ENGINEERING INNOVATION WITH FAMILY ROOTS
Steve Vick International’s evolving role in utility safety
From gas mains to digital testing and pipe handling, the family-run business is setting new standards in trenchless technology through in-house R&D and sector-driven solutions.
By Austen Lees, Editor, Trenchless Works
“
The next government will need to make significant decisions regarding national infrastructure plans within a very short timeframe
Caspar Vick Managing Director Steve Vick International
Sitting down with Managing Director Caspar Vick it is almost impossible not to sense his tremendous pride in leading a business that exudes a strong family feel and entrepreneurial spirit.
Founded by its current Chairman, Steve Vick, in 1981, the company’s core business and stellar reputation have been built around its work in the gas replacement sector. Today, it supplies mains replacement equipment and
consumables to four of the UK’s main gas distribution network operators (GDNs), while also partnering on several significant R&D projects.
This work, coupled with recent expansion into the nuclear decommissioning market, has seen the company employ 112 people nationwide tripling its headcount since relocating to a new head office in Bradford-onAvon in 2014.
As we talk, it becomes clear that the company’s diversity is one of its key strengths. In addition to mains replacement and pipeline repair, it offers extensive R&D services through a team of engineers and field technicians, plant hire, contract services for specialised pipeline operations, and the SMARTester app, now used by three of the six major UK energy providers, including E.ON and Octopus.
Caspar is rightly proud of two relatively recent innovations
SAFE, SMART PIPE HANDLING
developed almost entirely by the Steve Vick team.
SMARTester
The SMARTester is a digital pressure gauge that provides clients such as EDF with a searchable bank of definitive test evidence, offering reassurance on traceability.
Ideal for smart metering and used both upstream and downstream of the meter, the system promotes competency by accurately recording every step of the testing process. Its ability to guide engineers through industry test stages guarantees compliance and safeguards the operator.
Caspar highlights that developing the accompanying app was a wholly new experience for the team. However, through their dedication and the expertise of their R&D department, they successfully completed the
Coil Control
Coil Control is Steve Vick International’s answer to the industry’s need for safer HDPE pipe uncoiling. Designed to neutralise the stored energy within coiled pipe, this tool reduces the risk of sudden release injuries and supports safer, cleaner worksites — especially in tight or high-risk conditions.
entire development in-house. This achievement not only resulted in a market-leading product but also established a new digital capability that will benefit the company going forward.
Coil Control
Coil Control marks a significant breakthrough in the safe handling of coiled HDPE pipes, addressing a key safety concern in the industry, the sudden release of stored kinetic energy within the coils. By automatically neutralising this energy, the system enables safer handling and uncoiling, greatly reducing risks for operators working in challenging on-site environments.
Furthermore, Coil Control offers environmental advantages by allowing operators to use only the necessary length of pipe for each project, the device can be stopped and removed as needed, leaving the remaining pipe available for future use.
In addition to the coil control device, the company has implemented additional guarding and developed a new tool that allows contractors to cut bands from ground level, maintaining a safe distance from the trailer. Together, these look set to revolutionise the market by providing contractors with safer, more efficient solutions.
In addition to the company’s clear passion for R&D innovation, its successful diversification is driven, in part, by the realisation that the UK’s gas mains replacement programme is scheduled to end in 2030, with decisions still pending on whether it will be extended. The business is ready to assist with the engineering of complex works yet to be completed, particularly in major cities
where infrastructure often dates back to Victorian times. Caspar emphasises that refurbishing this segment of the gas network “will require the adoption of low-impact, trenchless technologies to minimise disruption to city road networks.”
The lack of a definitive decision on the extension of the UK Gas Main Replacement Programme naturally leads to a broader discussion about the country’s pursuit of net zero. Caspar points out that “the next government will need to make significant decisions regarding national infrastructure plans within a very short timeframe” and questions how the UK plans to meet its ambitious carbon reduction targets without a clear pathway. He notes that difficult decisions have regularly been deferred, with headlinegrabbing policies masking a need to tackle the core issues.
Despite these challenges, Caspar remains optimistic, and it’s easy to see why. The company’s diverse portfolio presents considerable growth potential, including expanding its work in the nuclear decommissioning sector, such as foam filling of pipework, enabling safe cutting and removal without radiation release.
