Welcome to our Lake Keowee Mid-Year 2024 Market Report. The results are in, and the truth is this: people want to be here and experience the lifestyle that Lake Keowee has to offer. The Cason Group of Keller Williams says that we are the Lake Tahoe of the Southeast. This beautiful lake continues to command price increases. Of the four categories we report on, only one, waterfront homesites, saw a decrease in year-over-year price with a -13.3% price decrease and a -65.91% decrease in number closed.

Despite inflation and interest rate increases, you will find competition for several of our properties.

Focusing on Lake Keowee which has approximately three hundred miles of shoreline and 26.1 miles long, you have your choice of neighborhoods. Communities rich in amenities include The Cliffs–comprised of four waterfront developments, The Reserve at Lake Keowee, and Keowee Key. Waterfront homes: Price Increase was +7.18% and volume/unit decrease were -18.82% with eightyfive homes closed.

Interior/off water homes: Price increase was +31.83% and volume/unit decrease were -13.16% with seventy-six homes closed.

Waterfront Homesites: Price decrease was -13.3% and volume/unit decrease were -65.91% with forty-four homesites closed.

Interior/off-water Homesites: Price increase was +31.2% and volume/unit increase were +21.7% with eighty-four homesites closed.
