GROUND BROKEN ON £5.4M BUSINESS INCUBATION HUB IN ROTHERHAM Ground has been broken on a brand-new business incubation hub on Century Business Park in Rotherham. Led by Rotherham Council, and with Esh Construction as the main contractor, Manvers Incubation Hub will provide highquality, serviceable office and workshop accommodation designed to help micro or start-up businesses grow. The facility will feature 20 workshops, 16 office units and 2 laboratories for 38 businesses. This second phase will build on the success of the nearby Century Business Centre which was constructed in 2000 and has since helped over 300 businesses, playing a crucial part in the economic regeneration of the Manvers area. Cllr Denise Lelliott, Cabinet

Member for Jobs and the Local Economy, said: “Providing highquality office and workshop accommodation is important for attracting and growing businesses to Rotherham. “The Century Business Centre site has been an undoubted success over the past couple of decades, so it is exciting to break ground as construction begins on this new business incubation hub at Century Business Park.” Esh Construction was appointed as design and build contractor after the scheme was procured by YORhub’s YORbuild2 framework and will work in partnership with The Harris Partnership and RWO Associates. Esh’s Operations Manager, Andrew Schofield, said: “We are delighted to get work underway on this key facility for local

businesses, which will in turn contribute to a boost in local employment and the economy. As a business we are committed to delivering social and economic value in the communities where we operate. Throughout this development we will engage with local schools, offer work experience opportunities and support training for apprentices on site.” The new centre will feature a central reception and lettable conference facilities for larger

meetings and functions. Externally, the site will include car parking, cycle storage and electric car charging points. The workshop zone will have its own dedicated service yard for light vehicles such as transit vans and utility vehicles. A fabric first approach has been taken towards creating a more sustainable building and renewable heating will be incorporated within the office spaces via air source heat pumps.

The site is located just off the A6195 at Wombwell, providing excellent connectivity links to M1 and A1. It will be managed by Rotherham Investment and Development Office (RiDO) which manages similar facilities across the borough. There will be a focus on achieving a BIM Level 2 accreditation throughout the scheme, with Magenta Solutions Ltd leading on the BIM Execution Plan, as well as achieving a BREEAM rating of ‘Very Good’.

This month see the return of Steph the vet. Through out the year she will be sharing advise and tips on caring for your pets.

FLEAS AND TICKS With our increasing temperatures, modern central heating and an increased dog and cat population fleas and ticks are no longer just a summer problem. You may have had a discussion with your vet about flea and tick treatment but in this article, I will discuss the life cycles so that we can fully understand why it is so important to treat our pets regularly for ticks and fleas.

FLEAS Fleas can cause intense itching and associated skin infections and irritation in dogs and cats. A female flea can lay 50-200 eggs per day, these eggs fall off our pets onto carpets, furniture, cars and even between the edges of floorboards. The eggs take between 2 days to 2 weeks to hatch depending on environmental conditions, these eggs hatch into larvae, these larvae will naturally avoid light and will spin cocoons form into a pupae, this cocoon protects the pupae from environmental factors allowing it to be protected for long periods (up to months but in some cases even years). Adult fleas will hatch from the cocoons when they feel vibrations, rising carbon dioxide levels and body heat. They are waiting for the signs of a pet then they hatch and jump on, completing the cycle to adult flea. Due to the life cycle stages around 90% of fleas live in the environment we live in and not on the animals, this is why the main stay of treatment is a 2-step approach 1. Killing adult fleas so that they cannot lay eggs 2. Treating the environment to kill eggs, lavae and pupae with an appropriate house spray regularly

TICKS Ticks have been classically associated with moorland and woodland but can now be found in most environments including parks and gardens. They are commonly found in the summer but are now being found in autumn and even in winter. Ticks have 4 life stages lasting 3 years. Ticks are required to feed off an animal between each of the life stages. An adult female tick can lay several thousand

eggs that hatch into larval stage (seed ticks) in the environment. As ticks cannot jump they will use vegetation to elevate them to a height where they can easily attach to a passing animal, a behaviour known as ‘questing’. A seed tick will feed for several days and then drop off and moult to become a nymph, these nymphs feed again and drop off to moult into an adult tick to complete the life cycle. Ticks can cause irritation and tick bite reactions around the area of biting, they can also carry some serious diseases. Lyme disease caused by a bacteria called Borrelia Burgdorferi is spread by ticks and can cause lameness, lethargy, fever and increased gland size (lymph nodes). Babesiosis is a disease of red blood cells causing anaemia, weakness, dark urine and fever. Ehrlichiosis is a disease of white blood cells caused by a bacteria called Rickettsia causing fever, anorexia, stiffness and bleeding problems. Both Babesiosis and ehrlichiosis are common in Europe but rare in the UK, however dogs travelling to Europe may become infected or carry infected ticks to the UK so some cases are now being seen. It is very important if you see ticks to only remove with an appropriate tick hook and not just pull them out, if the head is left in the animal it can cause irritation, reaction or an abscess. Ask your veterinary surgeon or nurse for advice.

