Responsibility: Fiskars Village is a combination of a historic industrial village and modern art and design. The old industrial buildings of the ironworks are used by hotels, cafés, restaurants, and creative artists. Fiskars Village has focused on responsible tourism. They have switched from oil to district heating produced from local wood chips in over 100 buildings. The restaurants mainly offer local and organic food, and the Slow Food Festival in October is already famous.
