Do you remember your first day at Xavier? Starting high school can be an exciting, but also nerve-racking experience. We’re counting on our alumni to step up and write a letter to an incoming freshman to ease that transition. We would love for every incoming freshman to receive a letter from a Xavier alum when beginning his/her freshman year. That means we have a lot of letters to collect, especially since this is an extra-large class! Please encourage fellow alumni to participate! Any alum can do it and it doesn’t take much time. The goal of this letter-writing campaign is to encourage and support incoming Xavier High School freshmen as they begin these formative years. Share words of wisdom, general advice, fond memories and friendly words. Letter Guidelines
· The letter is limited to one page handwritten or typed (most will be shorter).
· Please address the letter generically. · Our overall goal is to encourage incoming freshmen and
welcome them into the XHS community where they can thrive, get involved, and feel supported. Please email your letter no later than August 10, 2020 to lpfaff@xaviercatholicschools.org or mail to Xavier High School, Attn: Lisa Pfaff, 1600 W Prospect Ave, Appleton WI 54914. xaviercatholicschools.org 7