Treatment and prevention It is important to treat your dogs and cats regularly for both fleas and ticks. There are a huge range of treatment out there, I would always advise using a prescription medication, ideally after a discussion with your veterinary surgeon. There are ranges of monthly and 3 monthly spot on treatments and tablets available now for ease of use. Gaining veterinary advice is strongly recommended as it will ensure you are using a current product with the effectiveness for the current risks in your geographical area, for any potential travel and for your home environment. Good flea and tick prevention and treatment will ensure that we all have fun with our pets this summer and autumn. Stephanie Peat MRCVS, Hall Court Veterinary Group

WOW - Women of the World Festival is taking place in Rotherham NEXT MONTH! Saturday 16th - Sunday 17th July, Rotherham Clifton Park Rotherham Council has announced the programme for the first ever WOW Women of the World Festival in Rotherham, taking place next month. Led by Founder Jude Kelly, WOW Festivals are the world’s most comprehensive festivals celebrating women, girls and non-binary people. Launched in 2010, WOW Festivals have now taken place in more than 30 locations in six continents, reaching more than three million people to date. WOW Rotherham is organised by Rotherham Council and Flux Rotherham in partnership with The WOW Foundation, the UK based charity that runs the WOW movement across the world. The two day festival will celebrate community, culture, and entrepreneurialism with artists local, national and international taking part in the event, the first of its kind for the town. Aiming to tackle the subjects that matter most to women, girls and non-binary people, the festival is open to people from all walks of life, however they identify. WOW Rotherham will take place over the weekend of Saturday 16th and Sunday 17th July in the town’s Clifton Park and will feature an eclectic series of events, talks, debates, workshops, mentoring and performances. The weekend’s main stage will kick off with a welcome address from WOW Festival organisers from across the globe including founder Jude Kelly and entrepreneur Dame Julie Kenny, interim chair of the UK Commission for Employment and Skills and Chair of Trustees of the Wentworth Woodhouse Preservation Trust. The welcome will be followed by WOW Big Ideas, a platform for short talks about pressing conversations and important ideas for change. Speakers will include award-winning cultural producer and freelance marketer Annalisa Toccara, campaigners and activists The 3 Hijabis who are calling for racists to be banned for life from all football matches in England and senior critical care nurse Charmaine Mutsago. Further events on the Saturday will include a panel discussing issues and barriers to getting or keeping jobs as someone who identifies as a woman, a discussion about women’s health (with no subject considered too taboo!) and music from local South Yorkshire musicians The Sangeet Choir, DJ Tonner, and punk band Skint Knees. There will also be entertainment in the form of comedy and poetry throughout the day. Sunday’s events include fun in the form of Drag Queen Bingo and a silent disco. There will also be a live set from local progressive gothic folk rock band The Mother of Crows, poetry with Nicky Rogers and Ellie Blackburn, an in

conversation chat with stroke survivor Donna MacKenzie-Smyth and a number of workshops. In addition to a programme of important, thought-provoking conversations and workshops, as well as chances to kick back and have some fun, WOW Rotherham will be hosting a diverse WOW Marketplace filled with female makers and organisations; a feature at every WOW Festival around the world. The marketplace will feature a number of stalls including hand-crafted gifts and a clothes swap and many more. There will also be a food and drink area to keep attendees refreshed throughout the weekend. As part of the festival, local artists Zoe Walker and Neil Bromwich of Walker and Bromwich will be showcasing their project ‘Siege Weapons of Love’, a series of inflatable sculptures that combine potent symbols of war with flowers and organic forms. This will include a vibrant, loud and joyful procession on Saturday 16th July around the festival site, which will culminate at a beautiful arch decorated with handmade flowers. On Sunday 17th July, the flowers will be gifted to festival visitors as a symbol of love and generosity. Attendees are invited to get involved by making their own flowers as a symbol of peace and love and to highlight the wonderful and welcoming town of Rotherham. Jude Kelly CBE, CEO and Founder of The WOW Foundation said: “WOW

