenitori. È un esperienza che segna profondamente e che genera il desiderio di tornare in quei luoghi lontani per fare ancora qualcosa in più, mettendo a disposizione tempo, lavoro e risorse .

A SMILING WORLD Progetto Sorriso nel Mondo Onlus is an International organisation engaged in the treatment and remedy of infantile craniafacial malformations. It operates within many countries facing difficulties including Bangladesh and the Democratic Republic of Congo.The history of the Association dates back to 1997. A group of surgeons, anaesthetists and volunteer nurses decided to put their specialist skills at the disposal of the most needy. Since then, every year these very same people return to these places to give hope to many hundreds of people without economic means. Facial malformations are among the most common birth defects worldwide and will affect, on average, one child in a thousand. In developed countries they are treated within a few months of life and there is a general belief that the problem no longer exists. In low-resource countries however, facilities and skills are lacking, and remedial action is therefore not forthcoming. All too often they represent grounds for marginalisation for the little ones and their mothers.

“Over the years our contribution has been extended” explains Andrea Di Francesco – President and co-founding Partner of the non-profit organisation – and Head of the Simple Operative Unit of Pediatric Maxillo-Facciale Surgery of the Lariana Health Care and the Ospedale Sant’Anna at Como, “we have launched a range of projects aimed at improving the quality of life in the villages in which we operate. We contribute to the construction of wells and solar installations. It’s work requiring us to roll up our own sleeves, and has co-involved many friends and supporters over the years. It’s an experience which leaves a profound mark and which engenders the desire to return time and again to those distant places to do even more, by providing time, application and resources”.

Autotorino too supports Progetto Sorriso nel Mondo Onlus. The Autotorino branch at Olginate is an active participant in the Charity event which supports the activities of the Onlus, making a valuable contribution to this quite extraordinarily worthwhile enterprise.

Si vive un sogno al volante per un giorno, ma si creano sinceri rapporti umani che restano ha commentato soddisfatto Tito Monti, responsabile della filiale Mercedes-Benz Autotorino di Luisago.

Dalla Brianza comasca, la carovana ha percorso il tracciato misto che scavalca, tagliando in quota, il promontorio di Bellagio, per poi ridiscendere a Lecco. A seguire, i bolidi AMG si sono espressi al meglio lungo i rettilinei della Superstrada del Lago di Como e dello Spluga, fino all arrivo all azienda agrituristica La Fiorida di Mantello (SO), per una conclusione conviviale tra lo scambio delle sensazioni ancora calde della strada appena percorsa.

AMG TOUR OF LAKE COMO The trip from Como to Valtellina can represent a short stretch. But if you combine a clutch of car enthusiasts with a convoy of 12 dream car Mercedes-Benz AMG, it becomes perfectly natural to look for the longest and most stimulating route imaginable. This proved to be the case on the occasion of the AMG Performance Tour organised by Autotorino in November, leaving from the branch at Luisago.

Made welcome by a procession of powerful cars with an obvious AMG signature, the lucky customers involved in this jolly jaunt found themselves in the midst of an extraordinary journey, which involved an impressive parade along the curvatures of Lake Como itself.

“The start-up of the engines was one of the most anticipated signals by all concerned. It was the first of many very special moments for all participants, emotions to be revisited in times to come. You live that dream for a day, but you create genuine human relationships that live on” affirmed a satisfied Tito Monti, Manager of the Luisago branch of Mercedes-Benz Autotorino.

From the Brianza side of Como, the “caravan” took on a diverse trail which incorporated climbing towards the Bellagio promontory before coming back down to Lecco. And following that the AMG racers were seen at their very best along the highways of Lake Como and towards Valle Spluga, before finally reaching the La Fiorida holiday farm at Mantello (SO) for an appropriately convivial conclusion involving exchanges of emotions still animated about the journey just experienced

OXFORD NEL CUORE DEL MITO

MINI segnò una rivoluzione nel panorama automobilistico con la sua apparizione nel 1959. Nata dalla mente di Alec Issigonis, MINI da sempre non è solo una semplice vettura, ma è espressione di uno modo d essere estroverso e spontaneo, fedele nei confronti del cuore britannico che continua a pulsare dall impianto produttivo di Oxford.

Il Club Be MINI Como è andato a visitare questo cuore: complice un viaggio vinto dai suoi iscritti Carmen e Christian in occasione del raduno svoltosi lo scorso Giugno, una nutrita delegazione ha voluto accompagnarli e toccare le radici di questa icona dell auto e del costume.

Un weekend londinese intenso nelle tappe e nelle emozioni, durante il quale la delegazione del Club è stata accompagnata in una visita guidata alle linee dello stabilimento, per poi immergersi nelle inconfondibili atmosfere british della città e dei panorami circostanti.

Manuel Levato, presidente del Club reduce dall esperienza, non nasconde tutto il trasporto per quanto vissuto: Nel mondo MINI di Autotorino un contratto non conclude una formalità ma inizia una relazione tra persone.

Perché guidare una MINI non è una moda e per noi del Be MINI Como è uno stile di vita, una parte di noi.

