LET’S GET SET As we approach the year 2025, it's the perfect time to reflect on our personal growth and set new goals for the future. In today's fast-paced world, we often get caught up in our daily routines and forget to prioritize our own growth and development. But with the right mindset and tools, we can empower ourselves to achieve our dreams and become the best version of ourselves. Let's dive into some actionable steps to reset and reach our full potential in 2025.

Step 1: Reflect and Reset As we look towards the future, it's important to take a step back and reflect on our past accomplishments and failures. This allows us to learn from our experiences and reset our mindset for the future. Take some time to journal and identify your strengths, weaknesses, and areas for improvement. This will help you set realistic goals and focus on what truly matters to you.

Step 2: Create a Vision Board A vision board is a powerful tool that can help you visualize your goals and manifest them into reality.

EMPOWER HER FASHION Deniece Pittman is a wife and mother of 3 Adult children and 1 fury child. As an hairstylist for over 35+ years, her goal was to always create space for women to embrace their inner beauty outwardly. In 2017, she took those same sentiments outside of the salon and Co founded, At The Table, a non profit Organization serving women and girls.

Deniece is also a 2x cancer survivor and currently has a scholarship in her honor.

She’s also a serial entrepreneur and fashion model. Today she inspires to make an impact on women and girls everywhere!

HOW FASHION BEGAN with Voszi

I am a fashion designer and artist. I also sew my own designs and create my jewelry. Began in 1982.

I always liked to draw clothing, accessories and jewelry as far back as the age of 4. This left me wanting to create the fashions.

I have many customers from Columbus and Beyond. I have a big audience at my annual fashion show, this year on Oct. 13th is my 41st Annual. Many people shop at my boutique/studio "The House of Voszi"

I pick fabrics that I love, mix and match them together, walk around looking at them and praying about them until I come up with just the right combinations. I begin to sew and design as I go!

Just came into my style as time went on, it was natural and made perfect sense to me. I loved mixing interesting fabric and color I didn"t start sewing until I was 25 years old. I tried using store bought patterns and it didn"t make sense to me so I started doing my own technique without the patterns, button or zipper closures.

When I first started out, it was hard to get my designs into fashion shows etc....so I started doing my own. Listening and learning from the people GOD put in my path to learn from.

FASHION MEETS Gospel

At the age of 14 Corey Winborn taught himself how to sew. Little did he know that by 19 he would be creating designs for he and his group mates and later on many groups in r&b and national gospel artist.

He is a mentor and really invest time into pouring knowledge into those interested in fashion design and styling. He feels giving and blessing should be as easy as breathing. Growth is apart of greatness and giving back just continues to sprout new talent for the future in his eyes.

He believes life is a chess game that should be played at its best strategy to win the game. He will continue to encourage, push people to go for your dreams. Prove that dreams are real and can be achieved.

When Did You Start Having a Love for Fashion?

I started in fashion at the age of 14. Since our family didn't have much money for great clothing, I used my mom's sewing machine. I found designer suits at the thrift store and put them together to create my style. This is how I became known by my peers for dressing differently.

What Trends Do You Like to Follow?

I am not a follower of current fashion trends. Some of my inspirations are from the Europeans because they are years ahead of the trends. GQ magazine is another place I look for style.

I am always interested in styles that are years ahead of the current trends. Anything inspires me. Daily life is inspirational if you have a vision.

At 19, I remember wearing checkered pants and oversized tops. At that time, not many were known to be creative.

Everyone could be seen as if they had worked collectively. Being different has given me confidence, and to this day, I still carry myself in that same manner.

Have You Worked with Other Designers?

I've worked with several artists. My most memorable group is MGH (Men of God's Heart). I was their stylist for ten years for every album. During that time, we became brothers. I even had the opportunity to style them for their videos and the Stellar Awards. You could have come across my work with other groups for major concerts.

What Advice Would You Give?

Know your value. Ensure your price matches your skills. Never second-guess yourself, and never let anyone undercut your value. If they aren't your client, they aren't your client. Your client will pay your worth.

When I entered the game of fashion, no one helped me. I vowed then that I would help anyone who was hungry for success. Some listened, and some didn't. I'm blessed that God allowed me to do what I love and to give back, and for that, I am thankful. I often tell mentees that fashion is like chess. Stay five steps ahead in business decisions and creative choices. And know that the fashion industry is emotional.

Emotions drive creativity and art. Just remember not to allow emotions to guide your business decisions. There are no emotions in good business—just common sense. That's a real problem with artist success.

Make good decisions, be good to everyone, and pass it forward. I have done all these things and have made phenomenal relationships in this game. With this, I honor God.