Rotherham is going to be a wonderful and joyful celebration of the women and girls whose stories, achievements and resilience can help build a new chapter in the history of the town. We've been working with Flux to bring together people of all kinds and make sure that the WOW Festival is full of bold, brave and brilliant conversations and events. The WOW local producers are using their huge energy to build an equal, just and safe world where the women, girls, trans and non-binary communities of Rotherham can flourish.” Helen Jones, Director at Flux Rotherham said: “We are thrilled to be part of this fantastic two-day festival, celebrating women, girls, trans and non-binary communities of Rotherham. There will be so much to do and see around the festival site at Clifton Park. From excellent speakers, workshops, and art performances to live music, poetry and joyful dance sessions. All topped off with a beautiful marketplace area filled with female makers and organisations.” Leanne Buchan, Acting Assistant Director for Culture, Sport & Tourism at Rotherham Council said: “We started our journey with WOW Women of the World in 2019 at Rotherham Town Hall with 60 women from across the borough sharing their hopes, fears and aspirations. To see it blossom into a two day festival and to have been able to support three female community producers to achieve this is really special. The programme is a brilliant blend of the difficult topics that

The first ever WOW Festival in Rotherham is the latest in a

number of WOW Festivals to take place this year, organised by local partners around the globe. In March, WOW Festivals took place in London, Istanbul, across Western Australia, Nepal and online in Pakistan and Bangladesh. WOW Festivals are organised by local partners, working alongside The WOW Foundation. Further names and events for WOW Rotherham will be announced in the coming weeks with the festival fast approaching.

Legal and General completed a piece of research in 2020 named deadline to the breadline, which found that out of those surveyed, the average family “ran out of money” at only 24 days. It is commonly thought that a family would survive 2-3 months on one wage or without income but this sometimes is simply not the case.

What would you do if you became ill and was not able to work? You may be able to claim some benefits however this may not cover anywhere near your rent and cost of living. We can set you up either a rental protection or an income protection policy. These are similar in that they both pay out if incapacity occurs where you are unable to work due to health issues or accidents but they work slightly differently. Rental Protection will pay out your rental costs until you are able to return to work! Income protection pays out 60-65% of your gross annual income again until you are able to return to work. You can take a lighter version of either of these policies by cutting the time it pays out for. For example, you could have an injury that means you are off work for 3 years but have only taken a policy that pays out for 2 years. Plantinum CBD Supporting Prostate Cancer UK Plantinum CBD are super proud to announce that the Charity Golf Day at Dore & Totley Golf Club, in support of Prostate Cancer UK raised a staggering £5,000.

We want to thank everyone involved in making it a great day and raising such an amazing amount for such a fantastic charity. We were proud to have our Plantinum CBD Celebrity family supporting on the day, as well as other celebrities from a wide variety of sporting background

and the music industry. Filming also took place on the day from Fight Connect TV and all of the footage is on Youtube. The charity of choice, Prostate Cancer UK, is very close to all of our hearts, as the Father of Stuart Collard, founder and MD of Plantinum, is a survivor of

prostate cancer himself. Bruce Collard suffered with this illness over 2 years ago and thanks to some great treatment and early detection is cancer free today. Sadly, not everyone is lucky, and it is events like the golf day that help support the great work of Prostate Cancer UK.

Some of the celebrity's captains involved on Friday 10th June 2022; David Hirst (Ex Professional Footballer Sheffield Wednesday and England) Chris Waddle (Ex Professional Footballer Sheffield Wednesday and England) Stuart Collard (Founder Plantinum CBD ex Professional Rugby Player Moseley & Sale Sharks) Bruce collard (Ex Professional Footballer West Brom) Kell Brook (Ex World Champion Boxer) Carlton Palmer (Ex Professional Footballer Sheffield Wednesday and England) Ryan Rhodes (Ex Professional Boxer) Kid Galahad (Ex World champion, Professional Boxer) Sheldon McDonald (Professional Boxer) Danny Murrell (Professional Boxer) Bradley Skeete (Professional Boxer) Izzy Asif ( Professional Boxing Promoter & Manager former Professional Boxer) Jack Scott (British Superbikes Rider) Johnny Nelson ( Ex World Champion Professional Boxer) Dean Smith (Norwich Manager) Ian Dempsey (British Triathlete) Lawrence Thore (Social Media influencer) Steve Staunton (Professional Footballer) Gino Bonazzi (Member of the Bad Boy Chiller Crew)

Prostate Cancer UK

- Sadly, 1 in 8 men will get prostate cancer. If you’re over 50, black, or your dad or brother had it, you’re at even higher risk. - The earlier you catch it the more likely it is to be cured and the less likely it is for it to be life threatening. - Remember that most men with early prostate cancer don’t have any signs or symptoms. One reason for this is the way the cancer grows. You’ll usually only get early symptoms if the cancer grows near the tube you urinate through (the urethra) and presses against it, changing the way you urinate (wee). But because prostate cancer usually starts to grow in a different part, usually the outer part of the prostate, early prostate cancer doesn’t often press on the urethra and cause symptoms.

