Reach for Resources

The adaptive recreation program is a cooperative effort of Reach for Resources and the cities of Brooklyn Center, Brooklyn Park, Chanhassen, Golden Valley, Maple Grove, Plymouth and St. Louis Park. Reach is an agency that serves individuals with developmental disabilities and their families in western Hennepin County and eastern Carver County. NOTE: People not living in one of the above cities are considered “non-residents” and should add $8 to select registration fees. Inclusion support

Reach for Resources provides inclusion support to children and adults with disabilities who would like to participate in their city’s parks and recreation programs. Registration for these programs is done through your parks and recreation division. Inclusion support through Reach is offered in the cities of Brooklyn Center, Brooklyn Park, Chanhassen, Chaska, Crystal, Golden Valley, New Hope, Robbinsdale and St. Louis Park, and Three Rivers Park District. After registering, contact Reach for Resources to discuss the needs/accommodations for yourself or your child. Allow a minimum of two weeks’ notice for a successful inclusion.

Sexuality for All Abilities

AGES 18+ Zoom This class is taught and led by Lutheran Social Service of Minnesota’s SELF Team. Using lessons from the Sexuality for All Abilities Curriculum, students will learn about advocating for their own boundaries and needs in relationships. Topics include: healthy relationships, safe and appropriate boundaries, personal safety, private and public spaces, dating, human reproduction, pregnancy prevention, and gender and sexual orientation. Due to generous funding sources, there is no cost to attend this class. DAY DATEs+TIME

Teen Explorers

AGES 13 – 21 Various locations Come hang out with a fun group of people! Our teens love going bowling, grabbing ice cream, getting outside, having themed parties, doing crafts and so much more! Adaptive Bowling League

Yoga

Non-Competitive Basketball

Nordic Skiing Pass

ADULTS Les Bolstad Golf Course 2275 Larpenteur Ave. W., Falcon Heights Get your season long nordic skiing pass now! Partnering with the University of Minnesota, your pass will allow you to ski at Les Bolstad Golf Course on the University of Minnesota campus as long as the course is open.
