New online recreation registration site online registration! We have a new online registration software for parks and recreation programs! CivicRec is a new, mobilefriendly site that provides users with a more intuitive, easy-to-navigate system for browsing and registering for recreation activities, classes, sports and leagues. In the future, it will allow users to search for and reserve community facilities, such as picnic shelters, park buildings, courts and fields. You will need to create a new account online or next time you visit The Rec Center or Westwood Hills Nature Center. Steps to creating a new account

To create a new account, visit www.stlouispark.org/rec-registration. On a desktop device, click on the "Log In/Create Account" button in the upper left-hand corner, then select "Create Your St. Louis Park Account." On mobile devices, select "Account" in the upper right corner and then select "Sign Up." Winter activity registration begins Monday, Nov. 15.

Participants will hunt for candy and special eggs in separate age categories. Each participant will receive a bag to collect their goodies. Bring your camera for a picture with the Park bunny! Prizes will be awarded for the coloring contest for ages 8 and under. Pick up a color sheet at The Rec Center or download it when you register. Bring your completed masterpiece to the event. Free yoga by Onelove.yoga

The Rec Center Banquet Room, 3700 Monterey Drive Whether you are new to yoga or a novice, this class is for you! Onelove.yoga will take you through a basic foundational guided practice designed to open your heart and mind through aligning, strengthening and promoting flexibility in the body. Breathing techniques and meditation are also integrated. You can expect an emphasis on simplicity, repetition, ease of movement and modifications to welcome all. Onelove.yoga is a Minnesota, woman founded, nonprofit organization whose mission is to bring yoga and wellness to communities with limited access to its healing. Onelove.yoga was a recipient of the City of St. Louis Park Healthy Living Grant, allowing them to offer these yoga classes. DAY DATEs+TIME

U.G.L.Y. Sweater Dash

All ages Louisiana Oaks Park, 3520 Louisiana Ave. S. The U.G.L.Y. Sweater Dash is back this winter! Dig out your treasured sweater, throw on the masterpiece you just created or simply enjoy the creativity of others. This 5K course loops through Louisiana Oaks Park and the lighted trees of Oak Hill Park. Afterwards, warm up across the street at Park Tavern and revel in your accomplishments while wearing your brand new race medal. Registrants also receive a goodie bag and a raffle ticket for prizes that are drawn at the post-race gathering. Pre-race pick up will be Friday, Dec. 3. More information will be sent to participants. Walk Park

ALL AGES Join us at our community walking event where we’ll meet for a 1 – 2 mile leisure walk the second Saturday of every month to explore parts of the St. Louis Park trail system. If it is raining, snowing or the temperature is below 40 degrees, we will walk inside the St. Louis Park Middle School. Face coverings are required inside the middle school. DAY DATEs+TIME