If you do notice changes in the way you urinate, this is more likely to be a sign of a very common non-cancerous problem called an enlarged prostate or another health problem. But it’s still a good idea to get it checked out. Possible changes include: * difficulty starting to urinate or emptying your bladder * a weak flow when you urinate * a feeling that your bladder hasn’t emptied properly * dribbling urine after you finish urinating * needing to urinate more often than usual, especially at night * a sudden need to urinate – you may sometimes leak urine before you get to the toilet.

If you have any of these symptoms, please get it checked out immediately at your GP and/or contact the Prostate Cancer UK's specialist Nursing support team on 0800 074 8383. Please also head over to the Prostate Cancer UK website for further information and also answer their three questions to check your risks today. Together we can beat Prostate Cancer UK. Please support in whatever way you can to truly support Prostate Cancer UK and raise awareness.

THE GREAT WAYS YOU CAN USE PLANTINUM CBD TO IMPROVE YOUR WELLBEING It’s a cultural obsession that’s taking over the UK supplement market and once you’ve tried it there’s no turning back. We’re talking about CBD, the super ingredient currently making major waves in the wellness and health supplement industry. Plantinum CBD, the premium CBD brand wants to share their journey, the science behind its hailed benefits and the top 5 ways it can help improve your wellbeing. The amazing bonus to the Plantinum CBD range is its Novel Food Range approved and all the products have full traceability. Plantinum wants to bust the myths and be a trusted partner on all things CBD, so we’ve created a space that provides guidance and education, as well as the only place to shop for exclusive products that have the ability to boost your wellbeing and enhance your performance not only in general well-being but sports performance and recovery too. So whether you’re a daily runner, Sunday league football player or elite athlete – the benefits can be felt.

So, without further ado, let’s set the record straight and get to fully understand CBD and its essentials! CBD 101 CBD is the acronym for Cannabidiol, which is one of over 100 naturally occurring compounds found in the cannabis plant. Before we go any further, let’s be clear about one thing: CBD will not make you high! The psychoactive element of cannabis comes from a completely different compound known as THC. Because they’re derived from hemp rather than marijuana, CBD products contain less than 0.2% THC and therefore have no mind-altering effects. That also means it isn’t addictive, and, most importantly, it’s legal. Your body loves it You may be new to CBD, but our bodies certainly aren’t, that’s thanks to something known as the endocannabinoid system (ECS), which governs a process called ‘homeostasis’ – essentially, your body’s reaction to its environment, such as temperature.

metabolism, immune function, and even reproductive function. Taking CBD engages these receptors, which communicate with the rest of your body to fix any imbalances your ECS detects. That means that it can essentially read what your body needs and naturally help it to restore harmony. Getting started If you’re new to CBD, the best way to get started is to target specific problems, which in turn will improve your emotional wellbeing. At Plantinum CBD, we group our products according to the five most common needs that everyone comes to us for guidance on:

More from Yorkshire Information Point’s Jim Epton Jim’s In Town Rotherham is peppered with hidden gems, that are unique to the town (Sheffield can’t compete in certain quarters!) It’s exactly these gems that I love to tell people about.

This Month’s spot?....

The Cutlers Arms I am yet to discover a better place for a Saturday night out…or a Friday night for that matter. This place has it all! Historic Victorian Architecture, Great live bands in its own Marquee (Local, Tribute and some Classic bands that love to play places that have an intimate vibe) as well as an in-

house band. Last and by no means least: a full selection of Chantry Ales (of Rotherham). I could write a whole new column on Chantry…it’s in my top 2 alltime favourite Cask Ales at any rate.

You MUST experience the Cutlers!