Questo è stato un viaggio davvero nel cuore della nostra passione, una passione che non conosce età, e che ci ha affascinato nel vedere i processi e le tecnologie da cui nascono le nostre vetture, ma che soprattutto ci ha permesso di vivere un salto nella storia del mito .

AT THE HEART OF A LEGEND MINI marked a revolution in the automotive scenario with its appearance in1959. The brainchild of Alec Issigonis, MINI is an expression of an extrovert and spontaneous way of being, faithful to the very heart of British competition, and which continues to beat within the manufacturing plant at Oxford.

The Be Mini Club at Como actually went to pay a visit. It involved a trip duly won by members Carmen and Christian, on the occasion of a rally held in June, following which a large delegation was keen to accompany the pair and touch base with this iconic vehicle in all its pomp and tradition. What followed was a full-on weekend in the capital, during which the Club representatives were accompanied on a guided tour of the factory lines, before immersing themselves in the unmistakeable British atmosphere of London and its surrounding delights. Manuel Levato, President of the Club and recently back from the trip didn’t hide his enjoyment for all that had he’d experienced: “In Autotorino’s MINI world a contract is not a simple conclusive formality, but the beginning of a relationship between people. Because driving a MINI is not a mere fashion but for us at Be MINI Como it’s a lifestyle, a part of us. This was a pilgrimage to the very heart of our passion, one that knows no age and which proved genuinely captivating to see the processes and technology involved in their production”.

BATTESIMO OFF-ROAD

Nel weekend del suo lancio in concessionaria, il Club Jeep Autotorino ha voluto portare subito la Nuova Jeep Wrangler nel suo habitat naturale. L occasione è stata l annuale festa dell Autotorino Off-Road, evento atteso dagli appassionati del Marchio Jeep, impegnati nell affascinante traversata delle Alpi Orobie, da Foppolo alla Valtellina. Una carovana numerosa come non mai ha celebrato questo festoso appuntamento, riunendo 200 partecipanti a bordo di una colonna di 80 Jeep che ha sfidato i duemila metri del Passo Dordona e l arcigno tracciato che lo attraversa.

Dopo il ritrovo di buon mattino alla Concessionaria Autotorino Jeep di Curno (BG), la carovana si è trasferita dapprima a Foppolo (BG) per poi puntare il Passo Dordona, ridiscenderne il versante valtellinese sino a Fusine (SO) e darsi infine appuntamento all Azienda Agrituristica La Fiorida di Mantello. La Nuova Jeep Wrangler porta in dote l introduzione di accorgimenti di progettazione meccanica e di allestimento, oltre che di stile, che la rendono più sfruttabile nell uso quotidiano. La prova in questo tragitto alpino, a tratti aspro, ha ribadito tutto il potenziale inarrestabile che ha reso questo modello, erede del mito Willis, icona del fuoristrada.

Durante il momento conviviale, il saluto di Plinio Vanini - Presidente del Gruppo Autotorino - rivolto ai partecipanti che come tutti noi di Autotorino portano nel cuore il Marchio Jeep, perché ne sentiamo nostro lo spirito di libertà ed avventura, che amiamo vivere in occasioni come queste, per rinnovarlo e continuare a respirarlo ad ogni viaggio . CLUB LIFE OFF-ROAD BAPTISM FOR JEEP WRANGLER On the weekend of its launch in the dealerships, the Jeep Autotorino Club were keen to immediately transport the New Jeep Wrangler to its natural habitat. The obvious option was the annual off-road Autotorino festival, a much-anticipated event by all Jeep Brand enthusiasts, involving an exhilarating traverse of the Alpi Orobie, from Foppolo to Valtellina. An impressive convoy as never seen before celebrated this celebratory appointment, bringing together 200 participants on board a column of 80 Jeep which took on the 2000 metres of the Dordona Pass and the challenging track which runs through it.

After an early morning meeting at the Autotorino Jeep Dealership at Curno (BG), the convoy first moved on to Foppolo (BG) and then to the Dordona Pass, before coming back down the Valtellina side as far as Fusine (SO) and finally kept its appointment with the Azienda Agrituristica La Fiorida at Mantello. The New Jeep Wrangler brings with it innovatory mechanical design and layout arrangements, as well as style, which you can really take advantage of on an everyday basis. It proved a worthy Alpine itinerary, pretty severe at times, during which the overwhelming potential of this new model was duly reaffirmed. Nwwwwwwew Jeep Wrangler successor to the legendary Willis, icon of the off-road scene.

AGRITURISMO

La filosofia produttiva dell Azienda Agricola è improntata al principio del benessere animale ed al rispetto dell ambiente. Dall allevamento delle vacche da latte vengono ricavati i prodotti caseari della tradizione valtellinese a denominazione di origine protetta.

La trasformazione casearia avviene direttamente in Azienda, osservabile direttamente dai visitatori grazie ad un ampio percorso a vista sul caseificio.

Anche i salumi di alta qualità sono prodotti direttamente in azienda, grazie alle carni degli animali qui allevati, come ad esempio i maiali.

