🏡 Lot Inspections Lot inspections will be taking place this month. Please take a moment to make sure your lot and home exterior are neat, well-maintained, and in compliance with community guidelines.

💡 Light Posts Please check your light posts and exterior lighting to make

sure they are in good working order. Working lights help keep our community safe and welcoming, especially as the days get shorter.

Community Reminders: Guests: All overnight guests must be registered, forms out back near the bulletin board. Newsletters: If you have anything you want to be added to this newsletter, please feel free to let me know before the 20th of each month. Home Exteriors: No carport, porch, or other areas around the home and lot may be used for gardening (fruits and vegetables) or the mass collection of plants and pots. Management reserves the right to determine what constitutes "too many" plants and pots. Lot Improvement Forms: Please remember that any changes or additions to the outside of your home must be approved through the office before starting. We now require that a lot improvement form be filled out for any improvements or changes made to the exterior of your home. If the form is not filled out, then no improvements will be approved. For example, it has been mentioned several times in the newsletter that ALL exterior painting MUST be color-approved by the office, even if it is being painted the same color. If it has not been approved, then you will be required to repaint with an approved color. There will be no exceptions to this rule. Construction Updates: NO CONTRACTORS are to be working in our community without FIRST coming to the office with their appropriate LIABILITY AND WORKMAN'S COMP certificates. If we do not have copies in our office, they will be escorted off the premises. This includes grass cutters. Minors: Minors are not allowed in the clubhouse, pool, or pool area unless accompanied by the homeowner. There will be no exceptions. Parking: Please refrain from parking in other residents' driveways without their permission. Make sure management knows whom you have allowed to park in your driveway. Pets: Dogs are not allowed to be tied up outside. Also, all pets must be on a leash and under your control at all times. There are no exceptions, and there is a fantastic dog park open to the public in Spring Lake.

Tips on getting your home ready to sell. 1. Deep Clean Everything Interior: Scrub floors, walls, windows, cabinets, and fixtures. Replace any stained carpet or linoleum. Exterior: Power-wash the siding, clean windows/screens, and check for any mildew or buildup. Skirting: Make sure it’s intact and not sagging. 2. Handle Repairs & Upgrades Fix any leaky faucets, squeaky doors, or damaged flooring. Repair or replace broken steps or railings. Upgrade dated hardware (handles, knobs, light fixtures) for a fresh look. Make sure HVAC, water heater, and appliances are in good working order. 3. Fun Facts About October When you think of October, probably the first thing that comes to your mind is Halloween, and you’re perfectly entitled to do so, it is such a cool celebration, with worldwide fans waiting for this day all year. But there’s so much more to October than you probably know. Here are 8 fun facts about October that will take us from the changing fall colors, to October cool events, to the insane amount of money people spend on pumpkins! #1. October… the 8th month of the year? You probably know that the calendar once looked a lot different. In the original 10-month calendar, October was month 8. Hence the name, octo, Latin for 8.
