MELISSA FEIGHT Melissa’s story is one of transformation and determination. Having worked as a lead veterinary technician for many years, she realized she had reached the limit of her professional growth and wanted something more entrepreneurial. She yearned for a career with no limits and the flexibility to care for her children. With courage and conviction, she took the bold step of switching to real estate, a field she was always intrigued by. Despite the challenges and uncertainty, Melissa’s leadership and management skills proved invaluable in her new career. Her commitment to excellence, strong work ethic, and dedication to her clients have earned her a reputation as a go-to agent in the industry. Today she serves Montgomery, Berks, and Chester counties in Pennsylvania, and has formed a team with her real estate partner Kim Berret. There’s a total of five members, and they’ve been growing at a fast speed. With Melissa’s husband working in the military, many of her clients are veterans or military members. She also assists many people who are looking to move to the suburbs from Philadelphia. “During 2020, people weren’t really going into the office anymore, so our area started to grow quickly,” she explains. A large percentage of her business derives from repeat clients and referrals, as Melissa goes above and beyond to exceed expectations. Melissa stands out as an agent because she’s committed to education and has a high level of expertise about the real estate market. She’s focused on helping her clients win in multiple offer situations, and has developed an entire menu of strategies to achieve this. “It’s been really difficult to get under contract during the

last two years, and I work with a lot of VA people, so I work really hard to educate other real estate agents about it and present their offers in an enticing way.” Melissa also prioritizes educating her clients on how to navigate the market and make informed decisions about their purchases, even if it means advising them not to engage in a particular bidding war. Sellers receive the same outstanding support, with Melissa utilizing various tools and strategies to get their home sold for top dollar. One recent seller said, “I sold my home due to some personal issues. I was recommended Missy from my sister who had just worked with her to buy a new house. I emailed Missy and she immediately responded. She came to my house to meet me and within 30 minutes already knew what she wanted to do. Photos were taken the following week and listed for sale that Saturday. It sold a day later. Missy handled EVERYTHING, including me not having to go to the closing. She is a gangster when it comes to real estate. If you’re looking to buy or sell, reach out to her. Even for an ignorant home seller like me, it was a piece of cake thanks to her.” The future looks bright for Melissa, as she plans to invest even more into the team’s education, getting everyone ABR accredited and taking continuing education classes. Additionally, they are building and launching new programs, including a veteran savings program that partners with lenders, title companies, home inspectors, and home warranty companies to help clients save money at closing. “While the market changes gears, we’re not sitting back and waiting, we are building and moving forward.”
