Dining in a money vault “
Responsibility: This imposing stone building in the centre of Parkano is now a restaurant. Raijanholvi is a great place to eat, celebrate, or arrange a meeting in the old bank hall, the bank manager’s office or the great vault downstairs. You can choose a bank-themed service or a coin pastry with your coffee. The restaurant has made good use of old bank props from various decades, from piggy banks to old money and photography. The entrepreneur, Raija Laaksonen, has created the brand RL – Rakkaudesta Luontoon (for the love of nature). She has developed a natural product full of authentic flavours, accentuating the colours and tastes of Finnish nature. Her RL meringue is a Geopark product

produced by a local company in the Unesco Global Geopark. She has also created the Geonalle (geoteddy) concept around psychological, physical and social wellbeing. The concept includes products from beanies to chocolate and camping cups. Her inspiration has been the nearby Unesco Lauhanvuori-Hämeenkangas Geopark.