It was a pleasure to speak with Caspar, and this article only scratches the surface of our discussion. I haven’t even mentioned their team member attempting the world record for the fastest half-marathon dressed as a 3D aircraft, designed by their in-house sewing team! Nonetheless, it was inspiring to gain further insight into the business, and I look forward to catching up with them again soon.
TRACEABILITY MEETS TESTING
SMARTester
Developed in-house by Steve Vick International, SMARTester is a digital gas pressure testing system that combines accuracy, traceability, and ease of use.
With app-guided test stages and secure data storage, it promotes competency and compliance, delivering peace of mind for network operators and engineers alike.
Thames Water seeks tunnelling specialists for major drought resilience scheme
Thames Water has launched procurement for tunnelling and connection works required to deliver its nationally significant Teddington Direct River Abstraction project, a critical step in securing long-term water resilience for London.
W ith the capital facing a projected shortfall of 1 billion litres of water per day by 2050, the UK’s largest water utility is advancing plans for this vital drought mitigation scheme. Once operational, the project will provide up to 75 million litres of water per day during times of drought, supported by advanced water recycling technologies.
The scheme forms a key component of Thames Water’s Water Resources Management Plan (WRMP), which sets out strategic water security objectives through to 2075. Funding has been approved under the utility’s 2025–2030 business plan, with construction expected to begin in 2029, subject to planning consent.
Following a year of market engagement, Thames Water has now issued a tender notice for the tunnelling and connection works, which will include:
“ The capital and our customers rely on us for a safe and secure supply of water, and this project is vital as we face the twin challenges of population growth and climate change
• A 4.2km tunnel connecting a new tertiary treatment plant (for recycled water) to the River Thames, upstream of Teddington Weir, constructed using tunnel boring methods.
• A pipe-jacked connection tunnel (up to 2.2m ID) linking the river abstraction point — located approximately 175m upstream of the proposed outfall — to the existing Thames Lee Tunnel.
“We’re seeking industry-leading tunnelling experts to help us deliver this nationally significant infrastructure project,” said Mohit Farmah, Head of Procurement and Supply Chain at Thames Water.
“The capital and our customers rely on us for a safe and secure supply of water, and this project is vital as we face the twin challenges of population growth and climate change.”
API’s new ROV crawler makes UK debut in United Utilities project
API is working with partners from Norway to offer long range depressurised water pipeline inspections up to a range of 2500m from a single-entry point.
The system unlike conventional crawler cameras includes a small diameter, lightweight umbilical cable, inline battery pack and 6-wheel drive system.
The first project has already been awarded and completed this week, working with United Utilities on a 1000mm concrete outfall line. The pipeline runs a total length of 1.5km with previous companies limited to a survey range of 500m only.
The benefit of using this type of system is it significantly reduces the need for multiple excavations to insert a camera to survey lines, also on some locations there isn’t even the option to dig trial holes due to ground structure, incline and properties built above.
Camera entry points
The ROV system is designed to enter a pipeline via a wide range of entry points, the systems size can be altered by changing the wheels to determine cameras overall dimensions.
The ROV system is fully battery operated, includes a 4K pan/ tilt/zoom camera with sonde
“ Regarding PIPA, we have developed the widest range of pressurised pipe inspection products commercially available in the world, and have worked with the majority of the UK water utility companies and a wide range of clients overseas
for pipe tracing, and enters the pipeline via a range of openings.
Applications to the water sector
• Depressurised water pipe condition assessment tool
• Pipe material, joint and lining validation
• Location of pipe defects, blockages and buried valves
• Investigate the source of dirty water prior to customer complaints (DWI)
• Asset management budget validation device
• Identify illegal connections on both water and drainage mains (NRW)
• Long range Hydro/aqueduct inspections
• Mains tracing, line and level
Survey results
The team successfully surveyed the entire pipeline in a single day to identify pipe condition, trace fittings, in this case an unknown 90-degree bend, and also pipe break ins where openings had been made from external sources.
All video information is supplied in MP4 format supported by a detailed data report compiled by API.
API representative Fabio Orlandi commented ‘‘API Specialises in under pressure water pipe inspections using PIPA Technology, however due to increased demand overseas API is also networking with other specialist companies to offer a wider range of services others cannot offer in the UK.
I never like to turn work down, in fact I strive in sourcing or creating a tool to support our wide client base on all projects, then in turn we can add another system to the API tool box!
Regarding PIPA, we have developed the widest range of pressurised pipe inspection products commercially available in the world, and have worked with the majority of the UK water utility companies and a wide range of clients overseas.’’

