COMPANY OVERVIEW & UPDATE

Any successes or challenges you’d like to share?

Weather posed significant challenges during the 2021 season, causing a delayed start and an early end to the exploration season, with challenges throughout. Overall, the program was a success from a geological perspective. Operationally, the combination of the ongoing pandemic and the volume of mining /exploration industry activity in the region poses challenges with supply chain and service delivery.

Tentative plans and hopes for the 2022 season?

Exploration budget and work plan for 2022 are in development, based on results from 2021. Extended delivery time of assay results and geophysical survey results from 2021 has delayed 2022 planning.

In the very least, Sassy plans to establish a camp on the Foremore property for the purpose of further geological mapping and sampling, and possible ground geophysics. Decision on scope of possible drill program will be made in coming weeks.

RELATIONSHIP WITH THE TCG & TAHLTAN NATION

During the 2021 season, what involvement did TCG personnel and departments have with your company? If they were not involved, why not?

Sassy participated in the online career fair in early 2021. The Lands Department reviewed Sassy’s notice of work revision prior to the exploration season. A group of TCG representatives visited the site /camp in August 2021. Ann Ball, TCG Employment & Contracting Director, worked with Sassy on procurement and tenders, providing referrals and contact information for Tahltan businesses.

In 2021, how many Tahltans did you employ? What positions did they hold in your company and what percentage of Tahltans did you employ compared to others?

Tahltan employees consisted of cooks and geotechnicians. In total, Sassy hired 10 individual Tahltan personnel. Note; not all Tahltan personnel hired worked at the project from beginning to end. Tahltan personnel hired constituted 38% of total number of persons hired to work at the Foremore project in 2021.

What employment opportunities, now and in the future, are available to Tahltan members?

In addition, multiple opportunities exist season to season for employment in roles involving camp support, field assistants, mapping and prospecting, core technicians, core teching, core cutting and sampling, cooks, camp first aid attendant and other functions typically associated with field exploration.