La possibilità di riscoprire i sapori di un tempo attraverso formaggi, salumi e specialità locali, ha permesso all Azienda di affiancare all attività produttiva la vendita diretta e la degustazione dei propri prodotti nel tipico Calécc di legno e nello spaccio vendita. Quest ultimo, oltre all esposizione dei prodotti, è caratterizzato da una casera di stagionatura dei formaggi a vista: un particolare che rievoca la tradizione valtellinese negli alpeggi.

La Fiorida garantisce un occasione di svago per tutta la famiglia che può godere, in assoluta tranquillità, dei benefici di un centro benessere con piscina, sala fitness, idromassaggio, bagno turco, vitarium, solarium, doccia aromatica, doccia emozionale, bagni di fieno, bagni di siero, bagni di latte.

Si effettuano trattamenti estetici al viso e al corpo per il benessere.

Non solo, La Fiorida è a cinque minuti di macchina da Morbegno, a dieci minuti da Colico e poco di più da Chiavenna, graziose cittadine dove godersi shopping di qualità passeggiando in centri storici di rara bellezza.

A dare il benvenuto ai nostri ospiti ci sono 29 confortevoli camere per una calda accoglienza. Camere standard, living, junior suite, country chalet e family suite, tutte rigorosamente in sasso e legno di larice.

I ristoranti

All interno dell Azienda Agrituristica La Fiorida potrete scegliere tra due ristoranti. Il Ristorante La Preséf - Stella Michelin - è il punto più alto della ricerca gastronomica a filiera corta, che eleva ai vertici del gusto le produzioni dell azienda. È chiuso la domenica ed il lunedì. Il Ristorante Quattro Stagioni propone invece un interpretazione fantasiosa ed innovativa della cucina tradizionale valtellinese ed esalta le produzioni dell azienda agricola quali carni, formaggi, ortaggi e piccoli frutti. È sempre aperto.

La mezza pensione o la pensione completa, se prevista nel pacchetto scelto, viene proposta nel Ristorante Quattro Stagioni con un menù dedicato alla piccola carta, bevande escluse.

La fattoria

Offre per i bambini, ma anche per gli adulti, la possibilità di un contatto diretto con gli animali (vacche, maiali, asinelli e caprette), percorsi didattici e laboratori per i bambini, miniclub o babysitting.

The holiday farm Agriturismo La Fiorida is situated in lower Valtellina at Mantello, in a particularly striking Alpine area. IL BITTO E LE STELLE La tradizione si rinnova Quella de Il Bitto e le Stelle è una tradizione a cui la grande famiglia che anima La Fiorida tiene particolarmente. Un evento che immerge i suoi tanti ospiti nei temi di un modello di approccio moderno e rispettoso alla natura e alla tradizione.

In una accogliente atmosfera favorita dal clima mite di questo fine settembre 2018, La Fiorida ha aperto il suo percorso attraverso i fienili, le stalle, il macello, il caseificio, l ampia casera per la stagionatura dei formaggi e lo spaccio. Il tutto scandito da soste in cui poter assaporare le produzioni tipiche e caratteristiche dell Azienda Agricola. Punto di ritrovo finale, giardino in cui, novità di quest anno, erano posizionate le isole di degustazione dedicate alle creazioni degli Chef ospiti e dove si è assistito al taglio ed alla degustazione delle forme di Bitto DOP. Diciotto gli Chef ospiti che hanno apposto la loro firma a una sinfonia di variazioni sul tema Bitto : il presidente di Euro-Toques Enrico Derflingher, già al servizio della Casa Bianca e della Corona d Inghilterra e proclamato miglior Chef al mondo, gli stellati Edoardo Fumagalli, Marco Sacco (due Stelle Michelin), Tommaso Arrigoni, Roberto Tonola, Tano Simonato; con loro Fabio Silva, Simone Bonini, Claudio Gatti, Riccardo Lucque, Agie Zhou, Axel Piloni e Marco Valli, Elnava Derosa.

Tre postazioni dedicate alle Associazioni che hanno collaborato all evento: per Eurotoques curata da Maurizio Urso, quella di Ambasciatori del Gusto da Nikita Sergeev e per Chic Federico Beretta.

A fare gli onori di casa l Executive Chef de La Fiorida Gianni Tarabini (Stella Michelin a La Preséf) con la sua brigata.

Diverse le Autorità presenti, che hanno trasmesso non un semplice saluto, ma una coinvolta partecipazione al significato dell evento. Fabio Rolfi, assessore all Agricoltura, alimentazione e sistemi verdi di Regione Lombardia ha constatato come l agricoltura di montagna è senza dubbio eroica per i sacrifici che richiede. Si percepisce come nelle giovani generazioni vi sia un ritorno dell attenzione a questo ambito, portando a risultati eccellenti .

Gli ha fatto eco il collega di Giunta Massimo Sertori, l assessore regionale alla Montagna, Enti Locali e piccoli Comuni: le attività che mantengono viva la montagna, come quelle dell allevamento e dell agricoltura in quota, da cui nasce anche il Bitto, concorrono a preservare questo ambiente e generano eccellenze da valorizzare con orgoglio .

Ettore Prandini, presidente regionale di Coldiretti Lombardia, ha visto in questa serata il racconto di un lavoro straordinario, che contribuisce a mantenere e valorizzare territorio, tradizione ed economie locali .