Leadership and innovation in sewer rehabilitation
RSM’s Phil Steele on standards, sustainability, and scaling up
in sewer rehabilitation
As demand for trenchless rehabilitation continues to grow, RSM Lining Supplies is leading the charge, expanding global capacity, advancing certification, and championing smarter, sustainable solutions.
By Austen Lees, Editor, Trenchless Works
Rapid sustainable growth
Founded in 2003 by the current Managing Director, Richard Davis, RSM now employs 65 people and is on track to meet this year’s turnover forecast of approximately £28 million. This rapid growth has established the company as the market leader in CIPP (Cured-In-Place Pipe) supplies

The company’s continually expanding product range is driven by a simple yet ambitious mission: “To provide the full package of choice and technology to the sewer
Phil Steele Sales Director RSM
rehabilitation industry.” This capability is underpinned by exclusive agreements, strong symbiotic relationships with suppliers, and a dedicated team focused on adding genuine value for contractors and water authorities globally.
An ever-expanding portfolio
RSM’s commitment to being a one-stop shop for CIPP lining is reflected in its retail of some of the sector’s best-known brands, such as Sewertronics, Dancutter, Applied Felts, and BKP Berolina, alongside a continually deepening range of
their own branded products like Pipe Aid, Rapid Seal, and Speedy Liner, to name a few.
As we talk, Phil highlights two key product ranges which he sees as being ideally placed to continue delivering growth:
• Fero Force: RSM’s structural pressure pipe rehabilitation system manufactured and supplied from the UK. Developed specifically for pressure pipes and rising mains, this inversion liner reinforced with fibre glass can withstand pressures up to 12 bar and is available in diameters from 150mm.

Designed specifically for the UK and Australian trenchless rehabilitation markets, they provide solutions tailored to the needs of the modern industry. Both machines are engineered to meet the increasing demand for electrically powered, compact, and highly manoeuvrable cutters capable of delivering precision performance in confined and challenging environments.
Scaling up capacity sustainably
Phil emphasises that one of the sector’s biggest challenges is “scaling up capacity”. He notes, “Contractors are continually being asked to increase their capabilities, which is great, but what’s really needed is clearer visibility of the future demand for equipment and supplies .” >
Fero Force Pressure Liner
Fero Force is RSM’s highperformance solution for pressure pipe rehabilitation. Manufactured in the UK, this glass-reinforced liner is engineered to withstand up to 12 bar of pressure, making it ideal for rising mains and other critical assets. Installed via inversion, Fero Force delivers structural integrity, chemical resistance, and longevity, all with a proven track record across the UK and international markets.

To support this growth, RSM has expanded its impregnation facility at its Doncaster headquarters, increasing from one to three lines and extending shift patterns to nearly 24 hours a day. This enables the company to meet tight deadline and recently saw the team impregnating 7.8 km of liner in just four weeks using 44,000 kg of resin.
The company has also developed a fully automated quality assurance process, utilising video and photographic
documentation to give customers confidence that their liners are manufactured to exact specifications.
The need for increased certification
Regarding standards, Phil advocates for confidence and transparency. “If a gas engineer were working on your boiler, you’d want them to have the right certification,” he says.
RSM aims to offer increased choice to water authorities
“
We want networks to know that the products being used have been tested and are suitable for the job, and that the installers have the skills and experience necessary to use the products correctly
through their product portfolio, while also providing reassurance via additional WRC approvals. “We want networks to know that the products being used have been tested and are suitable for the job, and that the installers have the skills and experience necessary to use the products correctly, ensuring long-lasting improvements to water infrastructure.”
Historically, dirty water has been seen as the “poor relation” to drinking water, and CIPP was often regarded
CP655-Tested Resin
Meeting the highest infiltration resistance standards in the industry, RSM’s CP655Tested Resin sets a new benchmark for CIPP lining projects. One of the first resins ever to pass the rigorous CP655 criteria, it’s designed for contractors seeking long pot life, exceptional bond strength, and confidence in wet environments. Also available: RSM’s CP308-tested resin, the first of its kind in over 17 years.

