Inspire Education Group (IEG) is comprised of Peterborough College, Stamford College and University Centre Peterborough. IEG is a vibrant and diverse community with campuses in both Stamford and Peterborough.
Our mission at IEG is to transform lives through inspirational and innovative learning. Our students and alumni go on to do amazing things and we are so proud of their achievements. Our staff work exceptionally hard to ensure you receive an outstanding learning experience.
Choosing to study with IEG means you are joining a college group with excellent standards of academic achievement and a group that genuinely cares for its students. This was recently endorsed by our brilliant Ofsted inspection outcome, which saw us as rated Good overall, with Outstanding grades for our Adult Provision and our High Needs Provision.
The Ofsted Inspection report highlights so many fantastic aspects but one of the most pleasing things that inspectors said about us was that ‘staff at all levels care passionately about the wellbeing of our students’.
This is so true – we care passionately about you as an individual – where you are now and where you want to get to. It’s our job to ensure we do everything we can to help you and support you on that journey.

“The course was the best in the area, and I heard lots of reviews from previous students about the high level of coaching. So much teamwork is involved in the football course, so it’s easy to make friends. The trips and informative talks are great for networking and I am progressing on to a dealership Apprenticeship with part-time sport coaching.”