BITTO AND THE STARS TRADITION IS RENEWED “Il Bitto e le Stelle” is a tradition which the large family that represents the very soul of La Fiorida holds particularly dear. It envelops its many welcome guests by adopting a model approach whilst respecting both Nature and Tradition. As ever a warm and welcoming atmosphere prevailed and was much favoured by this year’s early appointment of late September 2018. Time indeed for La Fiorida to throw open the doors to its atmospheric haylofts, barns, abattoir, dairy, and vast expanse for the cheese maturation and the farm shop itself. Along the way the route was constantly punctuated by halts in order to savour the typical and characteristic farm produce. And innovatively at the final meeting up point, all paths lead to the garden within which were laid out the tasting islands dedicated to the creations of the guest Chefs and where the cuttings and tastings of the forms of Bitto DOP was executed.

Eighteen Chefs in all were to apply their signature to a symphony of variations on the “Bitto” theme: the President of Euro-Toques Enrico Derflingher, one-time occupant of the White House kitchen and that of the English Royal Family and declared Best World Chef, the starred Edoardo Fumagalli, Marco Sacco (two Michelin stars), Tommaso Arrigoni, Roberto Tonola, Tano Simonato; along with Fabio Silva, Simone Bonini, Claudio Gatti, Riccardo Lucque, Agie Zhou, Axel Piloni and Marco Valli, Elnava Derosa. Three positions were designated to Associations which had collaborated in the Event: Eurotoques represented by Maurizio Urso, that of Ambasciatori del Gusto by Nikita Sergeev and for Chic Federico Beretta.

And to do the Honours for the hosts, Executive Chef of La Fiorida Gianni Tarabini (Michelin Star at La Preséf) and his Brigade. Numerous Authorities were represented, and all imparted – not a simple greeting – but more their acutely involved participation in a highly significant Event. Fabio Rolfi, Assessor for Agriculture, food and Green systems within the Lombardy region commented how “mountain agriculture is unquestionably heroic because of the sacrifices it demands. But it would appear that the younger generations are indeed turning their attention to this environment again, and bringing with them some excellent results”.

This was echoed by his council colleague Massimo Sertori, Regional assessor for the Mountains, Local Businesses and Small Municipalities: “The activities which keep the mountains alive, such as those of breeding and farming at high altitude, from where Bitto itself is created, contribute to the preservation of this environment and engender an excellence that we should be promoting with pride”.

A cheese from the Latteria Sociale di Mellarolo was the gift with which La Fiorida thanked the protagonist Chefs of the day. A cheese which represents a product that encapsulates the economic and social chain of the small community of Mellarolo, half-way up Valgerola, and immersed in the Parco delle Orobie, in Valtellina: it’s the very first product stamped “Terra Alta di Valtellina”, a project which was the brainchild of La Fiorida, with the objective of promoting and exploiting the economy of agricultural and handicraft works undertaken above 700 metres in altitude.

Bitto campione di longevità e di beneficenza Un momento de Il Bitto e le Stelle 2018 rimarrà ben impresso in tutti i partecipanti: la presentazione di una forma stagionata ben 18 anni, posta all incanto dal fondatore de La Fiorida Plinio Vanini, per raccogliere fondi in favore di Cancro Primo Aiuto ONLUS, Associazione benefica brianzola attiva da anni a sostegno delle cure oncologiche.

Grazie alla gara di generosità dei presenti, i quattro quarti in cui è stata tagliata questa forma marchiata nell anno 2000 sono stati aggiudicati sfiorando la ragguardevole somma di 12.000 euro.

Una donazione che contribuirà ai progetti che il sodalizio di Cancro Primo Aiuto ONLUS sviluppa a favore delle attività di volontariato e del reperimento di risorse finalizzate a potenziare le attrezzature preventive e terapeutiche nelle strutture sanitarie lombarde e non solo.

Bitto a model of longevity and Charity One particular element of “Il Bitto e le Stelle” 2018 will live long in the memory: the presentation of a cheese matured for fully 18 years, placed under the hammer by the founder of La Fiorida, Plinio Vanini, to raise funds on behalf of Cancro Primo Aiuto ONLUS, the Brianza-based Charitable Organisation which has worked to support cancer care for many years. Thanks to the huge generosity of those present, the four quarters into which the cheese was divided, having been stamped back in the year 2000, were rewarded with the remarkable sum of 12.000 euro. A significant donation which will contribute to the projects which the association of Cancro Primo Aiuto ONLUS develop and maintain in support of voluntary activities and the locating of resources aimed at reinforcing the preventive and therapeutic apparatus within the health facilities of Lombardy and beyond

A STAR WITH THE DEEPEST OF ROOTS Michelin Guide 2019 confirms yet again the star which shines ever-so-brilliantly above the La Preséf restaurant at La Fiorida, as it has without interruption since 2013. It’s a recognition that takes on a very particular significance because it also confirms the uniqueness of this prestigious award being endowed on a restaurant within an agri-touristic environment.

