Cost

Starbird Youth Center is free for all registered students

Regular attendance is required to stay enrolled. Consistent absences will result in removal from program and space will be offered to the next student on the waiting list

REGISTRATION

Registration opens in person ONLY at Starbird Youth Center on Tuesday July 15th, @ 3-5 p.m.

Maximum enrollment is 40 students.

The program is for students ages 6 to 13. Registration will not be accepted at the school office

Join Brick Tech this spring as we plan, build, create and test LEGO® projects with working trains! Get ready to move and groove in our Dance Fitness class! This energetic and fun-filled class combines Zumba, barre, and hip-hop dance workouts to give you a total body workout. ZUMBA

A Zumba class is a dynamic and exhilarating fitness program that combines Latin and international music with dance moves It incorporates interval training, alternating fast and slow rhythms, to help improve cardiovascular fitness. The atmosphere in a Zumba class is typically energetic and fun, focusing on enjoying the music and the movements rather than perfecting each step Participants of all fitness levels can join, as the moves can often be modified to suit different abilities The class usually lasts about an hour and is led by a certified Zumba instructor who guides the participants through various dance styles such as salsa, reggaetón, merengue, and cumbia, ensuring a full-body workout that feels more like a dance party than a fitness session

Be a gymnastic star! Learn cartwheels, handstands, rolls, round offs, and much, much more! Parents are allowed to stay for the first 10 minutes on the first day of class and are encouraged to attend the last class for a great recital

Kids love dodgeball! When playing dodgeball, kids learn to throw, catch, dip, dive, duck, and DODGE a ball. Dodgeball is great for teaching good sportsmanship, teamwork, empathy, and strategy Kids will participate in various skills challenges, competitions, and games leading to a dodgeball tournament. Your children will PLAY HARD and HAVE FUN!

SOCCERTOTS

Playable on almost any surface, these soccer-themed motor skill classes are very easy for youngsters to get into Classes focus on developing motor skills and self-confidence Core soccer skills are taught as well as an introduction to light competition. Instructor-tostudent ratio is kept small to maximize individual development, and above all else we promote fun, fun, fun! Parent participation required children under the age of 3 5 years

The Martial Arts Summer Youth Camp offers an exciting blend of Karate and Kickboxing, where kids learn striking techniques, selfdefense, and agility through fun, high-energy activities This camp promotes physical fitness, discipline, and confidence in a supportive environment.

Learning basketball has never been more fun! These classes focus on dribbling, shot technique, passing and team work Adjustable hoops and appropriately sized basketballs are used to always provide just the right amount of challenge. Parent participation required children under the age of 3 5 years

VOLLEYBALL (OUTDOOR)

Skyhawks Volleyball takes the energy and excitement of this great team sport and puts it all together into one fun-filled program All aspects of the game are taught through drills and exercises that focus on bumping, setting, spiking, hitting and serving This camp is designed for the beginning to intermediate player Participants should wear appropriate clothing and gym shoes Knee pads are optional

Join us for a morning jolt to get your day going! This workout is great for any active senior Workout goal is to do at least 3 miles by walking in place and performing various movement patterns at 30 seconds intervals. The music playlist will make you want to move!

AEROBICS & FITNESS GOLD