Today Rotherham… This month, Reuben Navarro tests Tomorrow The World! the wind direction in London. The wolves still roam around London, with their teeth bared and their noses twitching. You will probably never see them in the bountiful West End, the streets of Westminster, the abandoned basements where the city once swung. They silently snarl at D listers, Fragglesque media dullards, Jermyn Street clad

public schoolboys and knaves on scooters. They hyde in the shadows of the city’s history – the unspoken alleys and the doorways to rooms filled with jewels. The infrastructure shakes and tilts, Londoners barely notice. Overpriced coffee vendors move silently in their bubbles, working gravy into their beards and

chalking up another desperate cry for help on streetside sandwich boards. Gen Z plan their escape. The magnet has been disconnected and the lure of the provinces is too hard to resist. ‘Telephones’ in their pockets…scooters fully charged: The North awaits… leave the wolves behind.

The Musologist - Festival while you can: Pop Princess Louisa Johnson and NeoSpecial

Rock in the Bowl - Don Valley, Sheffield.

British weather aside, it’s so exciting to once again greet the summer and with it, some cracking music festivals! Let’s have a look then at the best of what the county has to offer. As usual, I have tried to look at several genres, but I think most of these places have a wide range for y’all to enjoy. Without further ado, grab your favourite wellies and let’s dive in head first!

Old school Rock and Metal abounds as RITB brings us sleaze from The Quireboys, NWOBHM from Diamond Head, Heavy Psych from Orange Goblin and former Iron Maiden/Wolfsbane vocalist Blaze Bayley. Show me the mosh pit!

Askern Festival Doncaster Band’s, DJ sets and more spanning the late 90’s to present day Alt-Rock. This promises to be excellent value for money due in part to it being a smaller scale event servicing some big name acts including headliners Feeder and fan favourites Republica.

Tfest - Bawtry, Doncaster Another great big hitting event, moving just down the road from Tickhill to Bawtry for the first time. Nonetheless, ticket holders will not be disappointed by a jam packed schedule including the well loved Judge Jules and Scouting for Girls plus up and coming acts to catch

Funkster Ryan Taylor.

Tramlines, Sheffield The mighty Tramlines does it again with the triple whammy headliners Sam Fender, Kasabian and Madness! A broad reaching line up this year which will draw festival goers from across the generations; with James and Little Man Tate bubbling under as well as festival favourites Reverend and The Makers & the Everly Pregnant Brothers.

Highway Child@The Winter Green - Waverley, Rotherham.

Let’s not forget to bring it on home July 30th to witness the sensational Highway Child. Not Newsam Park - Temple only do they have a new album Newsam, Leeds out, but they’ll be bringing their Great to see the return of unmissable assortment of Leeds’ Electronic Dance Music Blues, Soul and Funk covers to extravaganza Newsam Park virtually guarantee a shift of Open Air Festival. This year Jada foundations for the Winter G and Chris Stussy join the Green! Don’t miss it! rosta of vital new acts bringing the bass to Temple Newsam.

Canine casualty FOOD AND DRINK DANGEROUS TO DOGS Dogs can be opportunists when it comes to getting their paws on tasty treats, but not all everyday food and drink are safe if they come into contact with them. Learn which nine items are particularly dangerous to your dog.

1. ONIONS, GARLIC AND CHIVES The onion family, whether dry, raw or cooked, is particularly toxic to dogs and can cause gastrointestinal irritation and red blood cell damage. Signs of illness are not always immediate and can occur up to a few days later.

2. CHOCOLATE However enticing chocolate is for humans and dogs alike, chocolate is another poisonous food for dogs. Chocolate contains a stimulant called theobromine (dark chocolate has the highest content of this) which is toxic to dogs and can cause kidney failure.

3. MACADAMIA NUTS Macadamia nuts contain a toxin that can affect your dog’s muscles and nervous system resulting in weakness, swollen limbs and panting.

4. CORN ON THE COB Corn on the cob could potentially be fatal if eaten by your dog. Although the corn is digested by dogs, the cob can cause a blockage in your dog’s intestine.

5. AVOCADO Avocados are another poisonous food for dogs. Avocado plants contain a substance called Persin which is in its leaves, fruit and seed and can cause vomiting and diarrhoea in dogs.

6. ARTIFICIAL SWEETENER (XYLITOL) Our desire for sweet treats, chewing gum and drinks together with low-fat, diet and sugar-free products (including some peanut butters so always check the label before using this as a treat) are often laced with an artificial sweetener called Xylitol which causes an insulin release in our bodies. However, if your dog digests one of these sweetened foods they can go into hypoglycaemia which is linked to liver failure and blood clotting disorders.

