Community is more than concrete, bricks and steel. The sense of belonging and responsibility doesn’t come from a collection of buildings. It comes from how people use those buildings. It comes from a vision of what a building can be.
We view our success by the number of families we impact.
From 2018-2028, 125,000 families each week will be impacted by facilities we’ve built, and we’re committed to growing that number.
Giving back is instilled in our culture.
We encourage community engagement and provide our employees with 8 hours of paid volunteer time.
Over the years, we’ve supported more than sixty charities. We provide materials as well as our project managers, superintendents and laborers to charitable organizations across Greater KC. And we applaud our employees who volunteer to renovate houses, make presentations to student groups, fundraise for special causes, work at food pantries and remain active in their community churches, schools, scout groups and more.

Why Straub?
We embrace and value self-starters and autonomy. We create plenty of room for growth. We’re not a company interested in flaunting industry accolades. But when it comes to our people and culture, well, those are accolades we’re too proud not to share. We’re honored to have made a few lists from the Greater Kansas City Chamber: Top Ten Business, Best Places to Work and Best Companies to Work for.
