CLAUDIA MICELI
After moving to San Diego years ago, Claudia Miceli soon found her true passion: real estate. She and her husband, Domenic, moved for his career, and Claudia was trying to determine what to do next. “I was a fashion designer for 20+ years, and we were always buying and flipping homes during that time,” Claudia explains. “So when we moved, Domenic encouraged me to look into real estate.” Though she hesitated at first, one evening she and her husband decided to attend career night at Keller Williams. “We both fell in love with everything about it, so we earned our licenses.” In their first year, they completed over 10 transactions, and quickly began building their business. Their talent for this industry was abundantly clear and they made great strides even during the pandemic. After Domenic unexpectedly passed away at the end of 2022, Claudia set out to carry on their legacy.

“I had a choice, I could either crawl back into bed or bounce back and do this for my husband, because this is what he always wanted,” Claudia explains. Within the first month of 2023, she already had three sales, with another one pending.
“I’m doing it with him in my heart, and utilizing everything he taught me along the way.”
Serving the greater San Diego area, including Poway, Carmel Valley, Del Mar and La Mesa, much of Claudia’s business consists of repeat clients and referrals. She becomes friends with those she serves, as she guides them throughout their journey and eases stress. “I am there for them from beginning to end,” she explains. She works with many first-time home buyers, especially immigrants, who hold a special place in her heart. “My parents moved to America and lived in an apartment for ten years because they didn’t know how to buy a property or what to do,” Claudia says. “When I meet my clients, I explain all the steps to them and take them through everything, so they always know what to expect.”
For the listing side, Claudia also goes above and beyond, placing properties on all the top social media platforms and real estate sites. “We do videos, drone footage, create flyers, and provide staging if it’s needed,” she explains. “If they can’t or don’t want to pay for staging, I will personally go in the house and stage it with my own props and make sure the house is clean before we take pictures.” Providing a white glove-style service, Claudia ensures every detail is tended to and all questions are answered.

When Claudia isn’t working, she loves to spend time with her family. She also enjoys painting. “We recently purchased a home in Poway and for the past few months we’ve been renovating it, so that takes up some of my weekends, too.”
As time goes on, Claudia hopes to expand more into the luxury side of the business and continue growing. “I just love this business. To gain my clients’ appreciation and for them to acknowledge the hard work I put into it is everything to me.”
