Jan Loos can call himself one of the most important wolf experts of the Low Countries. Already in 2011, he launched the Welcome Wolf campaign to prepare the public opinion for the return of an indigenous top predator. When the first wolf set foot again on Flemish soil in 2018, he was at the forefront of observations and information. He is co-founder of nature association Landschap vzw.
