AGES 4+ The new interpretive center at Westwood Hills Nature Center is the perfect venue for any birthday party. Birthday parties include a one-hour program led by one of our naturalists and another hour for gifts and food in a private party room. The cost includes the two-hour room rental. Party guests will meet a live animal, hike outdoors and then celebrate in the party room. You bring the treats, tableware and presents.

Holiday Ornament Making Party

The How To’s of Drawing Camp
AGES 5 – 12 The Rec Center Gallery Room, 3700 Monterey Drive Does your young artist love to draw? This introductory drawing camp teaches kids the basic techniques and principles of drawing. We’ll encourage creativity and imagination, while experimenting with a variety of drawing materials and techniques. These dance programs are designed to be fun and introduce youth to the art of dance. Beginning Ballet

Indoor Skateboard Camps at 3rd Lair
AGES 6+ 3rd Lair Skate Park, 850 Florida Ave., Golden Valley Camps for beginners to the boarding experts and everybody in between! The basics are taught, like balance, pushing, dropping in, skate park safety and etiquette. Instructors have years of teaching knowledge. Equipment needed for camp includes a skateboard and helmet. Knee pads, elbow pads and wrist guards are recommended. All equipment is available at no extra charge if needed. All participants are welcome to stay and board after the instruction ends. Parents interested in volunteering to coach their child’s basketball team will have their child’s registration fee refunded at the end of the season (maximum two coaches per team). Parent coaches must help cover all games and practices. If interested in coaching, note on your child’s registration.
Little Tigers Self Defense
AGES 3 – 5 Davis Community Center, 5430 Glenwood Ave. N., Golden Valley Master Malone will help your child learn basic self-defense and martial arts skills while developing coordination and flexibility. Basic kicks, punches and strikes are taught through a variety of exercises and fun games. This program promotes focus, discipline and respect – great personal tools to carry into the future. *Resident rate applies to participants living in Golden Valley, New Hope or St. Louis Park. Face coverings
In accordance with St. Louis Park Public Schools face covering requirements, face coverings must be worn by everyone, including spectators. Players are required to wear face coverings when on the sidelines; face coverings do not have to be worn by players while they are in the game.
Mites Basketball
GRADES K – 1 St. Louis Park Middle School, 2025 Texas Ave. S. Skill-based program with an emphasis on the fundamentals like dribbling, passing and shooting. Instructional scrimmages will be played. Mini basketballs are used, and baskets will be lowered for this activity. When registering, note up to two children your child would like to be on a team with. DAY DATEs+TIMEs

Youth Basketball League

Games in Crystal and Golden Valley
This league provides kids the opportunity to learn basketball skills, playing as a team and good sportsmanship. Practices are held Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays at 6, 7 or 8 p.m., depending on coach availability, at St. Louis Park elementary schools. Games are played Saturdays between 10 a.m. and 3 p.m. at the Crystal and Davis community centers. Teams are coached by parent volunteers. Face coverings required for spectators. DAYs DATEs+TIMEs
