YUAN JI (CHIH) DANCE
The Yuan Ji (Chih) Dance is a mixture of dance, martial art, physical therapy, and the "Chi" exercise It has the effect of the Chinese traditional massage, where physical exercise is combined with entertainment, body building, and health care Frequent practice of this exercise can reduce blood pressure and increase the flexibility of muscles. Enjoy this artistic dance class with a great group of participants.

TAI CHI
The tai chi class is open to beginners, intermediate and advanced practicioners After a warm-up session involving all class registrants, the class will split into a beginners group and an intermediate/advanced group, each group to be led by a dedicated volunteer The beginners will work on the basics of Yang style tai chi. They will learn the names of and practice individual forms or movements and incorporate them into a sequence of forms to comprise the 24-form tai chi The intermediate/advanced sessions will comprise of several kinds of lessons: (a) refinement of the 24form tai chi, (b) learning and practicing other forms of tai chi: 13-form, 37-form, 42-form, 108-form, (c) learning and practicing sword and fan forms of tai chi Class registrants are encouraged to wear clothing that will not hinder movement of legs and arms

REFUND/ TRANSFER POLICY
Refund and transfer requests need to be made in writing. Refunds and transfers will be given for requests received at least 14 calendar days prior to the start of the program/class. No refunds or transfers will be made for cancellations received by the City less than 14 calendar days prior to the start of the program/class. There will be a $10 refund processing fee for EACH activity. We do NOT prorate refunds for any classes missed.
LEISURE CLASS POLICIES
Our method of registration is designed to offer equal access to all San José residents.
Customers can register for any class at the PRNS facility or online. The City does not guarantee participation from one session to the next. All online, walk-in, mailed, faxed registration will be treated in the same manner. San Jose residents will be given first priority to register. Registration forms will be processed in the order they were received. If a class instructor is absent or a class is canceled due to inclement weather, a make-up class will be added to the end of the session.