as a bit of a “dark art”. RSM is actively working to change this perception by increasing the number of tested and certified products they offer, with their range of WRc-approved products and services. These include Pipe Aid, Speedy Liner, Hot Cure Epoxy Resin, and CIPP Lining & Patching Training Courses.
In response to increasing industry demand, RSM has also developed two innovative resins that not only meet but exceed the rigorous requirements of the CP308 and CP655 infiltration tests. In 2024, they introduced the first CP308 tested resin to the market in over 17 years and one of the first-ever CP655 tested resins. These products offer contractors reliable, longpot-life solutions designed to
“
Personally, I would consider extending the AMP periods because five years isn’t a great deal of time for delivering this kind of infrastructure. Initially, new contractors need time to establish themselves and resource each contract properly
reduce water infiltration in sewerage systems. Training is also a key focus for Phil, who was instrumental in developing a WRC-approved, EU Skills-accredited training course that combines classroom learning, practical experience, and assessment to ensure the industry has the skilled workforce it needs for the future.
Considering adjustments to the AMP cycle
When asked about managing demand peaks within the Asset Management Plan (AMP) cycle, Phil suggests, “Personally, I would consider extending the AMP periods because five years isn’t a great deal of time for delivering this kind of infrastructure. Initially, new contractors need time to establish themselves and resource each contract properly. Then, from a year out, they are starting to think about whether the contract will renew, meaning the delivery phase of the cycle isn’t as long as you think.”
Final reflection
Before learning more about RSM, I perhaps saw RSM primarily as a bulk supplier of equipment and supplies. However, after gaining a deeper understanding, it’s clear that there is much more at play. Phil and the team demonstrate a genuine desire to raise standards across the sector, supporting contractors and water authorities alike. Their wealth of experience and innovative approach shows they are committed to increasing the availability of environmentally, socially, and commercially sustainable solutions for UK and global water networks.
Gecko E Series Cutters
Purpose-built for today’s trenchless rehabilitation market, RSM’s Gecko E Lateral and Gecko E Power cutters offer electric precision in a compact, highly manoeuvrable design.

Empowering Progress: DCA spring talks 2025 sets a new standard for the HDD Industry
In a bold and progressive step for the HDD industry, the first-ever DCA Spring Talks took place 27 May in Aachen, Germany. This is a landmark event initiated by Women Empowering HDD (WE-HDD) and supported by the Drilling Contractors Association (DCA). Originally launched to address gender imbalance and increase participation across the sector, WE-HDD has since evolved into a dedicated task group of passionate women from leading HDD companies. Together, they are actively championing collaboration, innovation, and inclusion across the industry.
The origin of WE-HDD: More than just representation
Two years ago, the DCA board posed a vital question: How can we bring 50% of the talent in the population into our workforce? The answer led to the formation of WE-HDD, a task group dedicated to empowering women in the HDD sector. Because this is no longer just about representation. It’s about growth, welcoming new perspectives, and building an
industry that’s more resilient and ready for the future.
DCA spring talks is a tangible result of that mission.
A powerful program packed with knowledge and connection
The day brought together professionals, engineers, and visionaries from across Europe. The agenda was carefully designed to strike a balance between technical insights and broader industry development.
The event opened with a warm welcome from Jorn Stoelinga, President of the DCA, alongside Cindy Dirkx, independent pipeline specialist, who set the tone for an inspiring day ahead.
Technical excellence on display

Driving recruitment and awareness: The drill for Europe platform
Among the many contributions during the day, Elsedien McCormack shared an important initiative addressing one of the industry’s most pressing challenges: the shortage of skilled workers in HDD.
Through her presentation, attendees were introduced to the Drill for Europe platform, supported by a DCA task group and launched with the help of a dedicated recruitment video. The video highlights the dynamic and diverse career paths within HDD aiming to spark interest in younger generations and those new to the sector.
More than just a promotional tool, the platform offers:
• A career test to help people discover where they might fit in the HDD world
• A central hub where DCA members can list job
openings
• Informative blogs to demystify the HDD process
• Clear entry points for both technical fieldwork and office-based roles
The initiative is already helping bridge the gap between industry needs and new talent, reinforcing the broader goal of the event: to grow, connect, and future-proof the HDD workforce.
Each speaker brought valuable expertise while reinforcing the event’s key message: leadership and diversity go hand-in-hand.
Building a community that supports and grows together
In between presentations, attendees connected over coffee breaks, lunch, and a relaxed after-work networking session. The conversations extended beyond engineering: work-life balance, mentorship, career entry points, and the future of recruitment in HDD were all hot topics.
One of the final highlights of the day was a lively and insightful discussion workshop led by Cindy Dirkx, focusing on how companies in the HDD sector can create more attractive, inclusive, and supportive work environments for women.
The session invited open conversation, real-life experiences, and practical suggestions from participants across the industry. Topics included flexible work structures, mentorship programs, visibility of women in leadership, and making
construction sites more welcoming for everyone.
With the valuable input and ideas gathered during this workshop, Cindy Dirkx will now compile a practical toolkit, a resource aimed at helping companies take real steps toward more inclusive hiring and workplace culture.
This toolkit, designed for all DCA members, will be available soon and will include actionable recommendations and examples of how to implement lasting, positive change within your organisation.