A “Star” which in turn reveals deep roots within a food farming context and the traditions from which it was born, the result of an interpretation by the La Fiorida holiday farm supply chain and the surrounding Valtellina and Larian territory through the imaginative creations of Chef Gianni Tarabini: “It’s clearly a prize shared by a vast number of people, to whom an equal part of the honour is due: from those who rear the animals, to the dairymen, colleagues who are involved in cultivation, the many alongside me in the kitchen and finally to those who serve at table”.

Understandably, it’s a confirmation anticipated with some trepidation every year: “But simply waiting for it is not enough, you have to earn it on a daily basis, aiming always to improve the creativity and quality. We continually try to find and incorporate - as part of our mission of territorial appreciation - new and distinguishing features. DAVIDE MADDALENA Anche il gusto può raccontare un territorio, arricchendosi di tratteggi di sapore, come un pittore farebbe delineando un paesaggio su tela.

Di questo ne è convinto Davide Maddalena, che fa della ricerca di tali sfumature il filo conduttore della sua professione.

Nato nel 1991, valtellinese di Dubino, luogo di snodo tra i luoghi che hanno segnato la sua formazione e crescita. Si è diplomato all Istituto Crotto Caurga di Chiavenna (SO), ha sostenuto i primi stage formativi sulle sponde del Lago di Como, misurandosi dapprima con la cucina tradizionale locale per poi, nelle successive esperienze lavorative, affrontarne anche una rielaborazione degli elementi e dei canoni.

Si trasferisce in Engadina, esplorandone la cultura alpina. Con questo bagaglio, sei anni fa approda a La Fiorida, dove trova il clima ideale per continuare a lavorare sull esplorazione di proposte ben radicate nel territorio ma sempre diverse nella realizzazione. Il mio primo incarico nella brigata de La Fiorida ‒ racconta Davide ‒ è stato agli antipasti. Qui ho potuto dare il mio contributo alla nascita di un elemento ricorrente nella Carta stellata de La Preséf: il Crudo di Capriolo . Una sorta di rielaborazione del concetto di sushi, ma con elementi estremamente tipici della montagna, del bosco e dell orto. Un piatto di cui vado particolarmente orgoglioso, perché ho potuto riassumervi la mia interpretazione del territorio in piena sintonia con la filosofia di cucina con cui da anni chef Gianni Tarabini afferma l inconfondibile firma culinaria de La Fiorida .

Maturata una consolidata collaborazione con tutta la brigata di cucina, Davide è sempre più coinvolto nell organizzazione di catering e di eventi esterni. Attività, queste ultime, cui privati, aziende e associazioni rivolgono crescente attenzione ed apprezzamento per la qualità con cui, dal servizio, ai prodotti sino alle creazioni, La Fiorida sa offrire sempre note speciali agli appuntamenti cui è chiamata.

Davide Maddalena Even the taste can tell the story of a territory, once embellished with dashes of flavour, like an artist might sketch out a landscape on canvas. There is no doubt about this in Davide Maddalena’s mind, and his search for such nuances form the very leitmotif of his profession.

Born in 1991, in Dubino, Valtellina, a place which fits snugly amongst many others marking his development and growth. He graduated from the Istituto Crotto Caurga di Chiavenna (SO), and undertook the early stages of his training on the banks of Lake Como, getting to grips first with the traditional local cuisine, and in fact in his subsequent career he would return to re-address those very same elements and canons.

But in between he moved on to the Engadine, exploring the Alpine culture. And with this experience under his belt, six years ago he turned up at La Fiorida, where he was to discover an ideal climate in which to continue his acute examination of proposals well-rooted in the territory and yet always quite original in their execution. “My first responsibility in the La Fiorida brigade” recalls Davide “was antipasti. And it was here that I was able to make my contribution with a recurring element in the Michelin-starred menu of La Preséf: “Crudo di Capriolo”. It was a sort of reworking of the concept of sushi, but with elements extremely typical of the mountains, of the forest and the vegetable plot. It’s a dish of which I’m particularly proud, because I was able to distil my interpretation of the territory in total harmony with a philosophy of the kitchen which for years chef Gianni Tarabini has affirmed with his unmistakable signature on La Fiorida cuisine”.

Having established a long-standing rapport with everyone in the brigades over years, Davide is now increasingly involved in the organisation of catering and external events. It’s in this more recent capacity, to which private individuals, companies and associations are turning ever more, that clients show a genuine appreciation of quality, whether it be service, products or the creations themselves. Yes indeed, La Fiorida always manages to bring some rather special nuances to any appointment to which it is invited.

RICETTA

Riso alla zucca con mascarpone al tartufo Davide Maddalena ha scelto di proporre un piatto che parla di autunno e territorio, ma introduce anche una novità del caseificio de La Fiorida. La zucca dell orto della fattoria, prodotto simbolo dei mesi che portano all inverno, incontra in questo piatto il tartufo della Costiera dei Cech, preziosa particolarità del territorio della Bassa Valtellina, e la versatilità del mascarpone, ultima genuina proposta della filiera corta dell azienda agricola. Un primo piatto che caratterizza la carta stagionale del ristorante Quattro Stagioni de La Fiorida e che saprà portare le suggestioni della campagna valtellinese anche sui tavoli di casa, seguendo la semplice ricetta.

