Charge Up Operator – Production CSA Mine, Cobar, NSW Job Ref: CSA0279 CSA Mine is looking for an experienced Production Stope Charge Up Operator to join the team. You will work in a team that is focused on safety, while driving to meet the plan. You will work in one of the world’s most iconic mining districts, which has the second highest grade copper mine in the country. About the role: • Effectively preparing and charging production drill holes to deliver stope firing on target • Charging production stopes and development headings • Reading and understanding production drill and charge-up plans • Hanging and removal of vent bag, air and water services • Having a strong commitment and attitude toward Safety, Health and Environment The successful applicant will have: • Current Australian Driver’s Licence (minimum P2 or equivalent) • Working at Heights qualification • UHL/BEUL certification or willingness and ability to obtain prior to commencement (essential) • Previous underground mining experience (Production Stope Charging and mining operations) • Previous experience operating an MCU or similar blast product delivery vehicle (desired) • Experience with electronic blasting systems (advantageous) Conditions This position is offered on a residential or drive in drive out (DIDO) basis on 7/7 roster. If residential is the preferred option, relocation costs and a housing subsidy will be available to assist in relocating to Cobar. Candidates interested in the DIDO option will be provided with single commute accommodation and meals at the mine camp.