Our expertise is supported by in-house tools, proprietary modelling software, and a deep understanding of what’s required to deliver successful projects in complex, real-world conditions
The DieDraw® process is a well-established technique with a proven track record. Originally developed in the 1980s in a joint effort between the Gas and Water industries, it has since been used to rehabilitate over a million metres of pipeline in the UK alone – and significantly more globally. Today, the DieDraw® process continues to evolve through our engineering-led approach and project-specific optimisation.
How does it work? By drawing a PE100 liner through a reduction die, DieDraw® delivers a fully structural solution that restores pipeline integrity while maintaining maximum flow capacity. With a 100-year design life, Reg31 compliance, and exceptionally low whole-life cost, it provides asset owners with a viable, high-performance alternative to full replacement. And because it installs a new pipe within the existing one, it satisfies regulatory definitions of pipeline replacement.
Installation is fast, efficient, and well-suited to live networks where disruption must be minimised. What appears simple in execution is underpinned by months of detailed engineering – from advanced materials modelling to bespoke die design –ensuring safety, reliability, and repeatable performance.
Die Draw Ltd is home to some of the most experienced engineers in the industry – including individuals directly involved in the development of Water Industry Specifications and thermoplastic standards. Our expertise is supported by in-house tools, proprietary modelling software, and a deep understanding of what’s required to deliver successful projects in complex, real-world conditions.
Whether you’re seeking a sustainable, engineered alternative to traditional replacement or exploring new approaches to long-term network resilience – we’d love to meet you. Please visit us at Stand 19 to learn more. Die Draw Ltd – Engineeringled. Performance-proven.

The Applied in JBP’s Applied Trenchless Training Workshops
Frank Reilly Director JBP’s Trenchless, Training Programme
When we at JBP Trenchless Training included the word ‘Applied’ in the title of our ‘Applied Trenchless Training Workshops’, it was more than just a branding exercise. It was very deliberate – a mission statement. The workshops aren’t conventional technical lectures, nor are they product demos masquerading as continuous professional development training. Rather, they occupy a valuable space where practical knowledge, field insight, and commercial
innovation intersect—offering valuable real-world insight and experience to engineers, contractors, clients, and even academics working across the trenchless sector.
Across recent editions of the workshops—most recently at Trenchless Asia 2025 in Kuala Lumpur, Trenchless Middle East 2024 in Dubai, and Trenchless Asia 2024 in Manila—the emphasis has consistently been on bringing applied insight to the surface. The sessions, delivered by experienced practitioners, product specialists and international experts drawn from across the sector, offer concise, informationrich presentations that go beyond the theoretical. These workshops are curated to bridge the gap between product innovation and practical implementation.
Take, for example, in the TA2025 Applied Workshops, a session led by Michael Yuen and Kadin Choi of Andrews. Engineer. Their talk on AI and sewer pipe condition
inspection was, on the surface, technical. But what made it compelling—and applicable— was the grounding of these advanced tools in the day-today challenges of municipal condition assessment. Likewise, the demonstration by BKP Berolina on UV-CIPP was both a commercial presentation and an educational opportunity, outlining real-world applications, logistical considerations, and performance outcomes in the field.
The session by Shauna Herron and her colleague Shaun McShane from Environmental Techniques offered another standout example of applied insight. Their presentation on using drones to inspect pipelines showcased not only the evolving role of UAVs in the trenchless toolkit but also how this technology is being used right now—on-site, in challenging environments, and often where traditional inspection methods fall short. It provided a clear view of how drones are transforming
access, data capture, and safety practices in pipeline inspection work.
Similarly, case studies—such as the Quick-Lock rehabilitation projects presented by Applied Pipeline Services in the Middle East or Sabah-based UV-CIPP projects from CitiTrenchless— offer not just marketing material but digestible lessons in what works, what doesn’t, and why. The presenters don’t shy away from sharing logistical constraints, environmental factors, or human resource issues—providing a holistic view of project delivery.
This practical relevance is what sets apart the format of Applied Workshops programmes, and provides a great complement to the main conference programmes. The workshops are concise, free to attend, and deliberately positioned alongside industry exhibitions, which makes them easily accessible and contextually relevant. The programmes — from the diverse insights of global trenchless champions like Dr Dec Downey and Prof. Sam Ariaratnam to rising regional voices in Asia and the Middle East — aim to be as pragmatic as they are informative.
The commercial context of many presentations is not a drawback—it’s a strength. It reflects a wider shift in how trenchless knowledge is being shared. Businesses, after all, are where much of the innovation and R&D investment takes place. Allowing space for product developers and specialist contractors to share their solutions, not just their slides, adds a layer of experiential learning and knowhow transfer.
Indeed, the intersection of education, business, and
training is one of the unspoken themes of JBP’s workshops. That theme is a constant preoccupation for us when designing our programmes, as is the challenge of educating the next generation. This discussion centres not only on what to teach but also on how and where to deliver it, as we aim to provide a platform, wherever and whenever possible, recognising that education is most effective when it connects practice and evolving situational realities.
With each edition, the JBP workshops continue to demonstrate that “applied” must be more than a buzzword in the title of our workshop programmes. It means bringing together manufacturers, engineers, academics and end users in shared spaces to learn and exchange knowledge. It means shining a spotlight on relevance while not ignoring the theory and always seeking to answer the unspoken question: “How does this help me solve my problem or meet my challenges?”
I am delighted to tell you we will once again be partnering with our colleagues at Westrade and delivering our next programme
of Applied Trenchless Training Workshops at the upcoming Trenchless Middle East, in Saudi Arabia, in November of this year. And of course, we couldn’t deliver the workshops programme without the fantastic cooperation of all those companies, organisations and individuals who generously share their applied knowledge, experience and real-world insights for the benefit of all trenchless professionals.
P.S. Don’t forget to have your say in our monthly Training poll on LinkedIn!
In the next issue: New markets & the importance of training.