7. ALCOHOL Alcohol has a huge impact on dogs even in small doses. The drink not only causes intoxication as it does in humans, but it can lead to sickness, diarrhoea and even central nervous system damage.

8. COOKED BONES Giving your dog a raw uncooked bone to chew on is great, but avoid cooked bones at all cost. These can easily splinter and in large quantities cause constipation or at worst, a perforation of the gut which can be fatal.

9. GRAPES AND RAISINS Raisins are in many of the foods that we love to eat such as cakes, biscuits and cereals so it’s not just the fruit form we should be concerned with. The active ingredient which causes the toxin is unknown, however both grapes and raisins may cause severe liver damage and kidney failure. WHAT SHOULD I DO IF MY DOG HAS EATEN ANY OF THESE? If consumed, even small amounts of these items can be fatal so always act immediately and take your dog to the vets.

YorkshireInformationPoint - Issue 21 - 2022 P25

What to do if your dog is stung by a bee or wasp In most cases, a bee or wasp sting will cause some mild pain and irritation but will not need any vet treatment. Occasionally, bee and wasp stings can be more serious, so it’s better to get your dog to leave bees and wasps alone. Teaching your dog to come back (recall) will help to protect your dog.

SYMPTOMS YOUR DOG HAS BEEN STUNG BY A BEE OR WASP • Whining • Limping • Drooling • Swelling • Holding up a paw (if stung on the paw) • Biting or nibbling where the sting went in • Pawing at the face or mouth • Hives (red, swollen, itchy skin)

WHAT TO DO IF YOUR DOG HAS BEEN STUNG • Remain calm • Scrape out the sting using a credit card (or any other stiff material) or pull it out below the poison sac. Do not squeeze the sting as this could force more of the poison into your dog’s body. • Bathe the area in water • Applying ice will help to soothe the sting. Make sure the cold temperature is not uncomfortable for your dog. • Closely watch your pet for signs of an allergic reaction.

“It is with great pleasure that we can now share some amazing news with you...” This morning, we have been informed that the MCVC has been formally recognised for its outstanding voluntary service for our work with the veterans’ community. This is in the form of the “The Queen’s Award for Voluntary Service”. The award identifies elements of best practice and dedication exhibited within the voluntary sector. The award is the voluntary group’s equivalent to an MBE. The award is very poignant and special this year in her Majesty’s 70th Platinum Jubilee year, it’s also very timely, as this year the MCVC celebrates its 10th birthday and it was announced during the National Volunteer’s Week. Over the last 10 years the Charity has been the leading veterans’ charity in South Yorkshire and has helped numerous veterans return to civilian life through support, comradery and sign posting to services. As a Charity it is very rewarding for the service of our volunteers to be recognised at such a high level and we wish to thank all past and present volunteers for enabling us to attain this standard of recognition. We now look forward to proudly displaying our award and maintaining the high standards of service to the veteran community, which this award recognises.

Anthony Dickinson Golf Coaching PGA Golf Professional Anthony Dickinson is Director of Anthony Dickinson Golf Coaching @ Sheffield Design Studio, Kelham Island, Sheffield. Anthony has over 15 years coaching experience and has delivered coaching at European Tour events including The Open Championship and for companies such as Adidas, Hilton Hotels and Sky Sports. For many the golf swing is seen as a mystery and its secrets kept to a select few. Anthony’s coaching philosophy is that impact is the overriding factor in all golf shots, and the swing

works backwards from there in the simplest way possible. An effective golf swing is one that is repeatable and delivers the club in such a way to produce the required shot. Anthony is a firm believer that in order to solve a problem you must first understand the cause and effects. Armed with the knowledge of the impact factors and their outcomes, you become the master of your own swing with the ability to recognise and correct any on-course issues within your game. A coaching session in the studio will allow you to discuss and develop your swing without

outside interferences, making your session time more productive. Anthony uses the Flightscope 3D Doppler Radar tracking system, that accurately measures and collects data from 25+ parameters in the clubhead and ball flight. 3D modelling is produced of the club head dynamics through impact and ball flight characteristics. With the combination of Flightscope Skills Testing, a complete profile of a golfers ability and performance can be created. This in turn determines the correct course of action for improvement.

For further information or to book a coaching session visit www.adgolfcoaching.com and use voucher code YIP15 to get 15%off any single coaching session.

How We Can Help Your Game Improve Swing We will break your swing down into simple stages to help you in hitting the ball longer, straighter and more consistently

Lower Score We will work with you to increase your consistency and confidence giving you the best opportunity to lower your scores and handicap