Ingredienti PER LA CREMA DI ZUCCA: 300g di zucca 1 cipolla bionda Sale qb Pepe qb Olio qb PER IL RISOTTO: 160g di riso mezza cipolla tritata brodo vegetale qb aromi qb 2cl aceto di vino bianco 80g burro de La Fiorida 50g Casera DOP stravecchio Casello 084 La Fiorida grattugiato 100 g crema di zucca 50g mascarpone de La Fiorida 3g tartufo

Esecuzione

Preparare la crema di zucca, che dovrà essere successivamente unita alla cottura del risotto.

In una pentola profonda mettere un filo d olio e una julienne di cipolla, fino a portarla ad appassimento.

Aggiungere la zucca pelata e tagliata a cubetti grossolani. Cuocere per mezz ora circa. Lavorare il tutto con un mixer fino ad ottenere una crema liscia ed omogenea; aggiungere pepe, sale e olio per insaporire a piacere.

Tostare il riso con la cipolla, bagnare con il brodo vegetale; a due minuti da fine cottura aggiungere la crema di zucca. Mantecare successivamente con burro, aceto di vino bianco e Casera. Mescolare il mascarpone con tartufo e adagiare sul riso a piacere. Se lo si desidera, aggiungere lamelle di tartufo.

PUMPKIN RICE

METHOD

Davide Maddalena has chosen to propose a dish which speaks both of Autumn and territory, but also introduces an innovation from the La Fiorida dairy. Pumpkin from the farm vegetable plot, a real symbol of the oncoming of winter, meets in his choice of dish, truffles from the Costiera dei Cech, priceless speciality from the Lower Valtellina, and the ever-versatile mascarpone, last but not least of genuine proposals from the farm short supply chain. It’s a first course which characterises the seasonal menu of the Quattro Stagioni restaurant at La Fiorida and which is sure to transport reminders of the Valtellina countryside even to your very own dining table, by following this simplest of recipes.

Prepare the cream of pumpkin, which will be subsequently combined with the risotto in preparation. Put a little oil and a julienne of onion in a deep saucepan, heat until it is brought to wither. Add the peeled pumpkin in coarse cubed form. Cook for around half an hour. Following on put everything into a mixer until you arrive at a smooth and homogeneous cream.

Add pepper, salt and oil to flavour as you like. Toast the rice with an onion, douse with vegetable stock; two minutes prior to the final heating add the cream of pumpkin. Time now to cream further using butter, white wine vinegar and Casera cheese. Mix the mascarpone with truffle and lay onto the rice as you like.

If desired add this layers of truffle.

STORIE DI VINO

La percezione del vino è in evoluzione, come la sua fruizione. Nella ristorazione aumenta l’attenzione alla qualità, mentre si fa strada la consumazione in contesti non strettamente conviviali, dove centrale è l’interesse per il prodotto e per la sua storia.

Anche in Valtellina si percepisce questo trend?

Per Aldo Rainoldi, presidente del Consorzio di Tutela Vini di Valtellina è proprio così. Negli ultimi anni sono aumentati esponenzialmente l attenzione e l interesse verso ciò che si beve. Per questo - spiega Rainoldi - la cantina sta diventando una struttura ricettiva a tutti gli effetti, in cui l ospite che visita il territorio sa di poter trovare una storia affascinante che lo aspetta. E noi possiamo raccontare le unicità che contiene una bottiglia: ogni vigneto valtellinese è immerso in un cammino ideale tra storia e arte, testimoniato da borghi, castelli, chiese e sottolineato da chilometri di monumentali muretti a secco .

Si aprono quindi nuove opportunità e nuovi scenari attorno al vino di Valtellina?

Il momento è propizio - continua Rainoldi -. Il Consorzio rispecchia il mondo del vino valtellinese, in cui si condivide un obiettivo: quello di crescere, soprattutto culturalmente.

Dagli anni Novanta abbiamo fatto enormi passi avanti. Ogni cantina, anche la più piccola, ha oggi un enologo e l attenzione al lavoro in vigna è davvero altissima. Ma non basta: bisogna esser bravi a vendere il prodotto, che non coincide più con la sola bottiglia, ma è anche e soprattutto il territorio .

Cosa serve fare?

Dobbiamo saper narrare il territorio - sottolinea il presidente -. Con circa 800 ettari vitati e 3,5 milioni di bottiglie all anno, la Valtellina è il secondo ambito al mondo per la coltivazione del Nebbiolo e rappresenta, per dimensione, la prima viticoltura di pendenza in Italia, la terza in Europa .

Occorrono nuove competenze.

Conoscenza e passione del territorio e dei vini, conoscenza delle lingue; cantine con sala accoglienza funzionali a questa crescente domanda di visite. E, al tempo stesso, una rete locale di produttori di prodotti tipici ed una ristorazione di livello che prenda parte a questo percorso. A La Fiorida, per esempio, si può percepire tutto ciò a cui mi sto riferendo .

ALDO RAINOLDI WINE TALES The perception of wine is evolving, as is its observance. In the world of catering attention is now more focused on quality, whilst consumption appears to take place within contexts which might not appear immediately convivial, yet where the interest in the product and its history is central.

Can this trend also be discerned in Valtellina?

