Year-round activities: The entrepreneur, Jenni Levävaara, has long had a vision of the fact that nature and related wellness services are new trends in tourism.

She made her vision a reality in 2019, by moving into the woods and setting up Rahgamo Resort. It is a conference and wellness centre for corporate customers, next to a wetland in the middle of the Finnish wilderness.

It is a magical place. The wetland and boardwalks take you on a great journey to enjoy nature in different seasons and times of day, even coming across forest fairies or a moose scratching itself against an ancient tree.

Responsibility: Based on customer feedback, companies have found solutions to long-standing issues at Rahgamo Resort, in the quiet of the wilderness, undisturbed by distractions or interruptions. This is a responsible business from start to finish: from the clean, home-made local food to natural materials and recycling in the buildings and their interior.
