St. Philip’s School & Community Center Announces Historic $50 million Campaign
On May 11, St. Philip’s officially announced its $50 million WE BELIEVE Campaign to ensure its long-term financial health and stability, as well as position the organization for pending growth in years to come. WE BELIEVE is the largest campaign in the organization’s history. Of the $50 million to be raised over the next four years, 90% will be used for Endowment and Capital needs and 10% for operations.
The campaign has been in the silent phase for the past year and has already garnered $10 million. Trustee and expert fundraiser, Bill Lively is the volunteer campaign consultant. The campaign leadership includes co-chairs Diana and Todd Maclin, Nancy Perot and Rod Jones, and Tina and Dan Stansbury, Jr.
The Perot Family announced their $3 million “seed” donation to the campaign at the kick-off event. Additionally, Gradus and the Todd and Diana Maclin family have made $1 million commitments to the campaign. These friends and other seed families are modeling transformation of our world by faith, education and service.
For seven decades, St. Philip’s has been a beacon of light and hope in South Dallas. WE BELIEVE will propel the organization to be a permanent resource for educational, spiritual, and cultural development and community revitalization.
