Catching up with the Whitetail Club Director

Dear Whitetail Club Members, >> Welcome to March! Over 50 members braved the Presidents’ Day weekend crowds and stopped by our last Brundage Tailgate of the season. With over 30 inches of accumulated snow that week, the crowds were a small price to pay to enjoy what has arguably been the best winter sports conditions I’ve seen since moving here. Thank you to all that stopped by the Whitetail Club tent and huge kudos go to the team for putting on a terrific event. At the Annual Property Owners Association meeting held on December 27, 2018, it was determined that an annual reissuance of all access codes for members, employees and vendors will be implemented to further our efforts in managing unsolicited visitors from trespassing on club property. You will be receiving notice via mail that effective April 1, 2019, you will all have been issued a new membership specific access code. Please communicate this new code to your family, as your existing access code will be deactivated at 12:00am that same day without exception. If for some reason you do not receive notification within the next couple weeks with your new membership specific access code, please reach out to Safety & Security at 208.630.3795. New directories are set to be delivered this May, and similar to years past we’ll be mailing you a copy of your existing ‘as is’ listing for you to note any updates you would like made.

Please write any changes directly on the proof and either mail (envelope provided) or scan back your revisions. We’ll ask that all revisions be submitted by March 31, 2019. If changes are not received by this date, we will assume updates are not necessary. Directories will be mailed out in May. March brings a ‘Walk through East Asia’ Cooking Class, a ‘Just the Classics’ cocktail class and Spring Break festivities for the family to enjoy. I look forward to seeing you there. Sincerely,

MUSIC SHORE LODGE JAZZ PARTY April 26-28 The 2nd annual Jazz party brings the celebrated Sun Valley Jazz Festival to Shore Lodge for 3-days of live music on the shores of Payette Lake. Though warmer days may be on the horizon, the snow will stay around for a little while – giving us the opportunity to enjoy the icy outdoors and all the rugged adventures that accompany it. With adventures however, comes exposure to unforgiving elements that may harm your skin’s delicate moisture barrier. With that (and you) in mind, we crafted this warming ginger rosemary scrub that will exfoliate and cleanse your skin, while rich oils and fresh herb essences nourish and hydrate it. Try this exclusive recipe for yourself and let us know what you think! ROSEMARY GINGER SUGAR SCRUB RECIPE: 2/3 cups of sugar 1/3 cup of Epsom Salt 1/3 cup of coconut oil (could be substituted for sweet almond oil, or light olive oil) 4 tablespoons of fresh rosemary; chopped 1 teaspoon of powdered ginger 5 drops of Rosemary Essential oil (optional) Recipe directions: In a bowl place sugar, Epsom salt, powdered ginger, and fresh rosemary and stir until all ingredients are well incorporated. In a separate container, melt the coconut oil, add the rosemary essential oil, and stir until blended. Add oil mix to the dry ingredients and stir until you reach a scrub like consistency. Place in air tight container and store.
