“When you lose someone you love, You gain an angel you know.” The St. Philip’s family extends its deep sympathies and prayers of comfort to the families of Robert Eagle, Jon Mosle, Jr., Alice Pinkard, Camille Powell, Crystal Rose, and Edward “Rusty” Rose. We are honored to have known each of them and been blessed by their presence and presents on earth.

Robert Eagle (1928 – 2016) Mr. Eagle was the first Chairman of National Honda Dealer Council and owner of thirteen dealerships in Dallas and Houston. He quietly funded dozens of college educations, was an active community and civic volunteer and member of the Church of the Incarnation.

Jon Mosle, Jr. (1929 – 2015) Jon was a former St. Philip’s trustee and longtime friend of the ministry. Deemed a “businessman of the highest integrity”, he was a successful broker and banker. Mr. Mosle was also a member, vestryman and warden of St. Michael and All Angels Episcopal Church.

Camille Powell (1980 – 2015) Camille was a devoted parent to a St. Philip’s student. A loving wife, mother, and Reading/TAG teacher at Celestino Mauricio Soto, Jr. Elementary School in DISD, her faith shaped every aspect of her short but blessed life.
