We recently formalized a collaboration agreement with the TNDC in September 2021. Through the years, we have continued to work collaboratively with the members of the Tahltan Nation in advancing community support initiatives such as the improvements at the Dease Lake Airport.

What employment and training opportunities are available to Tahltan members? How do you communicate these opportunities?

We provide employment and training opportunities for available open positions within our company by communicating on our company website (flycma.com) and public job forums such as Indeed.ca (ca.indeed. com/cmp/Central-Mountain-Air/jobs) . Our training opportunities include our low time pilot programs, and our apprentice mentorship programs which allow interested individuals to experience and learn a variety of skills within the flight operations and aircraft maintenance/technical operations departments providing them with a breadth of exposure and choice of guided career paths.

Over the course of the next year and in the future, we intend to work closely with the Employment Department to identify increased means of communicating our available opportunities directly to Tahltan members. Employment opportunities include openings in our departments such as aircraft maintenance, technical and flight operations, airport operations, customer care and contact centers.
