Raccoon Time GRADES K – 5 Westwood Hills Nature Center, 8300 W. Franklin Ave. Come explore the nature center through the eyes of “Raccoon” the puppet. Learn more about raccoons and the world that surrounds them. Of course, Raccoon the puppet will be stopping by to hear all about the day's adventures! Bring a nut-free snack and lunch. Dress for spending time outdoors.

Wild About Animals GRADES K – 5 Westwood Hills Nature Center, 8300 W. Franklin Ave. Snakes, turtles, frogs and more! We’ll have the chance to take Westwood’s education animals out from behind the glass and spend time handling them and learning how to care for them. We’ll also spend time outside to discover how animals live during the winter.

Art in Nature GRADES K – 5 Westwood Hills Nature Center, 8300 W. Franklin Ave. Combining art and nature is one of our favorite ways to spark creativity and appreciate the natural world. Join us at camp to create art inspired by what we see and find outside. There will also be plenty of time to explore the trails and woods that surround the nature center. Bring a nut-free snack and lunch. Dress for spending time outdoors.

Animal Mysteries GRADES K – 5 Westwood Hills Nature Center, 8300 W. Franklin Ave. Spend the day learning about how tricky animals can be! Camouflage, mimicry, playing dead and making strange sounds are all ways critters can fool or outsmart us. We will learn all about these sneaky critters as we play, hike and watch silly puppet shows. Bring a nut-free snack and lunch. Dress for spending time outdoors.
