Marion Debruyne is the first female dean of the Vlerick Business School. As a child, she dreamed of a career as a ballerina, but she eventually went on to study civil engineering. After a PhD in marketing, she became a professor. She has taught at various American universities. Her book Customer Innovation won the CMI award. Katleen De Stobbeleir is a full professor at Vlerick Business School and KU Leuven. For a long time, she thought that she was destined for a career in an NGO, but after studying occupational psychology she discovered her passion for coaching, leadership and research. She has also worked at various foreign universities, including in China and the US.