NO-DIG ROADSHOW SERIES 2026
A message from the Chair
Although AMP 8 is now up and running we have yet to see how the Water companies will interpret the PCD’s particularly in relationship to Enhancement. This is particularly important to our trenchless industry as it may limit the trenchless options available for Water Companies that will meet with OFWAT’s expectations.
We hope you experience a worthwhile day at the No-Dig Roadshow in Sheffield on 25 June. I extend my heartfelt thanks to our speakers for contributing to this compelling programme, we are confident you will benefit from our thoughtfully selected presentations. Our next event will be the 4th New to Trenchless Industry Network Online 14.0016.00 BST on Thursday 17th July focusing on Investigation and Assessment. Please contact admin@ukstt.org.uk for more details
This will be my final plug for the 2025 UKSTT awards, which will be presented at our Awards dinner in October. The deadline date for entries is the 4th July 2025.
It’s now easier than ever to enter with plenty of guidance available if needed.
Although traditionally most entries received are for Water Industry projects, we at the UKSTT are keen to engage with all companies involved within the trenchless industry so we welcome entries for trenchless projects from all utility sectors, Gas, Telecoms, Power, Rail, Renewables etc.

A message from the Chair
Dear ISTT Members,
As you may be aware, we have a full calendar of National, Regional, and International NoDig events scheduled for 2025. Please remember to check the ISTT event calendar on our website to stay updated.
So far this year, I have attended No-Dig events in Tianjin (China), Denver (USA), and Krakow (Poland) in March and April; as well as ITTC (Suzhou, China) and Trenchless Asia (Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia) in May. Our next big event will be International No-Dig 2025 in Vancouver, it’s time to plan your trip! Please visit the conference website to register for the conference and exhibition.
During the Vancouver event, we will also hold our International Council meeting, present our awards, and conduct elections for new leadership positions. This includes the election of a new Chair, one Vice-Chair, and two new Board of Directors members. Please don’t forget to nominate candidates and campaign for these important roles. We will also host a chairman’s dinner and welcome reception to help you grow your professional network.
I’d also like to highlight the increasing cooperation between regional societies across Europe and Asia, an important factor in fostering new technologies and business opportunities across different regions.
These regional No-Dig events play a key role by bringing together governing bodies, consultants, contractors, and suppliers in our industry.
Additionally, we plan to hold new No-Dig conferences in the Middle East, India, and other parts of Asia in the coming months. I strongly encourage you to participate in these local and regional events. Also, do keep an eye out for our educational webinars, please visit the ISTT website for updates and registration.
Our new website is now live, and we’d appreciate your feedback on it. Please feel free to send your suggestions to me or to our Executive Director so we can continue to improve. Finally, as an ISTT member, your input into our strategic plan and committee work is invaluable, after all, ISTT belongs to you.
I look forward to seeing you soon at International No-Dig Vancouver!
All The Best
