West Michigan District Dental Society Welcomes 103 New Life Members At the MDA, ADA, and local levels, life membership is awarded to members who have 30 consecutive years of membership or 40 years total of membership. There are two categories of ADA and MDA life membership: active (working) and retired. Active Life Members are recognized for their continued membership and commitment to organized dentistry. Fully Retired Life Members do not pay dues. This change in membership structure brings 103 new Life Members into the WMDDS! Be sure to congratulate these colleagues for this accomplishment. Also, be on the lookout for the WMDDS to make proposed changes in its Constitution and Bylaws to follow the same changes made by the ADA (2020) and MDA (2021).
