Self-help Worrying
Worrying Action as a remedy
Filip Raes
Simple answers to the most frequently asked questions Scientific research translated into a powerful to-the-point approach Very recognisable and with striking examples
What if...? I'm worried that... Shouldn’t I have... ?
We are often convinced that by worrying we can come up with a solution for things that occupy our minds . The opposite is true: all that worrying keeps you stuck in your head, and you rarely come to action and solutions. Your life is 'on a break' and in the meantime you will only feel worse.
This book describes how Filip Raes, as a behavioral therapist, works with worrying. Even though you can never completely ban worrying from your life, you can deal with it differently. By noticing worrying more quickly and at times taking action much faster, you paralyze worrying, and there is more time in your life for things that really matter.
