Tuesday Turtles/Wednesday Whirligigs AGES 4 – 5 (DROP-OFF PROGRAM) Westwood Hills Nature Center, 8300 W. Franklin Ave. Participants will explore and discover the world outside while on naturalist-led hikes. We’ll listen to nature stories, create crafts, play games and laugh with our famous puppets. Each class dives into a different nature topic. There are four sessions, and each session has four classes. Feel free to sign up for one or more monthly sessions. Puppet Story Time ALL AGES Westwood Hills Nature Center, 8300 W. Franklin Ave. Laugh out loud as the Westwood puppets tell a story in their animated comical style. Begin with open play and exploration. Naturalist-led activities will highlight the story and create memories for you and your youngest family members.

Cozy Camp

GRADES K – 5 Westwood Hills Nature Center, 8300 W. Franklin Ave. Have you heard about “hygge”? This Danish word is all about finding ways to be comfy and cozy in the wintertime. Put on your comfy clothes and spend a day at the nature center full of story times, puppet shows and a campfire. Bring a nut-free snack and lunch. Dress for spending time outdoors.

Our projects will use materials and ideas found in and inspired by the woods, marsh and prairie of Westwood. Be prepared to build, create, invent and let your imagination run free.