For Aldo Rainoldi, President of the Consorzio di Tutela Vini di Valtellina, that is definitely the case. “In recent years the attention and interest in what you drink has increased exponentially. This is why,” explains Rainoldi “the cellar itself is becoming a totally accepted and welcoming resource, and where a guest who is visiting the local territory knows that a fascinating story awaits him.

It’s up to us to recount the originality that each and every bottle represents: every Valtellina vineyard is submerged in an abstract pathway somewhere between history and art, borne witness to by settlements, castles, churches and accentuated by kilometre after kilometre of monumental dry stone walls”.

So new opportunities and scenarios are opening up for Valtellina wines?

“It’s an opportune moment” Rainoldi continues “the Consortium reflects the world of Valtellina wine, in which we share a clear goal: that of growth, and in particular culturally. We have taken huge strides forward since the Nineties. Every wine cellar, yes even the smallest today, has its oenologist and the attention to detail in the vineyard is of the very highest. But it’s not enough: you need to be good at selling the product, which no longer revolves around simply the bottle, but also – and perhaps above all – the territory”.

So what’s to be done?

“We must be able to tell the very real history of the territory” the President stresses “With around 800 hectares of vineyards and a production of 3,5 million bottles a year, Valtellina is the second area in the world for the cultivation of Nebbiolo and represents, by size, the first viticulture slopes in Italy, and the third in Europe”.

Specialist skills are also needed.

“Knowledge and passion for the territory and the wine itself, familiarity with languages; cellars with practical reception rooms to accommodate the growing demands for visits. And at the same time, a network of producers of typical, local products and quality catering to complement the entire movement. At La Fiorida for example you can discern everything to which I’m referring”.

Storia, cultura, tradizioni e tipicità agroalimentari alpine tutelate da denominazioni DOP, immerse in un identità territoriale, paesaggistica e socioculturale unica nel cuore del Parco delle Orobie Valtellinesi: questo è il panorama che offrirà la Via del Bitto a chi la percorrerà.

La Via del Bitto è un progetto che nasce dalla collaborazione di sette Comuni del Mandamento di Morbegno (Cosio Valtellino, Rasura, Pedesina, Gerola Alta, Albaredo per San Marco, Bema e Talamona) e che muove i primi passi grazie al sostegno della Provincia di Sondrio.

Il percorso Dall Abbazia di San Pietro in Vallate (Cosio Valtellino) fino a Talamona attraversando le Valli del Bitto, il tracciato di 92 km recupererà e valorizzerà la sentieristica esistente per unire 24 alpeggi attivi.

Un percorso costellato da 11 rifugi esistenti e raggiungibile da dieci punti di accesso intermedi, presso nuclei abitati o in prossimità della rete stradale ordinaria. La Via del Bitto punta ad una fruibilità emozionante delle peculiarità territoriali, adeguandone la percorribilità a utenze differenti e secondo canoni in linea con le aspettative contemporanee. L itinerario si proporrà come opportunità escursionistica per famiglie e per esperti, gite attrezzate per disabili, ippovia e attività di ippoterapia, itinerario Mountain Bike e e-Bike, itinerari invernali per le ciaspole.

Tante opportunità a un’ora da Milano Saranno garantiti gradi di accessibilità differenziata e previsti adeguati supporti di assistenza: ricettività offerta da Rifugi e Agriturismi esistenti, aree attrezzate per la riparazione delle Bike e ricarica di e-Bike, segnaletica predisposta per le varie utenze con download GPS del percorso, connessione WI-FI. Ad un ora da Milano grazie alla nuova viabilità, o in pochi minuti di più servendosi della linea ferroviaria Milano-Lecco-Morbegno, la Via del Bitto si presenta come una risorsa turistica unica, moderna ed attrezzata, in grado di proiettare agevolmente il pubblico dalla città in un tipico contesto alpino: numerosi e qualificati alpeggi, rifugi, agriturismi, nuclei storici di fondovalle e della sponda orobica.

Inoltre, la riqualificazione della sentieristica offrirà la possibilità di migliorare il collegamento delle strutture alpestri presenti ed attive, favorendo l accesso nelle situazioni più sfavorevoli, la mobilità interna alle malghe e, allo stesso tempo, offrendo la possibilità di interscambio tra i caricatori d alpe.

Nel suo sviluppo, la Via del Bitto si arricchirà anche di attività di animazione sociale e culturale, nonché di aree tematiche per un immersione ancor più coinvolgente nell ambiente circostante.

ITINERARIES LA VIA DEL BITTO DISCOVERING FLAVOURS History, culture, traditions and characteristic Alpine foodstuffs safeguarded by the DOP denomination, immersed in a unique territorial and socio-cultural identity at the heart of the Parco Orobie, Valtellina: this is precisely the panorama that the Via del Bitto will throw up for anyone who will embark on it.

La Via del Bitto is a project which has been established through the collaboration of the seven Municipalities under the Morbegno stewardship (Cosio Valtellino, Rasura, Pedesina, Gerola Alta, Albaredo per San Marco, Bema e Talamona) and which takes its very first steps thanks also to the support of the Province of Sondrio.

