It’s my pleasure to share with you the exciting news of the appointment of Terrence (Terry) Tyrrell as our new President for St Francis Xavier Catholic School System
Terry has more than 27 years of experience in Catholic education, most recently serving as President at Catholic Central High School in Grand Rapids, MI He has worn many hats throughout his career, including president, principal, teacher, and coach His leadership has been marked by commitment to Catholic faith-based education and academic excellence He is enthusiastic about this new journey with Xavier
Terry shares a deep understanding of the role faith plays in Catholic education, and we are excited about our future and the positive impact he will have on students and families
Terry will officially start as Xavier’s new president on July 1, 2025 During the interim, he will be immersing himself in our Xavier community and engaging with teachers and staff He is looking forward to meeting everyone at Xavier’s Celebrate on Saturday
