What is the ACCLT’s proposal?
The ACCLT is trying to set up a different model for providing homes “ one that is affordable for those who need it most. Their vision is to develop or rejuvenate homes that will be owned and managed by the ACCLT with rents linked to local earnings”like a not-for-profit landlord. How can you help?
The ACCLT need to extend and broaden the skills and experience of the management board. It’s looking for new board members who have backgrounds in: • property finance and accounting • running social media campaigns • grants and trust fundraising. It’s a commitment of a few hours a month to attend board meetings and carry out other ad-hoc tasks. It’s a great chance for anyone with the required knowledge and skills to be part of a sea change in affordable and sustainable housing provision locally. You can find more details of the volunteer
