DANCE SUMMER CLASSES

BALLET/TAP

Come join the fun! Students will have fun learning Ballet positions, warm-ups, and tap steps Correct technique and terms will be taught Students will learn a dance routine to perform for family and friends Parents are allowed to stay for the first 10 minutes on the first day of class and are encouraged to attend the last class for a presentation

Be a gymnastic star! Learn cartwheels, handstands, rolls, round offs, and much, much more! Parents are allowed to stay for the first 10 minutes on the first day of class and are encouraged to attend the last class for a great recital

Please wear a leotard, stretch pants, sweatpants, or shorts Bare feet during class is suggested Children should secure long hair back in a ponytail.

LET’S PLAY GAMES!

Come and play some social games such as bingo, Loteria, Connect Four, Jenga, and more! We will get to play many games to stimulate our brains and to socialize with our friends! Program is loosely guided and is geared towards individuals with disabilities. All are welcome to join. This play program is designed for children with Autism Spectrum Disorders Children should bring a sack lunch to class each week Participants must be able to function in a 1 to 3 staff to participant ratio and independent with personal care needs or provide an attendant for personal care Attendants will be required to pass a City of San Jose background check in programs that serve youth under 18 years of age.

Camp includes skill building, new friendships, and much more! Campers need to bring water, lunch and sunscreen each day Each Camp San Jose Jr session runs for one (1) week. Avan Duong has been a part of the P.R.N.S. team at Seven Trees Community Center for over 5 years, as the center’s Recreation Supervisor. He greatly cares about the community and staff, and always goes above and beyond to make sure the center is a safe and welcoming place for everyone who walks through our doors!

Toan Chau has been a member of the P.R.N.S. team at Seven Trees Community Center for over 5 years! He was originally a Seven Trees Summer Camp participant before becoming a staff member. Toan is part of our Front Desk team. He always has a smile on his face and always goes above and beyond to greet and help our customers with his plethora of knowledge regarding all things Seven Trees!
