What inspired your transition from wedding and event hosting vendor events? My inspiration came when I star custom gifts business and I had the bright idea to host an will allow other business owners to showcase their busin is where my LOVE for hosting vendor events came from A hosting vendor events, the event planner side will always they actually go hand in hand and I often find myself doin I'm working an event for another event host So, in retros an event planner just not catering to weddings, baby show birthday parties
Share a memorable moment from one of the vendor ev hosted Has there been a most rewarding moment? My memorable moment was when I decided to host an event year of hosting and it was memorable because I reached of the vendors that were a part of the very first event an more than happy to come back to celebrate that moment
My most rewarding moments will always be having return vendors, who I have built personal relationships with and turned into great friendships, so that will always make m inside and out
What challenges did you face when first starting as a v host in 2015? How have you overcome those challenges? challenges were and still are knowing how to properly ma event to ensure that it is a successful event for all parties this is one of the areas that is very risky, because there ar things that you can and can not do that will allow for goo not enough traffic
With this challenge ,it can lead to other challenges of ven being happy with the turnout of the event which can lead to a vendor not wanting to return
Where can our viewership go to connect with and support you?

I hosted my very first Barber & Beauty Expo in Columbus OH June 30,2024! Tasha was by far the best decision I’ve ever made with hiring her as my vendor coordinator Tasha is an awesome communicator, she goes above and beyond her line of work she literally sprung into action the day of the event after completing her vendor coordination job she proceeded to take charge of coordinating the flow of my event when she saw things going to shambles. She stepped up and made my event flow exactly how I imagined. I am so grateful for her not only did I find an amazing business oriented person but I found a life long friend she knew how to communicate effectively while correcting me on errors I could have made leading up to my event She even found the perfect venue I am grateful for Tasha 10/10 recommended in my books ! Can’t wait for the next one ♥

As a event promoter I have always engaged with vendors Most recently my events have required the presence of more vendors I was encouraged to give this vendor coordinator a chance at increasing my vendor presence Giving Latasha a chance is one of the best business decisions I have ever made. Having a vendor coordinator putting vendors in place is good thing. Now having a vendor coordinator who is base out of Columbus, Ohio working your events located in Atlanta, Georgia is A GREAT THING As a event promoter I am very pleased and satisfied with the services provided by Alphonso Parsons- Host of Black Owned and Operated in Morrow, GA

Tips on being a successful vendor is to be open-minded when being a part of any event, because all events will not be the same
When you register to be a vendor at an event and you go into it with an open mind,it makes it easier to not have any high expectations during the event,it allows the business owner to just enjoy the day and to see what the day brings
Your biggest takeaway from any event will be who did I meet new today and how can we help one another.
Take the time to research the different types of events,so that you can determine what events are a good fit for you and your business Every event isn't going to be for you and once you have come to that conclusion this journey will become easier to enjoy
A few things to keep in mindHigh traffic events don't always guarantee sales Stand and greet everyone that approaches your table. Don't clutter your table with products. Be kind to your vendor neighbors Have fun Network
Who am I as a Vendor Coordinator?
Latasha as a Vendor Coordinator ,is like the gravy on your chicken YOU NEED ME !!!
My years of offering my Vendor Coordinator service has allowed me the opportunity to network with some amazing event hosts and travel doing what I love.
Many are amazed at the drive that I have when it comes to this service and even just the service itself, because there are so many hosts that would rather have someone designated for that particular role,so after a consultation it always ends with "I need you"
So, you ask what is a Vendor Coordinator?
A Vendor Coordinator is a person who takes on the role and duties of securing professional business owners for any event that will be catered to vendors
As the vendor coordinator I take on the responsibilities of and knowing what the concept of the event is to ensure that I select the business owners that will be a great fit for that particular event, this goes back to the tip that was given in reference to researching events I myself have to do the same thing while securing vendors to make sure that the service and products will be a good fit for that event
In my role as the vendor coordinator, I also take on the responsibility of being the point of contact for that event, which entails communication from beginning to the end I am responsible for sending out registration information ,payment details, setup details and answering all questions leading up to the day of the event Within the service, I also offer a day of service where I will attend the event and will be responsible for the day of event setup for the vendor tables and ensuring that all vendors are set up before the start of the event
I have had the pleasure of offering my service for years and have been privileged to be the vendor coordinator for city festivals, bridal shows beauty expos, health and wellness events and larger vendor events I do all of my events with the same amount of work no matter how small or large the event is I WILL ALWAYS GIVE 100%
My motto to my clients is,allow me to take the stress from you,so that you can focus on the success of your event
