GINA MADEYA

Gina Madeya’s passion for real estate was deeply rooted in her family’s history, as her mother was a broker and her grandparents owned commercial properties. After spending 25 years in corporate America, Gina felt it was time to explore a new path. “Real estate was always in my DNA, so I knew once I was tired of the corporate world, real estate would be the next logical step,” she explains. She took a leap of faith and made the transition, which she hasn’t regretted for a moment since. Her dedication and enthusiasm for helping clients find their dream homes makes her a valuable asset to the real estate community.

Serving the greater Seattle area with a focus on the Eastside, Gina works as a solo agent with an assistant by her side. The area is full of tech workers, making it an intriguing market to work in. This region’s rapid escalation of home values during COVID-19 has presented challenges for buyers, but it has also created opportunities for Gina to work with a diverse range of clients, from first-time buyers to luxury buyers and sellers.

Gina sets herself apart as an agent by being very hands-on and prioritizing her clients’ needs and goals. She strives to guide them through the real estate process in a way that makes them feel at ease and confident in their decisions. “When I work with my clients, during our first initial meeting, it’s very important for them to understand that my goal is to support them through this process,” she explains. “So every step of the way, they are comfortable and able to make informed choices.” Her approach engenders trust, resulting in successful outcomes for her clients, which is reflected in the referrals they send her way.

One recent client wrote, “We bought our first home with Gina 5 years ago and then again recently when we were ready to move and buy a second time. We took our time finding the perfect house each time and Gina was patient with our needs and shared great enthusiasm through the process- always sharing information and data where possible to help inform our choices. Gina’s passion for her work shows in the number of things she is able to balance. She put us in touch with the best people in the business and was thorough in handling the transactions.”

When Gina isn’t working, she’s giving back as much as possible. Community plays an important role in Gina’s life. “I believe community is an extension of family,” she explains. As VP Elect of Governmental and Public Affairs and serving on the executive committee of Seattle King County Realtors®, she liaises with local and state representatives to advocate for housing issues. She is passionate about identifying ways to provide housing opportunities for everyone. Gina also serves on the board of a nonprofit called Alpha Support Living Services, which provides housing to adults and children with developmental disabilities in King, Snohomish, and Spokane County. “Within my brokerage, I’m also part of a group of agents and lenders that identify a local organization to support each month,” Gina says. “This month, we put together backpacks and school supplies for underprivileged children.”
