It is mid-year 2025. Celebrating July 4th on Lake Keowee was full of fireworks, boats, and squealing children. What a joy to live in the land of the free and the home of the brave! Thank you for all of those that have made it possible for us to enjoy our liberties.

Lake Keowee, our own Lake Tahoe of the Southeast, continues to rock and roll. Waterfront homes sales prices are up 19.98% and units closed are up 6.59% year-over-year. There were 19 homes “pending” as of June 30th and 76 homes listed on our Western Upstate MLS. Compared to last year, the inventory increased by 23 homes. A greater selection attracts more buyers and that is what we witnessed. Interior homes are all of those that are not on the water. These homes may or may not come with a boat slip and some will be on a golf course or have a water view. The prices were slightly lower by -3.31% with a whopping increase in the number of properties closed, jumping to 23.68%
