

Lake Keowee is a Popular Destination for Home & Lot Buyers!
Lake Keowee is the Lake Tahoe of the Southeast, and with the commitment of several volunteer advocates, our beautiful freshwater lake remains a sought-out destination. Three of the four categories included in our 3rd quarter report showed increases in number of sales and average sale price, with only waterfront homesites showing a decrease year over year. A quick summary of this quarter’s report:
• Waterfront homes: Price Increase was +5.92% and volume/unit decrease were -7.30% with 137 homes closed
• Interior/off water homes: Price increase was +27.23% and volume/unit decrease were -22.31% with 121 homes closed.
• Waterfront Lot/Homesites: Price decrease was -8.99% and volume/unit decrease were -44.59% with 74 homesites closed.
• Interior or off-water Lots/Homesites: Price increase was +33.8% and volume/unit increase +.9% with 112 homesites closed.
