Welcome to November!

We’re excited to welcome all our new and returning members this month. November is full of fun activities, and we encourage everyone to join in and make the most of what’s happening around the resort. Don’t forget to check out the weekly food trucks for a tasty treat and a chance to socialize!

We are excited to announce our first two chartered bus trips! We're partnering with a thirdparty tour director to bring these special experiences to you. The first trip is scheduled for November 17-19. For more details, please check out the flyers and our app.

Don’t miss our monthly SWAGON giveaway! To enter, simply download our Live Cobblestone App, show us proof, and get signed up for your chance to win. Looking ahead, our Thanksgiving Dinner will be a potluck. We’ll provide the meat, and we invite you to bring your favorite sides to share. It’s a wonderful opportunity to celebrate together and enjoy a delicious meal as a community.

This November, our sales team is thankful for the wonderful community we got to be part of, and we'd love to help you join it. Sudoku November

Rules: The rules for Sudoku are simple. A 9×9 square must be filled in with numbers from 1-9 with no repeated numbers in each line, horizontally or vertically.

Activities Corner,

Happy Fall Del Pueblo Members! If you are not already here and are on your way, you will be here just in time for the beautiful weather.

We have a great November planned for you to kick off the season! Join us on the 7th for a “Meet & Greet Potluck”. Bring your favorite dish to share, and we will supply the main dish. This will give us a chance to get caught up!

We also have some Amazing New events in November! Join us on 11/14 for “Mocktails & Karaoke”! Bring your favorite beverage and we will provide your mixers and bring your voice and join us for some professional Karaoke music!

Our first ever Chartered Bus Trip leaves for Laughlin on 11/17 and returns on 11/19. Meanwhile for those of you staying back, enjoy music by “Marshall” with and array of Food Trucks at “Trucks & Tunes” on the Northside of the Rec Hall.

Our first dance is on 11/21 with “T-Bones”.

Have you ever been to an indoor Swap meet? Time to clean up for the holidays and join in the fun for our first indoor yard sale. Sign up in the Activities office. Happy November everyone and Welcome Back! So much more to look forward to!!

The thankful season is finally here! We are thankful for all our members this season as the time to gather with family & friends bestows upon us. As the new Activities Director, with strong indigenous lineage, I began this introduction with the indigenous language of “the Desert People” and welcome you to our fun and exciting activities here at Del Pueblo. As we honor our veterans, families, & friends near and far with good times and warm memories. We give thanks to you all! Forever in our hearts, never far from our thoughts. Don’t forget to stop by the activities window to say Hello!

MAINTENANCE TEAM UPDATE

Welcome Back – Fall Updates at the Park

Hello everyone,

It’s starting to cool down, and fall is in the air! Our season is about to begin, and we’ve already welcomed some early-arriving members. My crew and I are working hard to get the park ready and make sure everything is in great shape for your return.

Although we’ve experienced a few delays, we are making steady improvements across the park. Here are some of the updates you can look forward to:

• Tree trimming and landscaping

• Weed removal and new grass planting

• Pool upgrades, including new lounge chairs, umbrellas, a new pump, and a filtration system

• New dog bag dispensers in the dog parks

• Library improvements

• Brand new pickleball nets

• Pressure tank cleaning and well water treatment

• Neighborhood bath/showers have been renovated

• New Felt on pool tables

• New air conditioners in the Rec Center, with more to come

We’re excited for you to see all the enhancements we’ve made. Looking forward to welcoming you back soon— drive safely!

• 1 cup chopped mushrooms sliced

• 2 cups frozen broccoli florets

• 1 tablespoon olive oil

• 1 teaspoon minced garlic

Turn your leftover Thanksgiving turkey into a delicious and comforting Turkey Broccoli Casserole. Combine tender turkey, broccoli, and a creamy cheese sauce for a an easy meal.

• ½ teaspoon sea salt

• ½ teaspoon ground black pepper

• 2 ½ cups shredded cheese use your favorite cheese

• 1 ½ cups heavy cream

• 3 cups shredded cooked turkey 1 pound

Instructions

1. Preheat the oven to 395 degrees F. Grease a 9x13-inch baking dish.

2. Slice the mushrooms.

3. 1 cup chopped mushrooms

4. Heat a large skillet with oil on medium heat. Add mushrooms, broccoli, and garlic and cook for 5 minutes.

5. 2 cups frozen broccoli florets,1 tablespoon olive oil, 1 teaspoon minced garlic

Notes

You can use fresh broccoli if you prefer.

This casserole is also great with chicken.

This casserole is incredibly versatile, so play around with different add-ins and flavors. Try stirring in some cooked bacon, diced bell peppers, or even a pinch of red pepper flakes for a little kick.

You can easily make this ahead of time and then just pop it in the oven when you're ready to eat. Simply

• 1 teaspoon minced parsley

6. Stir in shredded turkey, salt, pepper and parsley. Now add 1 cup of shredded cheese and heavy cream. Stir and bring to a simmer.

7. 3 cups shredded cooked turkey,½ teaspoon sea salt,½ teaspoon ground black pepper,2 ½ cups shredded cheese,1 teaspoon minced parsley, 1 ½ cups heavy cream

8. Transfer to the baking dish. Sprinkle the rest of the cheese on top and bake in the oven for 20 minutes until the cheese melts and is golden.

9. Remove, garnish with parsley and serve.

assemble the casserole as directed, cover it tightly with plastic wrap, and store it in the fridge for up to 24 hours. When you're ready to bake, just remove the plastic wrap and proceed with the recipe as usual.

You'll know the casserole is done when the cheese is melted and bubbly and the edges are starting to brown.
