suggéré les actions pertinentes aux agents de santé et probablement conduit à une estimation nettement plus élevée des connaissances des agents que dans les quatre autres pays, où les agents de santé n’ont pas été aidés de cette manière et ont dû énumérer toutes les actions dont ils pouvaient se souvenir. C’est pourquoi, pour les connaissances, nous comparons les niveaux de performance uniquement dans les quatre autres pays, sans inclure la République démocratique du Congo.

Troisièmement, il y avait quelques différences dans les processus d’échantillonnage employés par les diverses équipes d’évaluation. Par exemple, l’évaluation était représentative à l’échelle nationale en République du Congo, mais dans les quatre autres pays, elle ne portait que sur les États ou provinces sélectionnés dans le cadre du projet pilote de financement basé sur la performance. En outre, notre échantillon se compose essentiellement d’établissements publics, avec quelques établissements confessionnels au Cameroun et en République démocratique du Congo. Par conséquent, nous ne présentons pas d’analyse groupée et ne considérons pas nos résultats comme représentatifs au niveau national dans tous les cas.
