RESULTS DAY 2025: INSPIRE EDUCATION GROUP CELEBRATES RESULTS DAY SUCCESS

Inspire Education Group (IEG) is celebrating a year of exceptional student success, with 1 in 2 students achieving top grades A*-B at A Level or D*D*D* to MMM in equivalent diploma qualifications, including the firstever cohort of T Levels students.

IEG SHORTLISTED FOR TRAINING PROVIDER OF THE YEAR AS FINALISTS NAMED FOR PETERBOROUGH APPRENTICESHIP AWARDS 2025

Inspire Education Group (IEG), which includes Stamford College, Peterborough College and University Centre Peterborough, is proud to be named a finalist for the prestigious Training Provider/Programme of the Year award at the Peterborough Apprenticeship Awards 2025.

In addition to celebrating its finalists, IEG is also proud to be a sponsor of the Peterborough Apprenticeship Awards, supporting the recognition of apprentice and employer success throughout the region.

GCSE RESULTS DAY 2025: INSPIRE EDUCATION GROUP CELEBRATES STUDENT SUCCESS

Students at Stamford College and Peterborough College, part of Inspire Education Group (IEG), are celebrating today, having received their GCSE results in English and Maths. The hard work and determination of hundreds of students across both campuses have paid off, with many achieving the grades they need to take the next steps in their education or careers.

UNIVERSITY CENTRE PETERBOROUGH

STUDENT HOSTS FIRST ESPORTS TOURNAMENT

University Centre Peterborough (UCP) recently welcomed gamers from the local community for a fast-paced and actionpacked Rocket League Esports Tournament, hosted in the university’s brand-new computer suite.

The free event, open to all ages, brought together players and fans for a day of competitive gaming, with the morning dedicated to thrilling 1v1 matches and the afternoon featuring intense 2v2 battles. The competition concluded with two champions crowned at the end of the day.

Recently, IEG celebrated another year of strong national performance with the release of the latest National Achievement Rates Tables (NARTs), ranking 16th nationally for 16–18-year-old learners on study programmes at General Further Education (GFE) Colleges, meaning IEG’s largest student cohort is among the top 10% of colleges across England. Additionally, IEG placed in the top 20% nationally for highgrade (4–9) achievement rates in GCSE English, demonstrating strong academic outcomes for learners aiming to progress.

HOW GREEN IS THE CENTRE FOR GREEN TECHNOLOGY?

The new Centre for Green Technology at Peterborough College isn’t just preparing the future workforce - it’s a building designed to practise what it teaches. So, how green is the Centre itself?

Designed in close consultation with industry, the Centre supports full-time students, apprentices and adult learners, offering everything from entry-level trade qualifications to Higher Technical Qualifications (HTQs) and CPD for professionals.

With green jobs projected to reach over 440,000 by 2030 and employer demand for green skills having grown by 46% in the last year alone, the CGT has been designed to ensure learners, employers and the wider community can adapt to the demands of a low-carbon future.

MOTOR VEHICLE STUDENTS COMPLETE WORK EXPERIENCE WITH VALOUR RACING AND REGENT SERVICES RACING (RSR)

We’re incredibly grateful to Valour Racing in Corby and RSR in Waltham on the Wolds for offering valuable work experience placements to our Motor Vehicle students.

Darren Storey gained hands-on experience with Valour Racing, while Andrew Garner developed his skills with the team at RSR. Thank you to both companies for helping our students accelerate their careers.

The IEG Employer Engagement team works with over 1,000 organisations with the aim of developing their workforce locally, regionally and nationally.