The route From Cosio Valtellino (Vallate) to Talamona, through the Bitto Valleys, along the length of its 92km trail it aims to reclaim and take full advantage of the existing country pathway in order to unite the 24 still-active mountain pastures. It’s a path dotted with 11 current mountain refuges, accessible from ten intermediate points, not far from inhabited nuclei and the regular road network. La Via del Bitto points up new and exciting prospects for a rather special territory, offering up a range of different options for outings and taking into due consideration contemporary expectations. The itinerary is a hiking opportunity for both families and the more experienced excursionist, with outings suitable for the disabled, and a bridle path alongside activities of constructive hippotherapy, Mountain Bike and e-Bike trail, and in winter an exhilarating excursion on snow racquets.

A host of opportunities a mere hour from Milan A range of systems for accessibility and support are guaranteed to visitors: accommodation in existing refuges and holiday farms, areas fitted out with equipment for bicycle repair and e-Bike recharging, indications geared towards everyone at all levels including users of GPS along the way, and WI-FI connections. At just an hour from Milan thanks to the new road network, or a short stroll from stations served by the Milan-LeccoMorbegno railway line, la Via del Bitto is a highly-original, modern and well-considered tourist resource, quintessentially capable of pitching the city dweller painlessly into a splendidly typical Alpine context: traditional mountain pastures, refuges, holiday farms, ancient settlements along the valley bottom and the Orobie slopes. Furthermore, the redevelopment of the network of paths will facilitate an improvement in the connection of existing Alpine structures, encouraging access in less than favourable situations and the dwellings themselves, whilst at the same time paving the way towards better communication between the Alpine community. As part of its development la Via del Bitto will promote a wealth of activities of both a social and cultural nature, including themed areas for an ever more profound involvement with the surrounding environment.

LEGGENDE

D’AMORE, D’ARMI E DI FANTASMI Lungo l antica mulattiera che risale da Morbegno verso la Val Gerola, se dopo l imbrunire si giunge presso la frazione di San Carlo, ci si può imbattere in una misteriosa fiammella. Nel tempo è stata battezzata ciarìn de san Carlu e non pare avere un comportamento minaccioso: non si avvicina ai vivi ma, anzi, tende a sfuggire alla loro curiosità, allontanandosi da quanti cerchino di vederla più da vicino. Queste apparizioni avvengono soprattutto nelle notti d estate, ed hanno dato vita a diverse spiegazioni. La più accreditata si ispira alla storia dei luoghi, legati alla figura di Bona Lombarda.

Il suo nome riecheggia in tutta la Valtellina, raggiunge l imponente Rocca Sanvitale di Fontanellato e di lei si narra in molte cronache a partire dall epoca rinascimentale. Bona Lombarda era una semplice contadina, nativa della frazione di Campione, sita a mezza quota poco distante da San Carlo.

Correva l anno 1432 e di lei si innamorò Pietro Brunoro di San Vitale, capitano di ventura d origine parmigiana che militava nell esercito visconteo del Ducato di Milano, guidato da Niccolò Piccinino e dal valtellinese Stefano Quadrio, reduce dalla vittoria su quello veneziano nella battaglia di Delebio. I due si sposarono nella chiesa di Sacco e Bona Lombarda seguì poi il marito. Ciò che proietta nella leggenda la figura della donna fu la pratica delle armi, nella quale, affiancando il marito, si distinse per coraggio e valore.

Secondo i più, come qui tramanda la narrazione popolare, la fiammella sarebbe proprio la manifestazione visibile della sua anima che torna ai luoghi eternamente legati al grande innamoramento, probabilmente il ricordo più caro di tutta la sua vita.

LEGENDS OF LOVE, WEAPONS AND GHOSTS Along the ancient mule-track which moves up from Morbegno towards Val Gerola, if it’s after dusk and you’re nearing the little hamlet of San Carlo, you might just come across a mysterious small flame. Over the years it has been christened ‘ciarìn de san Carlu’ and doesn’t appear to be a threat: in fact it doesn’t approach the living but, rather tends to take flight from their curiosity, moving away from those who try to see it closer at hand. Apparitions of this nature occur for the most part on summer nights, and have given rise to a range of interpretations. The most accredited is inspired by the history of places linked to the figure of a certain, Bona Lombarda.

The name echoes throughout Valtellina, reaching as far as the mighty Rocca Sanvitale di Fontanellato and she is referred to in many a narrative dating back to the Renaissance era. Bona Lombarda was a simple peasant woman, native of the village of Campione situated halfway up the valley side not far from San Carlo.

It was in 1432 when she fell deeply in love with Pietro Brunoro di San Vitale, a leading mercenary of Parmigiana origin who fought in the Visconti army of the Duke of Milan led by Niccolò Piccinino and Stefano Quadrio of Valtellina, a veteran of the victory over the Venetians at the battle of Delebio. The two married in the church at Sacco and Bona Lombarda became a lifelong follower of her husband. What thrusts this figure of a woman into legendary status was the art of weaponry itself, in which, along with her husband, she distinguished herself by her courage and valour. According to the majority, or at least as has been handed down through popular narrative, the flame is believed to be the visible manifestation of her very soul returning to the places forever linked to her great passion for Pietro, undoubtedly her most cherished memory.
