Why We are Grateful

I am thankful for the tight family atmosphere that we all promote here at Tapm. No matter which office you go to visit or work you are greeted with smiles and hugs or fist bumps. It makes you feel warm inside and make your day especially when you are having a bad day.

I am thankful to have Christy Harbison as a true friend. No matter the situation or what ever is going on Christy has always had my back. If I’m tied up with a patient and she sees that I’m running behind, she will always look out for me and help. She always gives me a listening ear when I need advice about things. I truly say she’s always there & I’m grateful God put her in my life at the time that I needed her.

Thankful for a great group of people I get to work beside and serve our patients in High Point daily.

I am very thankful for all our nursing staff especially our pediatric MA’s who always go above and beyond to keep us afloat and help our days go as smoothly as possible. You guys rock!

Seasonal Allergies

TIPS FOR A HEALTHIER SPRING

As the flowers bloom and temperatures rise, so does the pollen count bringing seasonal allergies along for the ride. For many people, springtime means sneezing, congestion, itchy eyes, and fatigue. These symptoms can be more than just a nuisance; they can affect your sleep, focus, and overall quality of life. Understanding your triggers and knowing how to manage them can help you enjoy the season without the discomfort.

One of the most effective ways to manage seasonal allergies is to minimize your exposure to allergens. Keep windows closed during peak pollen hours (usually early mornings), use high-efficiency particulate air (HEPA) filters in your home, and change your clothes and shower after spending time outdoors. Checking your local pollen forecast can also help you plan activities on days when levels are lower. Over-the-counter medications like antihistamines, decongestants, and nasal sprays may provide relief, but it’s always best to consult your provider about the right approach for you.

As healthcare workers, it’s easy to focus on our patients and put our own needs on the back burner— but taking care of ourselves is just as important. Staying on top of seasonal health concerns like allergies helps us feel better and stay present at work and beyond. Let’s continue prioritizing our wellbeing so we can keep showing up as our best selves for those we serve.

Q2 Core Value:

Respect

THE POWER OF RESPECT

As we enter the second quarter of the year, TAPM is proud to highlight our Q2 core value: Respect. Respect is the foundation of how we work, care, and grow together as a team and with our patients. It means valuing every voice, showing empathy in every interaction, and creating a space where trust can thrive.

At TAPM, respect shows up in the way we listen, the way we speak, and the way we care. When we lead with respect, we create a supportive environment where people feel safe, heard, and appreciated whether they’re a colleague or a patient walking through our doors.

This quarter, let’s be intentional about uplifting one another, acknowledging each person’s contributions, and treating every interaction with dignity. A culture of respect strengthens our mission and keeps our community at the heart of everything we do.
