Annual implementation plan was finalized and everybody agreed on those projects. All those are in consonance on the major purpose of making the students all literate which will lead them to understand the contents of every lesson of all the subjects in the junior high school.
The meeting started at exactly 11;45 in the morning followed by the opening prayer and nationalistic song all done via AVP. Food for thought was delivered and shortly discussed by the master teacher of the English department Mrs.Lirio G.Parale. It was followed by the opening remarks by the department head Mrs.Gina A.Grezula.
Mrs.Gina A. Grezula, being the head of the department is in charge of the AIP, facilitated the review of the projects then and now. She presented all the projects of 2021-2022. With all the projects mentioned, the proponents were all asked to discuss shortly of what have been through with their implementation. The benefits to the beneficiaries of the projects and the problems encountered while on their implementation phases were mentioned. Discussions, comments and suggestions followed after all those projects were explained.
After the review of all the projects, the department decided on what to continue and to delete and considered done or unfulfilled or stagnant. There were project proposals presented and the body or the department decided to include in the current AIP.
There was only one major project for reading, the SALITA (Sustaining and Adapting Local Intensive Tools for Active reading). This major project is anchored in the banner programs of the division which is the SPOTLIGHT.

The SALITA project has its different concentrations. The department already started and finished the KIBO PROJECT that determined all the beneficiaries of all the sub-projects of SALITA.
These sub-projects are:
1. KIBO (Keen Identification of Beginning readers to Obtain imminent results)
2. DRILL (Diversified Reading Intervention in Language Learning) 2.Project SEVEN-R (Strategic Enhancement Via Numerous Reading)
3. Project STORYA3 (Improving Students’ Thoughtbuilding skills and Obtain Relevant knowledge that Yields learning through various Activities)
4. Projects REAP (Reading Pantry). All those mentioned projects were crafted and planned purposely for the development of the students. There is one project, Project Cup of Tea (Coaching and Upgrading of Teachers) performance. crafted for implementation and for the purpose of enhancing and monitoring of teachers performance and beyond what are expected to do as teachers.

Other matters followed and everyone was free to voice out matters regarding the teaching and learning process. One of which is the new implemented process of assessment which is the Multi-Dimensional Assessment. Since it was not cascaded yet, they decided to make is a topic for another LAC session scheduled on the third week of November. This will be facilitated by the master teacher Mrs.Lirio G.Parale Reminders were given by the head teacher regarding compliances. She reminded everyone not to become of cause of late compliances of the department.
LAC session formally ended at exactly 12:45 in the afternoon.
